Welcome to Capeside Cottage! This 3 bed 1 1/2 bath fully equipped home sleeps 6 & is centrally located in La Crosse, about a 10 min walk from UWL. Hixon forest trails, Grandad Bluff, lakes & rivers surround you! If you want to stay in you'll find a game room featuring a foosball table, seating, & TVs. Grill outside & warm up by the fire or eat in-dining room seats 6! Need to get some work done? Office space & Fast WI-FI available! With so much to do you may finding yourself booking another stay!

The house was so lovely and the host was very communicative. The house was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The location was great and the neighborhood was quiet. The house is close to the train tracks, so the beds sometimes shake when a train is going by, but it's only the first time that's surprising We had an absolutely lovely time.

The house was perfect for two adult couples. A third bedroom with single beds is available and would be great for kids. Beds were comfy and the air conditioner had the whole house at an even comfortable temp. More than enough closet space. The kitchen was very well equipped for someone who likes to cook, and I like to cook. The home is essentially on a cul de sac in a nice neighborhood so it is very quiet at night but was still close enough to be convenient to downtown and the Oktoberfest grounds. Grandad's bluff was also very easy to get to and worth the winding drive up. We used the driveway for parking but street parking is an easy option as well.

Graduation Weekend

Stayed over UW-L graduation weekend. Great location close to campus and downtown. Cute little house (and very clean) with a well equipped kitchen.

Wonderfull stay

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this home! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed and more. The location was ideal—quiet yet close to everything. The host was responsive, friendly, and made sure we had a seamless check-in. We would 100% stay here again.

Everything we needed plus a view!

We loved our stay at the cottage! Very clean and fresh smelling. Well equipped kitchen with nice appliances. Appreciated the bathrooms on each level and quality fixtures. Linen and towel closets are well stocked. The game room was fun and living room has comfortable furniture. We sat on the front porch in the mornings with our coffee and enjoyed the view of Granddads Bluff! Loved the convenient location to the bluff for hiking and drove downtown for the shopping and fabulous restaurants and fun bars. We will definitely stay at the Capeside Cottage again!

Great stay in a nice neighborhood

House was clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. Communication with host was good-very quick to respond to any questions or requests. Nice weekend in a quiet neighborhood!

Excellent stay in LaCrosse

Wonderful house in a great location. Amazing bluff views and a short drive to campus. Dan was a great host and his communication and attentiveness to our needs were top notch. Kids loved the game room and never wanted to leave during our stay. If you like to cook, the kitchen was completely stocked and ready for any meal and that was impressive. Would not look for any other house in LaCrosse if we return!

Great home

The rental was well stocked and very comfortable! The bluff views are fantastic from the spacious front porch. The only detractor from our stay was a neighbor lady that is unhappy about a VRBO next door which is not the Owners fault. We moved our conversation inside to the cozy couch and reading chair in the living room.
