Perfect for families with small children or adults requiring more accessible lodgings. A fully furnished kitchen provides all the chef-ware you could need. Spacious, modern, and cozy, this sunny beach condo is paradise - at the end of the day, relish the golden sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico on your private balcony.

It is the best vacation destination for the family, golfer, shopper or fisherman. There are no high rises in sight, as nothing over 7 stories is allowed on Okaloosa. Because this building has a mere 24 units, and plenty of waterfront, the white beaches and the teal Gulf waters are never crowded, making it simply paradise! Many people say that these are the most beautiful beaches that they have ever seen.

Only steps away from the sand, this unit offers Complimentary Beach service (two chairs and an umbrella per unit, extra seating available for reasonable fee) from March 1st to October 31st.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this condo, because of the location being right at the beach and it was pet friendly. There are some pros and cons. First we will start with pros, easy beach access! The ground level with kids and a dog was also great. However the cons, the condo didn't stay cool. There were zero games for us to play during the evenings. Zero grass for our dog. We had to walk the dog across the street. The hot water wasn't hot, just warm. Nothing in the binder on the counter for suggestions to eat or activities for the kids. No water toys for the kids to play with. It was also not disclosed that no pets are allowed on the beach. It was disappointing not being able to include our dog on the beach. We will be visiting Destin again, just not this particular condo.

Very nice property, clean condo, plenty of bath towels for our family.Could use a ceiling fan in main room. Map of rooms could be posted instead of having to hunt for the room. Never found anything about laundry

Condo has been updated. Kitchen well appointed. Plenty of plugs and chargers. A sofa cover provided if you have a pet-very nice. Very comfortable Good access to the beach and close to restaurants. The only complaint is the master bed frame has a point that I ran into going to the bathroom at night. The condo allows dogs but the complex is not dog friendly. There is no good place to walk your dog. Management was great to work with. Appreciated the chairs provided on the beach. Would stay again.

Clean, right on the beach. Washer/Dryer was not in unit, not sure where they were, i think it was coin operated. Dogs were not allowed on the grass or the beach(had to walk maybe 200ft from our room which it was clear skys so not bad for us.) there was a dog beach maybe 3ish miles from us so we took our pet there. Had a blast. There was a cute book store down the road. The Book Rack all in all i liked this place. It was cute. And they had complementary umbrella and 2 chairs.

The issue we had was the construction going on for 2 days. High fumes and very loud noises. Our car got very dirty and a scratch on the driver’s side of the car. One night there were very loud people out at the pool until 2am right outside the unit. Informed the lady there. We love the location was disappointed was not informed of construction before checking in.

Great place right on the beach

My family and I (4 in total) had a great stay here. The location is perfect to just walk right out to the beach. The AC worked great even in June. I will consider staying here again if I come back to Ft Walton. Host was great the one time I needed to call.

Fun stay

The condo was nice and the owners had quite a few board games and toys available. Having the beach chair service was excellent as we didn’t have so much to drag with us and the distance to the beach was so short. It was great.

Perfect getaway

Absolutely perfect. We had everything we could have needed. The pool was feet from our door. It was never crowded. The beach was a one minute walk from our door. The place was clean and beaitiful. I love the tranquil colors.

The Aqua Villa equipment on site needs to be updated. The coin laundry machines are terrible, only half of them work. The washers will start a load, but not finish. We lost money on them. We would stay again, but the equipment needs updated, since not able to do laundry in a lot of units.

Beautiful beach, great location!

Overall really enjoyed our stay at AV! Price and location cannot be beat! There were a couple of issues that were VERY promptly handled by the Sugar Sands staff. They are very responsive and went out of their way to offer solutions for us. Will stay with them again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is amazing. Open the door and the pool and beach are right there. Loved being on ground floor. Unit was smaller than expected. Remote didn’t work. The table and chairs are too big for the space. No dish soap. 2nd bathroom is not connected to the master- which is hard to tell by pics. Tons of pool/ beach supplies- nice area to store them. Bathrooms needed updated, whole property needs a good power wash, fresh paint, touched up. Outside grill area needs a lot of help. But everyone was amazingly friendly. Property manager very sweet. Overall had a wonderful time but property needs updated. Won’t pick this specific unit again....maybe a different unit. It’s okay but can find better for equal price or less.
