Beekeeper's House

Two story brick colonial. Five bedrooms, 3 full baths, large formal living room, dining room, den, and Florida room. The master bedroom accesses a second story balcony. On the ground floor - there is a queen bed and a full bath with a walk-in shower. The home's builder had two hobbies - Beekeeping and construction. Over the course of his career he built 13 of the homes on Enderly Heights.

Always a dog family we welcome your pets as you visit the colleges, breweries, wineries and the many natural wonders of the greater Buena Vista, Lexington and Rockbridge County area that include Natural Bridge and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The house includes use of the two-car garage and a garage door opener. There are two “smart” TVs, the one in the den is 55” with a subscription to Sling TV, an Apple TV subscription and Disney+. The second TV is in the master bedroom.

COFFEE - when my family travels it is important to know what the coffee situation is - the Beekeeper's House has two coffee makers (drip and a Keurig) as well as a coffee bean grinder.

In 2024 I replaced most of the windows with Pella casement windows and I plan to add security cameras in three areas to the exterior of the house - doorbell cameras on both doors and in the garage. There are no cameras inside the house.

This house is our home away from home! We book it at least once a year, and we love Karen and her family! They are super sweet hosts, and the house is so pet friendly. Our cavalier Sidney thinks of it as home, and she goes straight for her sweet dog bed left by the host in her cubby hole. Honestly, the neighborhood is great, the area has lots to do, and you will not be disappointed!

Perfect for family stays

Fantastic stay!!

A phenomenal stay at a fabulous house- we LOVED staying at the Beekeeper’s House. Cozy, comfortable, lots of details, our host responded quickly and was gracious. A quiet neighborhood, amazing water pressure, very clean, the ambiance is perfect, anything we needed was there. If you can find any available dates to stay, don’t hesitate to book this.

Nicest Home in the Area

We enjoyed our stay at the Beekeeper's House. We were in town for VMI graduation, and the house worked out perfectly for our extended family. The hosts were very flexible with us and that removed a lot of stress. We would definitely recommend this home for a short or long stay in the area.

Wonderful hosts!

We came to the area with seven family members to attend graduation at Washington and Lee. The house is just as described, with all the amenities we needed and more. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood, with shopping nearby. It has lots of sitting areas for socializing, and the bedrooms are spacious, with comfy beds. We would definitely suggest this place, and would stay again!

Wonderful and feels like home!

This home is our home away from home when we come from GA to VA to visit family. They do not make houses like this anymore. We love it! Our pets love it too! Karen is great! Can't wait to return.

Family Wedding at W&L

Beautiful house in a nice neighborhood. Lots of home touches. My wife and I and are 3 adult kids and significant others stayed here. Lots of room and very attentive owner to all our inquiries. If I have another wedding in Lexington we will stay again.
