great location!

This property had it all - the tram line just outside the door, near Salm Restaurant and Brewery, a couple of blocks from the botanical garden and a few steps to a grocery store. We were able to catch the tram for 2 euros to the historic center to listen to incredible music, shop great shops and eat fantastic food.The kitchen was functional and was the better stocked with dishes and pans and had a clothes washer. The host made time to go over everything with us when we checked in, which was very helpful and he even called a cab for us to catch our train.

Great location for quickly reaching most attractions by tram or Metro.

Great location and a responsive host. The apartment is simple with only basic amenities but served our purpose.

Lovely two night stay

My friend and I were traveling in Vienna for the first time and the apartment provide the perfect location for us to see the city with ease and rest comfortably at the end of the day. It was very spacious and the AirCon was a huge help for the very hot summer days. The hosts were also very communicative and helpful throughout our time.

Great location and comfortable apartment

The apartment was located next to the tram and train line which makes it so easy to get around Vienna. The apartment was very comfortable for my family of 4. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mani for our stay.

Bright and spacious

The property had the best of old world charm and modern updates. It was clean, spacious, and the check in was very smooth. It was a straightforward walk to the city center and very close to Belvadere Palace and train station.

Great place to stay

Exactly as described, great location next to amenties and for Central Vienna and very easy transfer from the airport via train. Excellant apartment. Wonderful host, who made arrival meet and greet so easy. Would definately stay here again. Thank you Mani!

Fantastic location and spacious apartment.

This property is very comfortable and was very easy to get to, from the airport. The apartment itself is spacious, it it very clean and comfortable. The walking distance to major sites makes it an ideal property. I will definitely be renting this apartment for my next trip to Vienna.

Fabulous stay in Landstraße!

We were thrilled with the location and the many options available for dining, easy transportation, and moderate walking to famous Vienna sights. The flat was clean and convenient, and it perfectly suited our needs. We were happy that there was air conditioning, as the weather was unusually warm. Would stay here again!

The location and the roominess were fantastic. The furniture and utensils were very minimalistic e.g. no drawers to hang close. We enjoyed out stay .

Vienna Stay

Lovely place in convenient location right next to U train station (easy city trains and central railway station access). Spacious, clean, comfortable, newer fixtures. Could use more towels and linens, but we managed.

Super convenient apt for touring Vienna!

We enjoyed Mani’s apt very much. Very comfortable and convenient Tram right outside, Lidl around the corner, everything you need. Very quiet with windows closed at night. A/C appreciated on warm night. This is a wonderful base for seeing Vienna!

4th Time in Vienna

This was our 2nd time staying in this apt. Everything was wonderful! Thanks for being so flexible & patient with the Americans. We are a bit much sometimes. Location, location, location everything you need is steps away.

Lovely place close to trams and trains to the city centre

We had a wonderful time, mani was so helpful befire and during the stay. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The 10pm quiet time really is a thing in Austria so between 10pm and 7am you need to be quiet and we did get asked to be quiet as we were chatting and laughing later than 10. Please consider this if you are wanting to stay in the appartment in the evenings. We had a fab stay though and it was so easy to walk outside and get a tram to the christmas markets x

Location Great!

This apartment was perfectly located, central to so much; close to the train station, restaurants, tram stops, etc. it was slightly hard to find as the main entrance is left of a store entrance. The apartment itself was furnished with what we needed. Mani was very accommodating & responsive. The apartment is in a residential building so we were informed to keep noise level down so as to not generate complaints. We were so tired at the end of the day that that was fine by us. I like the separate toilet room from the shower room. That was super helpful for a family with 3 teen girls.

Mixed Review

The location was good. The beds were not comfortable at all. There were only 3 thin towels for 3 women. There was trouble with hot water (often cold). The flat was advertised with two bathrooms but in reality there is only 1 toilet in the powder room, and the shower room has no toilet. Kitchen was sparse. Could have used an iron and microwave. There was almost no soap in the kitchen and there were dirty dishes left.

