Axalp adventure

We enjoyed our stay very much! The views are amazing in Axalp. The road up to Axalp was a single lane road that was winding and steep. The village was very quite during our stay. We felt like we had the mountain top to ourselves.

Spectacular beauty!

Our family really enjoyed our 5 days in Axalp, hard to imagine a better setting. Apartment was perfect, had everything we needed, spotless, great for exploring area. Incredible walks in the mountain. Only wish we had more time, hopefully next time! Thanks Wyler family!

Great little mountain getaway!

We enjoyed a wonderful few days staying in the apartment in Axalp. A lovely little place which suited our family, with our three children sleeping in the loft bed together and just enough space for us to be able to relax and enjoy Switzerland. The owner was incredibly attentive and answered all of our questions efficiently before and during our stay. This is a stunning area and we would have liked to stay longer to continue to explore the local vicinity. Would highly recommend this property!

This is a cozy, comfortable and beautiful little chalet up a breathtaking mountain. The views are amazing and hearing the cow bells all throughout the day and night is in my opinion so heartwarming. On your first drive up the mountain it is a little uneasy, but people are very friendly and there are places to pull over. By the time you leave you’ll be a pro! There is a cute restaurant about halfway up that looks very charming, however we never made it there. It was always busy though. The owners of this lovely home have provided almost everything you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed shopping each day in Brienz, a town at the bottom of the mountain, and coming back and making our dinner and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. The nearby Geissbach Hotel and falls are worth the trip and stunning. Axalp is such a cute, quaint little village. The night sky is gorgeous! This home comes with garage parking and Lilo, the host communicates very well and quickly. She anticipates your every need! We think if you stay here, we hope you will feel relaxed, happy and blessed, as we did. I’ll miss the cows the most.

Nice accommodation in a quiet location

I can recommend this apartment for those who want to explore the surrounding countryside and don't mind a secluded, quiet place. A car is a must. There are very few buses here. About 15 minutes drive is the town of Brienz, which is a perfect starting point for trips to the surrounding area (I recommend buying the Berner Oberland Pass). On the way there and back you will improve your driving skills on a narrow road :-) The apartment itself was very clean and sufficiently equipped. Covered garage parking is available. We didn't have to deal with any problems during the stay. Panorama view is really fantastic!

Summer 2024 at Axalp

The property was beautifully presented and had amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The beds were very comfortable which is perfect after a day waking ihn the mountains or swimming at Brienzersee. There is so much to do in the surrounding area that we couldn't manage all of it but the cable car trips from Lauterbrunnen and Kandersteg were wonderful and we also enjoyed visiting Luzerne and Bern. The drive up to Axalp did take 20 mins each way (lots of pulling in to let vehicles pass) and was not something we felt comfortable attempting in the dark. However, the village is so beautiful and the views every morning and evening from the decking were worth the climb! We would thoroughly recommend a stay here. The host was amazing and responded very promptly to a couple of questions on arrival.

Die Wohnung war wirklich sehr schön und auch der Ausblick war fantastisch. Im Grunde hat es uns an nichts gefehlt! Es waren nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die man vielleicht noch verbessern könnte, wie z.B. ein zweiter kleiner Spiegel, Fliegengitter (v.a. an der Terrassentür) oder Trinkgläser in „normaler“ Größe. An sich hat uns der Aufenthalt jedoch sehr gut gefallen und wir waren zufrieden :)

Jederzeit gerne wieder

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es war alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit vielen Details versehen. Die Lage ist ideal. Wir konnten direkt von der Wohnung aus loswandern oder mit dem Auto die nahegelegenen unzähligen Möglichkeiten gut und schnell erreichen. Die Gastgeberin Frau Wyler war sehr freundlich und hat bei Fragen sehr schnell geantwortet. Rundum Top.

Super ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in Axalp und haben die Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit der Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Frau Lilo Wyler ist eine herzliche und zuverlässige Vermieterin.

Sommerwanderurlaub in traumhafter schweizer Bergwelt

Guten Tag zusammen, die Wohnung der Fa. Wyler ist sehr schön, sauber und umfangreich eingerichteten. Innerhalb der Wohnung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Frau Wyler war sehr angenehm und wir wurden von Ihr sehr gut beraten. Lage ist im Sommer schön, da man auf der Terrasse bei schönem Panorama frühstücken kann. Die Wohnung ist ein exzellenter Starkpunkt für wanderbegeisterte Bergfreunde, um den Hausberg "Axalp", den Bergsee "Hinterburgseeli" oder das Panorama des "Bachsee" zu genießen. Zu vermerken ist, dass es aktuell keine E-Auto-Lademöglichkeit vom Vermieter direkt an der Wohnung vorhanden ist. Jedoch wurden wir auch hier schnell und gute von Frau Wyler beraten. Rundum ist das Erlebnis nur zu empfehlen. Grüße aus Deutschland.

Urlaub Berner Oberland

Unsere Urlaubswoche war sehr entspannend und erholsam. Von der Ferienwohnung aus hat man viele Möglichkeiten für Wandertouren und Ausflüge. Die Fewo ist schick eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sehr nette Vermieter und reibungslose Kommunikation. Sehr zu empfehlen.
