Great property! Plenty of rooms/beds and space. Home is very well maintained. The game room with ping pong and basketball was so fun! The lake is beautiful, would love to stay again in the summer when we can enjoy that more! Fire pit, and corn hole game added to the outdoor fun. Location is awesome, so many fun things to do nearby!

We loved staying at this house. It had plenty of room for 8 of us and loved everything it had to offer. The location was great. Close to so many things. Outstanding venue for large family lake vacation!

Loon cottage is the perfect location for a large group wanting a lake getaway. The large beautiful yard is perfect for games and bonfires. It's located on a great area of the lake that is also very convenient to Elk Rapids and Traverse City. The inside of the cottage is setup to be very comfortable and has a game room on the lower level. The host was incredibly responsive. Our group had a perfect vacation here and we highly recommend it.

This was a family get together. The location and home exceeded our expectations. From the easy check in to all the amenities available we were very pleased. We enjoyed the provided kayaks and paddle boards. The fire pit got plenty of use. Everything we needed, except maybe a better wine opener. The accommodations made for a perfect week. Thanks Trevor.

Fabulous Family Lake Vacation

My mom/sisters/I rented this home for a week of fun with our kids ranging from 16 months to 16 years - and we had a blast! The yard, lake access, and deck were perfect! We didn't spend much time indoors but the beds were comfy and we were able to make nice meals and watch some Olympics. We also rented a pontoon boat and a lily pad which made spending time on Elk Lake even better.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property! Our family gathered here for a week, and it was the perfect spot for relaxing, swimming, and boating. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a big deck that became our go-to spot for coffee in the morning. The lake was beautiful, the sandy-bottom water was ideal, and we made some of our best memories sitting around the wood firepit together at night. The host was responsive and easy to work with, and everything was exactly as described (if not better). We’d highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun lake vacation—we’d love to come back!
