This cozy home is the perfect getaway for winter fun! One block from the trails, and our small, old mining town is considered the snowbelt of surrounding areas. Located just 10 minutes from Houghton/Hancock area, or go the other way towards Twin Lakes/Lake Superior (Agate Beach/Misery Bay).

Good place for some guys on a snowmobile trip, and we had lots of snow so good sledding. Nice big TV for watching football and whatever. Only ideas for improvement would be to include a picture of exterior of house for reference, and parking with trailers was tough because it snowed so much.

The hosts were very welcoming and even left a gift when they learned that our stay was to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. The house was very clean and was warm and cozy despite the winter weather. We would definitely stay here again

Snowmobile vacation

Everything was great, host was very quick to communicate when we had questions and house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed including parking space and close to the trails.

Great Base Camp.

We visited the U.P. for a reunion with old friends. This was a last minute booking, over the 4th of July week......with a dog. The house was extremely roomy, and had all of the essentials. The location provided a easy drive into Hancock / Houghton, as well as other attractions in the area. We would definitely stay again!

Fabulous MTU Graduation weekend

Thank you Tanya and Nate for allowing us to rent your property so we could attend our son’s graduation from MTU. The house was incredibly clean and accurately represented. We appreciated all of the amenities and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place for our family to enjoy the weekend together. I also appreciate how responsive you were. Thank you again.

Great stay

The property was as described and we really enjoyed being there! Had everything we needed to make meals, close to MTU/Houghton. The owners were very responsive and I really appreciated being able to bring our dogs so my son could visit with them while he stayed with us. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!!

Graduation vacation

We stayed here for our son's graduation from MTU. It was not to far away from Houghton which was nice. Located in a quiet area which was nice as well. Hosts were very nice and when we needed them they were there quickly. I would definitely recommend staying here

Family vacation

This home was very cozy and homey. It was inviting and very spacious. It was perfect for home cooked meals and lots of family time! This home was spaced perfectly between all the busy towns for sight seeing around copper harbor and agate beach. Also a quick trip to the keweenaw bay.

Not far from MTU

We came up to visit our daughter at MTU for Winter Carnival. This home was great for our group...plenty of room (5 bedrooms!), clean and only a short drive to campus! Owners were very responsive. Thanks so much!

Had a great time nice amenities. Good size, appliances worked well. They even met me to give me back a charger I forgot. Would stay again.

Great Snowmobile Trip

We booked here for our annual snowmobile trip to the area and it was great! The owners were very communicative. The drive was plowed for us to fit trucks and trailers. The house was clean and well-kept. We're definitely saving this one for future trips!

although the house is very old -it had a lot of room. There were a few things that needed repair like the light fixture in the small room that fell off and broke part of our grandson's lego tank! The downstairs bathroom could use a curtain. The place was convenient to MTU and parking was fine. We appreciated the fact that our dog could come along. Thank you!
