Large Secluded Cabin on the Lake - NOW SLEEPS 10

This beautiful log cabin sits beside East Pond in Smithfield Maine. With direct access to the lake, you can hit the lake first thing in the morning and play all day. Or, stick closer to home and drop a line off the dock for some good old-fashioned fishing. Swimming, boating, fishing, or relaxing in the sun, however you like to relax, we have it here at Fish Upon A Star Cabins.

The Central Maine area also offers so many opportunities for indoor and outdoor fun. The cabin is centrally located to Augusta, Waterville, Skowhegan and Belgrade Lakes so you can discover all our area has to offer!

This two floor cabin boasts 4 cozy but spacious bedrooms, a large kitchen, spacious sitting room and dining room with seating for 10. The wrap around screened-in porch includes two seating areas for chatting the evening away and a dining table for meals or for family game nights.

In the warmer months, you will find a gas grill and a charcoal grill, two outdoor seating areas and a dining table. The lake side seating area circles a firepit, looking out over the private dock and swimming area. Kayaks, a canoe and pfd's are available for you to get out onto beautiful East Pond for a day of sightseeing and sunshine. Boat rentals are also available for longer excursions.

Exceptional camp on a secluded pond. The hosts went above and beyond making sure our family had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Literally everything we could have hoped for in our stay was available on the property.

Relaxation Paradise

We loved our stay at this cabin. Our family vacation was relaxing and cozy. We are already planning our return. This cabin is so clean and has everything there for the most enjoyable stay. You can tell the owner has thought of everything to make your stay feel like home.

If you like loons

Wonderful place. Feels like you’re in the Maine woods. Nice to have canoe and kayaks and were easy to get in and out of water. All of us are in our 80’s and getting down to the lake was easy. The fire pit was really great too.

Treasured Family Time

This was our second trip to this lovely cabin with our extended family. Everyone felt right at home. We were very lucky to have beautiful weather for swimming and boating again. Renting a pontoon boat from the owners was definitely the highlight of this trip.

Fishing Trip

Amy is a great host she has made sure you have a clean location with all the amenities. The house had everything and it is very well appointed. Very scenic location. Very enjoy to sit by the fire pit at the water and enjoy.

Great House

We went for a fall golf trip and needed a place close by to the golf course. This house was awesome and was perfect for our group. We golfed all day at nearby Belgrade Lakes (my favorite course ever) and then we went back to the house and fished off the dock, built a fire and had a great time. There were 8 of us in the group and we were very comfortable. The house was very clean and very enjoyable and had everything we needed. 10/10 weekend.

Perfect lake week

The house is spotless and well appointed with lots of room for everyone. We really appreciated the a/c and laundry. We spent lots of time by the lake, but when thunderstorms rolled through, the roomy screened porches were a wonderful bonus. The hosts were thoughtful and generous. We look forward to staying again next year!

Beautiful Cabin in a beautiful setting!

We celebrated our granddaughter's 1st birthday at the cabin. The cabin is beautiful, tastefully decorated and was thoughtfully stocked for our stay. We enjoyed time at the lake, even a little canoeing and smores! We would definitely come back.

Girls Golf CMp

We are our annual trip in this was the nicest place we’ve stayed in, everything was top-of-the-line quality. How the pictures on her online are very accurate. Many times we’ve been surprised that nothing looks like the pictures. Had a couple questions for her, and she replied immediately. Would recommend this four bedroom house any group.

Family fun

I don't even know where to start but everything was perfect. Spacious living area, family friendly environment just overall great experience. We had 3 generations and our babysitter and everyone had a great time. The kitchen had everything we needed, the host was very responsive to any and all questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Picture Perfect!

This is a spacious cabin that was furnished beautifully, and well stocked with all the amenities. The screened in porches were a welcome plus for an early breakfast or a rainy afternoon. Communicating with the host was excellent and would highly recommend this property

Amazing lakefront retreat!

My family and I loved our stay at this immaculate property. The house was comfortable for our group of 5 and incredibly well-appointed with everything one could think of for cooking and relaxing as a family. Lots of little details for smaller kids too! We loved sitting by the lake and listening to the loons, especially one who hung around so close to the dock, we felt like he was part of the family! We rented a jet ski from the property owners and explored the pond, and also took some of the kayaks out. The property owners were so friendly and communication was great. Overall, an amazing trip and we hope to return!
