We spent 6 wonderful days in Vienna, and Hugo's apartment added to our enjoyment. The location is ideal: a quiet non-touristy neighborhood, yet convenient to transportation--we took the tram (two block away) or walked everywhere. Check in was seamless, Hugo's communication and instructions excellent---he was always available to help with our questions. Be sure to take up his recommendations for restaurants and interesting things to see in the neighborhood! The apartment is clean, well stocked, very quiet (we slept with our windows open), airy and light, the bathroom has been remodeled---excellent large shower!---(thought the WC toilet is dated). There was ample storage room to unpack our suit cases, and though there is a dishwasher and washing machine we did not need to use them. We appreciated the dependable, easy to use televisions and internet. The sofa in the living room converts to a bed, thus making the apartment a 2 bedroom. We hope the apartment will be available for a return visit to Vienna. Thank you, Hugo.

Hugo was very helpful and regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well. His suggestions on restaurants were very good.The property was perfect for us as it was out of the high tourist area but within 20 min walk of everything we wanted to see and do.

Charming apartment

My family had a lovely time staying in this charming top floor apartment during our first trip to Vienna. The host was welcoming and left instructions for the apartment and suggestions on local sites and amenities. Our only complaint is that the listing was for 4 people but we incurred extra guest charges for our children. This practice should be more clearly stated up front.

Vienna for Christmas

Vienna is amazing at the holidays. So much culture to choose from and the festive Christmas Markets are must to experience. Our host Hugo was extremely responsive and kind. Would highly recommend!

Die Ferienwohnung ist wie abgebildet und beschrieben und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist wunderschön. Einzig die Beschreibung von zwei Schlafzimmern ist etwas irreführend, da es ein Schlafzimmer und ein weiteres Wohnzimmer mit einer AusziehCouch sind

Overall, the apartment is very nice and well appointed. It is a one bedroom, however, not a three bedroom. There are three rooms and a full kitchen and everything worked very well. The owner is easy to contact via phone or text.

Perfekte Lage, um Wien zu erkunden

Die Lage ist ausgesprochen schön in einem Altbauwohngebiet, sehr ruhig und doch sehr zentral in einem sehr charmanten Viertel von Wien mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf. Besonders hilfreich waren die persönlichen und detaillierten Hinweise des Vermieters für die Umgebung, zum Parken, und Tipps für Restaurants. Der Zugang zur Wohnung war völlig problemlos. Der Aufzug war am Abreisetag defekt, ansonsten aber sehr zweckmässig für die Lage im 4. Stock. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Die Klimaanlage (auf das Wohnzimmer beschränkt) ist effektiv, die Schlafzimmer sind nicht klimatisierbar. Das Badezimmer ist renoviert und zweckmässig sowie komfortabel. Die Toilette ist in einem kleinen separaten Raum, ohne Handwaschbecken. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und die Wohnung ist eine tolle Ausgangsbasis, um Wien zu erkunden.

Harmonischer Aufenthalt in der Harmoniegasse

Die Wohnung liegt fußläufig zum Zentrum und ist total ruhig. Der Balkon ist geräumig, die Küche gut ausgestattet, die Zimmer zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Ich werde wiederkommen und kann diese Wohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank! V

Great location and host

The property is in an old building that is ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is very close to a Tram station and restaurants. It is really a large one bedroom but it does have a pullout couch in the spacious living room where the main TV is located. The TV has ample channel availability for English news, CNN, BBC etc The kitchen had everything one could need to prepare full meals, with the exception of a microwave. The host, Hugo, was very responsive and had a simple entry procedure worked out with printed house rules left on the table. There was a cupboard filled with tourist info and map and a nice dining room is ideal for four. There is ample closet space and storage. The shower was modern and good. As the place is old it came equipped with authentic squeaky floors that took me back to my youth. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Nah an Wien

Die Lage der Wohnung ist super, mit der nahegelegenen Straßenbahn kommt man total schnell ins Zentrum. Auch im Wohnviertel gibt es viele schöne Alternativen um Essen zu gehen und nach einem Blick zur Donau einen schönen Spaziergang nach Hause zu nehmen. Der Vermieter ist äußerst hilfsbereit, für alle Fragen erreichbar und sehr, sehr nett. Alles in allem hat uns dieser Aufenthalt in Wien durch die zentral gelegene Wohnung eine wunderschöne Zeit beschert.

Convenient Location, Nice Apartment

Everything was as promised. Apartment is very nice and conveniently located close to trams buses in Metro. I’m not sure how we were supposed to get into the building the very first time. Note: vrbo replaces app names with ——————. You need to be on WhatsApp to get check in instructions.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem sehr schönen Viertel und entspricht den Angaben. In der Nähe sin Cafes, Restaurants, ein Bäcker und ein Supermarkt. Die Straßenbahn D (direkt um die Ecke) fährt zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Mankann aber auch fußläufig den Stefansdom, das Parlament, die Hofburg usw. erreichen. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Wien.

Top Unterkunft

Hervorragende, zentrumsnahe Unterkunft mit sehr guter Strassenbahnanbindung zur Innenstadt und zum Bahnhof. Umgebung mit sehr vielen Lokalen und Geschäften. Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt, es fehlt an nichts. Bei Bedarf freundlicher telefonischer Kontakt zum Vermieter.

Christmas in Vienna

The owner, Hugo made our stay very enjoyable. He was easy to get a hold of and was very detailed in describing how to enter the apartment. He also gave excellent recommendations on places to eat nearby. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. My only negative comment is that the master bedroom is designed for midgets as the overhead lights hang very low and you constantly bump your head on them if you're taller than 5 foot. The apartment is conveniently located near the D metro stop.

Nice spot in Vienna-listing needs updating though

Comfortable and accessible apartment in a great neighborhood close to public transport, great restaurants and the gem of the Sigmund Freud museum. Owner Hugo was responsive and helpful. Listing was misleading- it is really a one bedroom with the option of converting the living room to a bedroom. The listing says sleeps 4, which was the size of my party, but I got charged for extra guest fee for 2 additional guests, as, according to the host, the rates shown on the listing are for 2 guests. I double checked the listing before posting this review and just see "maximum 4 guests", no mention of additional guest fee if over 2 guests are staying. Definitely not clear. However, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property.

Eine komplette Wohnung im Zentrum Wiens

Die Wohnung liegt außerordentlich günstig in einem dicht verbauten Gebiet und dennoch außerordentlich ruhig von der Terrasse aus hat man einen schönen Blick über die Dächer Wiens. ich kann diese Ferienwohnung nur weiterempfehlen Punkt sie ist durchaus auch für vier Personen, bzw für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern geeignet Punkt man hat schon voll ausgestatteter Küche bis zu einem großen gemütlichen essplatz alles was man braucht.

Our "Vienna Home"

We rented this property for the entire month of May, 2022. We very much enjoyed our stay. Hugo is a great property manager. He was easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay. He responded to questions promptly. He also gave great advice and suggestions. The property is located in a wonderful neighborhood. Restaurants, a grocery store and other necessary establishments are within a short walking distance. The D tram is within a two minute walk and took us almost everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was clean and very comfortable for the two of us, as well as when we had two friends visit for a week. The kitchen is well stocked. All in all we thought the apartment was a very good value for the price. This was the first time that we rented through Vrbo. We plan to do it again!
