Tide Mill Cottage - Luxury Home on Nonesuch River

This cozy cottage blends vintage aesthetic, luxury décor, and modern convenience. On a private drive next to a tidal river, the house sits amongst fruit trees and wildlife. The beach is just 5 minutes away! The home is well appointed with all kitchenware and linens. On the first floor, the studio-style layout has one bed that enjoys views of the river. There is a full bath with tile shower and full-size laundry. The second floor loft-style bedroom offers two more beds. We partner with a local activity rental company that can bring you bikes, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and even sailboats! There is also a local surf shop with rentals and lessons available right next door. With an attached garage, the cottage has plenty of room to keep your vacation adventure toys or two cars. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the jetport, historic Old Port, fun Old Orchard Beach, and seven additional public beaches, this is a fantastic home base for your Vacationland getaway!

The whimsical river cottage was beautiful! My family of 4 enjoyed our vacation in Maine in this cozy place away from home. The amenities were amazing, from snacks for the beach to shampoo and other random things. Gardens and sunsets were awesome too!! Nice to see 2 deer in the back yard one night.

From our daughter who stayed at the cottage - What a lovely, cozy and well-kept secret!! Great location, gracious hostess and the best decorated cottage per square inch that I have ever seen. All the Maine vibes and fully stocked and comfortable with everything you need. Love yjr peaceful setting, downstairs nook for the bed and the upstairs loft. So nice to have a washer/dryer available. Great place! Zoe

Relaxing Location

It was a perfect location away from all the busyness of the summer. Quiet little cottage which had everything you need to relax. You can get to the beach within minutes. You can get to Portland and other cities within minutes too. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Charming and Cozy

After arriving at the home, we spent the first half hour marveling at how enchanting it was. The environment was such a peaceful and wonderful escape from everyday life, and yet it was a short drive from nearby beaches and conveniences. Highly recommend.

As Stephon from SNL says, "This place has it all... "hair dryer, curling iron, fancy shampoo, CONDITIONER, ladies! Conditioner! Q-tips, toothpaste, Laundry detergent AND softener AND dryer sheets. Seriously, just pack your clothes, (but leave room because you know you're going to LL Bean at some point). We are pretty sure this place was either featured on Home Edit or very, very inspired by the show because everything is neatly organized and labeled. There is a full bar with accessories to make any mixologist feel at home. There are books, including kids books, to learn about Maine! Our favorite finds were in the garage: the wagon to cart your kids around, beach chairs, beach toys and games, beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen, a lantern, a kids lantern(!) all were above and beyond and super helpful. The wagon was a lifesaver when we went on the ferry one day. Frank was super helpful and always fast to respond. We asked him for restaurant recommendations and I highly suggest you do this if you stay here. The places he sent us to were top notch and I'm still dreaming about the food. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic Cottage

We had a lovely week vacation in Maine. The accommodations we fantastic. The cottage is just like it’s pictures. What I did see on the listing was that I didn’t need to bring anything for the beach accept my kids. The owners had everything from a Yeti cooler, beach wagon, and toys. The cottage was so lovely and cute. Can’t wait to go back to Maine.

Quaint New England cottage

Wonderfully comfortable cottage in a picture perfect private location. Whimsically adorned with a nautical and Alice in Wonderland design. We liked the thought given to the high end amenities that complimented our stay. Thank you to the property management that made everything easy for us.

Exceeded Expectations!

We had a great experience staying here. The location is beautiful and private, the house was clean and had everything we could ask, and the property manager and owner were incredibly accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again!
