This country home has lots of charm and a private, central location in the Hills! Located South of Deadwood on Highway 385, it`s just minutes from Deadwood, the Mickelson Trail, snowmobile trails and the ski areas and only 35 miles to Mt. Rushmore & Crazy Horse.

This 2-level home has 2 living areas, 6 Bedrooms, 3 baths - 3 queen beds, 2 Full size beds and 2 twins, 2 Queen sofa sleepers. The Master Bedroom has a large attached bathroom with shower. The upstairs living area has a spacious, open, living-dining and kitchen area with a full laundry room. The lower living area has an air hockey table and kitchenette area with another full size refrigerator. TV's in both living areas.

Walk out the dining room to the back deck area for a beautiful Black Hills setting, with outdoor Hot Tub, outdoor fire-pit, seating, gas BBQ Grill and large 500 sq. ft. covered deck. You will enjoy total privacy off the 3 decks, watching the deer and turkeys. Ride your ATV`s from the cabin, lots of parking. Two miles off of HWY 385 leading to solitude!

Great property

Loved all the amenities and the location was perfect. I would correct the description to say 6 bedrooms instead of 7 but luckily there was a pullout couch so there was a bed for all of us.

Beautiful Property

There were a couple minor things that could have been better, but overall we really enjoyed the place. We spent a lot of time on the covered deck and the kids used the swings like crazy! We also had couple beautiful evenings to use the fire pit. If you're going to use this property for a larger gathering bring your own silverware and a couple coffee cups 🙂

We enjoyed our stay very much. The fireplace was tricky for us to figure out so our first night was chilly. loved all the extra bedding and the kids loved the cookie at our check in. Would stay again!

Side by side getaway with kids

This property was a great size and layout for our group of 5 adults and 5 kids (ages 3-7). We really enjoyed the extra kitchen/fridge space downstairs, the covered porch, and were pleasantly surprised by the play set and outdoor toys for the kids. We had 2 large SUV’s with trailers and they easily fit into the parking area provided. Also, we found the beds to be clean and comfortable. However, at the time of our stay, the cabin was ready for a deep clean. There were many dead flies on the bedroom windowsills, noticeable dust where larger items would need to be moved (we had to lift the pullout couch downstairs and found quite a bit of food underneath), and the inside of the kitchen drawers/cupboards (along with most of the dishes) needed a good scrub. But the important areas in the home were clean, and we just washed our dishes before using them. Overall, this is a good spot for the family and groups wanting to do some ATVing. We really enjoyed going up Custer Peak, which can be seen from the front door of the cabin!

Good location, needs some tdying up

Enjoyed our stay, though the grill and oven and some of the utensils and dishes needed cleaning. Overall a positive experience. Great location. Very good communications.

Excellent location for northern hills with privacy and lots of room.

The house was clean and well supplied with all our needs. We really enjoyed outdoor porch were all of us could eat and play.

Was great up in the mountains could not ask for morr

We had a group of friends and family and the property was laid out perfectly. Spacious floor plan with everything needed for a great stay. The house was well organized and equipped down to the knives and forks. We will stay again.

Great Stay!

Easy check-in and check-out. Very spacious cabin and secluded from other houses. Loved the location and wasn’t too far from downtown deadwood. Would stay again!

Nice place 2 miles from snowmobile trail.

We had 4 father/son combos and there was plenty of room for everyone. Nice place and good location, had a couple miles in the ditch to get us to the trail.

Black Hills R&R

We loved the property! We're a seniors couple, but this place would be incredible for a 3 generation family vacation.. so much room, inside and out. Lot's of stuff to occupy kids, but still not enough to distract them from enjoying NATURE everywhere! The kitchen is very functional, and well located off of the upstairs living room, with nice views of the mountain woods in every direction. The covered wooden deck is also a wonderful space for a large group to enjoy. Did I mention the incredible meadow valley with a creek as your view at the end of the driveway? Also, the first night we were there, we heard the distinctive bugle-ing call of a big bull elk.. plenty of nature everywhere around. The property is centrally convenient to Deadwood and Lead, and it's a beautiful drive anywhere you go for the other popular nearby attractions, most no more than an hour away. The next time we visit the Black Hills, we will definitely be staying at Midway Meadows.
