We absolutely loved our stay! Matt was super responsive and the house was so cute and perfect for our little Thanksgiving get away. We had everything we needed even when it snowed unexpectedly! We will definitely stay here again!

This cute, clean, well stocked, historic home is within walking distance to Historic Main Street. The hosts are immediately responsive and provided a very nice coffee bar. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

We loved the house. Just a few things but nothing horrible. Mosquitos were bad and had to purchase bug spray. The vent in the living area needs one to fit. Someone's foot fell in it trying to open the blind. Need more plugins for phones, maybe a charging station. Overall, it was beautiful and would stay again.

Holiday get-away to visit family

The house is charming, late 18th century, in a lovely neighborhood. Queen beds only accessible from one side due to being against walls on both levels. Additional towels required search, and limited for kitchen. Listing has occupancy as 7 - but insufficient 3 piece silverware for one full meal for that number, so washing required even if only 4 for 2 meals a day.. Kitchen cookware quite adequate but preparation bowls and storage boxes are limited. Charming holiday decorations, placemats, etc, but using rollaways for 2 would be tight and only space by rearranging living room. Lovely gazebo and patio but this was Christmas week so too cold. Historic St. Charles walkable, but uphill for a couple blocks. One parking spot, but there is street parking too..

Enjoyable stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The landscaping & neighborhood were beautiful! The gazebo was a big plus. The home decor made it a comfortable place to spend time relaxing when not out and about. We did not cook, so have no comments on the kitchen facilities. This is a great home, could use some TLC and outdoor seasonal maintenance. New living room seating would make this rental a 10/10+! Would stay again, and recommend!
