Our Story

We are Courtney and Ian. Courtney, a Colorado native and Ian, originally from Mexico and most recently from Colorado have been visiting Panama for years. During COVID, the opportunity to make the move permanent finally made sense. We are here full-time and if you need anything during your stay we would love to help.

Getting to Know Casa Catch and Relax

As the name suggests, this home is all about catching waves, fish, fun and sun….and most of all, relaxing! We’ve tried to think of it all and hope you find our paradise as fulfilling as we do. As with many of the homes in Panama our home has been crafted with Panamanian architecture and techniques, including a colonial style and locally crafted wood windows, doors and clay roof. BTW, if you love the art you see in the home, it’s for sale and proceeds go directly to the local artists in the area.

Getting to know the Azuero Peninsula

Besides the award-winning surf beaches, we moved to Pedasi for the small town feel with great amenities. Pedasi is one of those places where everyone says hi and time is just merely a suggestion. Whether it’s shopping, eating or exploring, the Azuero Peninsula has something for everyone. Check out the Guide Book for more suggestions.
