Outstanding Stay/Amazing Tranquil Spot

A group of us (3x couples, 6 in total) stayed here from a Wed-Sun. Absolutely impressed with the property. Each room was very clean, comfortable beds with quality linens, high quality kitchen amenities, beach towels, chairs, and cooler provided, Heated pool was very clean (a couple leaves, but hey, its Florida!), extra bathroom near the pool/garage for convenience. Short drive to downtown, and to Siesta Key, but a quiet and safe neighborhood. Looking forward to staying here again in the near future.

Pool was dirty the entire time

The pool was filthy, no electrical outlets in downstairs bathroom, 3rd bathroom in the garage, where is was hot. TV in Master upstairs did not work. And no TVs in lower 2 bedrooms.

Hi, Julie, sorry that you had a bad experience. We replace tvs on the regular if they break, because it is common. The pool gets maintained more than once a week if needed and people can contact us if they find something wrong with the pool, but i can assure our guests that the chemicals are always checked and the pool gets cleaned out, most guests give us compliments on the pool

Nice Property, Poor Management

We chose this house largely because of the pool. Unfortunately, the pool turned green while we were there. I notified the property manager who essentially blamed me because I didn't tell them about the pool turning green until near the end of our trip. It is not the guest's responsibility to maintain amenities like pools. Additional problems: Multiple lights not working or missing light bulbs, pool also had debris in it, lots of junk outside of the house, one electrical outlet had no cover on it, frayed metal wires on the steps and a door knob was unsecured and kept falling off.

We are sorry your stay was not up to our usual standards. A couple items to clarify, Yes it is not the responsibility of the guests to maintain the pool however if something is not operating correctly, like the pool turning green, a simple communication to us would have solved that right away( not on Sunday afternoon night before you are leaving). Same with the debris. After the recent hurricanes, I am sure you saw the mountains of tree limbs around the area waiting to be picked up and now we are having more than usual leaves being blown around creating a mess. Perhaps in your future stayings, if you notice something not quite right, please reach out to the managers so they can take appropriate action in a timely manner. Thank you for bringing our attention to the other items and those will be attended to.