Friends visit Bienna

The apartment was in a quiet neighbourhood, close to grocery stores, restaurants and public transportation. It was very clean and Mani was helpful in providing us with information about the city. The kitchen was adequately equipped. We were 4 adults expecting a 2 bedroom apartment (since the ad says there are 2 bedrooms) but we found beds were set up in the living room as the 2nd bedroom. The apt would be excellent for 2 or 3 people but we found it a bit cramped for 4 adults.

Vienna stay

The apartment was in a great location, walking distance from the Belvedere. Its on the 4th floor but there is a small elevator. The owner is very responsive. The only negative was that we were reprimanded for being noisy, raising some sort of decibel level in the building, when all we were doing was talking! That was a surprise, maybe the owner should mention this aspect in the listing.

Good location. Easy access to transportation.

Apartment location is very good – close to Wien Hauptbahnhof train station and also pretty close to the town center. Apartment is very spacious and clean. However, the bedding could use some updating. Bare minimum for blankets and bath towels. Be prepared to buy toilet paper and paper towels. The 5th person bed (foldable futon) was very uncomfortable. Maybe a mattress pad might be helpful. Plastic covered the tables which added to the bare furnishings. Something that made us a bit uncomfortable was paying 75% of the rent in cash at the apartment. Also, you will be asked to allow pictures to be taken of your credit card and passport. We've never had to do that before. Mani met us and showed us the essentials. He gave us helpful information. Location is ideal and many stores are within a minute or two walk.

Mixed experience

The location of the apartment is very convenient to grocery, and public transportation. The apartment was very clean and the bathroom is nicely updated. However, the apartment is very sparsely furnished. We were only given one towel each for example and I missed having a table or a chest of drawers in the bedrooms. I found my stay there without much comfort. After a day of sightseeing I did not enjoy being back in the apartment. Mani, the owner was very courteous, however I was extremely put out when five days before our arrival I received an email that said our booking was canceled. When I emailed the owner he told me that he required the remainder of the deposit in cash. This was extremely inconvenient and added unnecessary stress during my vacation. I would not rent from this gentleman again because of these reasons.

Great location and value but would hesitate to recommend

Very well located with easy access to transport, grocery, restaurants, etc. A very good value for the price per night given the central location. Host was very responsive and helpful with our questions. Hesitation to recommend is based on a few things. Check in is 3pm and requests to check in or leave bags early was not allowed. All other places we have stayed have allowed us to drop bags and manage the red eye day without toting bags. There was no dryer as suggested, just a drying rack. The air conditioning is limited to the bedrooms, so the front sitting room was not cooled. Hot water for showers was limited, with no hot water on our check out day. There are not 2 bathrooms as indicated. There is one bathroom that has been located in 2 rooms. Toilet in one room, sinks and bath/shower in the other. Because of the low price you have to understand that you are going to settle and not have many niceties or comforts. One small towel per guest. Furniture, including beds that you accept and make the best of and it does not all match what is in the photos. No facial tissues or napkins, or paper towels. So, if you are renting an apartment to have a working kitchen and a place to relax and spend some time at the end of a day, this is not the right place. If you want an affordable, well located, alternative to a hotel with limited luxury and a late check in, this is the place for you.

Einfache Einrichtung, Lage unschlagbar

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist fantastisch: man kommt schnell überall hin, ob S- oder Straßenbahn. Auch mit Kind war es mit Aufzug und ebenerdigem Hinterausgang gut erreichbar. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist spartanisch und alles etwas abgenutzt. Die Hygiene war okay: vor allem das Geschirr musste definitiv nochmal gespült werden vor dem ersten Nutzen, Krümel im Wohnzimmer an allen unverrückten Möbeln und die Fliesen im Bad sind definitiv schon länger nicht mehr geputzt worden. Der Kontakt war aber freundlich und unkompliziert.

For instance, both the Belvedere and the Hundertwasserhaus are located here, as are the Rochusmarkt, the shopping street Landstrasse itself, the Stadtpark, and the KustHaus. Furthermore, the 3rd is home to several embassies which makes the district into a very safe one.

-Within walking distance to attractions like Belvedere Palace, Schwarzenbergplatz and the Ring Street.

-You can walk to the Ring within 10 min.

-Tram Nr. 71 takes you to the following attractions: Belvedere, Schwarzenbergplatz, Kärntner Ring, Oper, City Hall
