Incredible views, great location

Ariane's flat must have one of the best views in Llanes, and a room full of windows to enjoy them from. Such a sweet spot, and such a wonderful town. We enjoyed every minute.

Beautiful location - we would do it all over again

Llanes is a beautiful town between the mountains and the sea. Great views and food. Lots of outdoor adventure and relaxation. The flat was clean and the views overlooking the harbor are incredible. It's noisy because you are in the center of things and you will want the windows open (sea breeze). We used our phones for white noise and it was fine. Only challenge: no Wifi. Beaches are beautiful...dream vacation.

A week in Llanes

Ariana’s apartment in Llanes was our base for a week as we explored the local hiking and archeological sites on this part of the north coast. We highly recommend this rental. The apartment is very comfortable with great views of boats, the town and the harbor. We easily walked to dinner or lunch in 5 minutes or less. Llanes has an interesting quiet old town section, but most of the social action takes place near the harbor. People enjoy the town’s bars and restaurants late into the night, but the apartment has excellent windows that shut out most of the noises from the outside if that is what you want. The apartment is up two flights of beautiful stone stairs. We worried a bit about parking but never failed to find a spot in the very nearby neighborhood. One tip for parking is to rent a small car! We were able to park in places where a larger vehicle would never fit. Around Llanes is some awesome hiking. Get the AllTrails application for your phone and explore the Picos de Europa National Park, or the even closer limestone peaks that can be seen from the apartment. There are a so many trails, and the birding is good. Two must see archeology sites include Altamira and Tito Bustillo Cave. The latter involves walking through dimly lit cave passages with a guide but the main panel of art is worth it. If you are not sure of your walking skills don’t go there. There are so many places to dine in Llanes it is hard to make a recommendation. Two places we visited often was the Gallofa & Co bakery and the Mexican restaurant El Chibiski.

La ubicación es fantástica, pero No dispone de ascensor y son 3 pisos ( no se indica), los colchones y los sofás del salón son muy viejos. La tv es pequeña y no tiene internet. Se paga por ubicación pero no por comodidad.

Great apartment in centre of Llanes.

I thoroughly recommend staying in this apartment. We are two adults and three grown-up kids and had plenty of room. The apartment has excellent views of the harbour as seen in the advertisement. The centre of Llanes with numerous bars and restaurants is 5 minutes walk and there are very good restaurants event closer. Communications with Ariane were very good prior to arrival and we had no difficulties finding the place and getting the keys. Ariane had good advice about how to find parking. it *is* sometimes difficult to park but we managed to find a space within 2 minutes walk every evening we came back (this was in late August), although sometimes we needed to drive round the block a couple of times. There are nearby supermarkets and the centre of LLanes has a bakery (on Plaza de San Roque) where we bought breakfast every day. The Picos are nearby and we did quite a bit of walking in the mountains which are beautiful. If we come to Llanes again we'd definitely stay in the same apartment. I can think of no better location,

Fantastic stay in Llanes...

A big thank you to Ariane for such a wonderful stay. Having never visited the area before, Ariane was in touch in the weeks leading up to our holiday offering recommendations for beaches, restaurants and things to do for the children. She gave us directions to the apartment which were easy to follow. We really appreciated Ariane's mum for checking us in so late on our first day, due to a delayed ferry. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped for a family, and the location is superb overlooking the harbour. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family, and would come back to the same accommodation if we visited the area again.

Stunning views

A great apartment in a fantastic position in Llanes with views of the harbour. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Ariane was extremely helpful and prompt with suggestions on what to do while we were there. Parking is tricky in Llanes, with parking near the apartment almost impossible. We'd recommend parking at Playa de Toro where there were nearly always spaces and walking to the apartment which takes about 10 mins. It's a beautiful part of Spain to visit with great beaches and walks. The mountains are a must too. Would definitely recommend.

Great apartment and holiday!

This is a fantastic 3-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms in a great location. The views over the harbour are wonderful and the big windows allow a nice breeze in the room. There are numerous beaches within walking distance, and an amazing selection of bars and restaurants. It is easy to drive to the mountains for beautiful walks. Ariane is very helpful and will provide lots of information. Parking is a bit tricky in the summer, but it's the same everywhere in Llanes, and you soon learn where to park. Overall we had a great time - thank you!

Great Location !

Ariane’s three bedroom apartment on the Llanes harbor is great for a small family. It is very well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals when not dining at the excellent seafood restaurants in town. I would only caution that the lovely French doors cannot be open if there is a toddler present. We loved Llanes and would happily stay in Ariane’s apartment again.

Hemos pasado 10 días en Llanes disfrutando de la ciudad en sí y las inumerables atracciones cercanas, la propiedad está en una excelente ubicación y posee una hermosa vista al puerto. Durante nuestra estancia tuvimos algunos inconvenientes técnicos con algunos electrodomésticos que fueron atendidos y solucionados con gran celeridad en su mayoría. Si bien la propiedad se anuncia con estacionamiento disponible en la zona ha sido un verdadero desafío encontrar lugares disponibles siendo por momentos tarea imposible lo cual es entendible teniendo en cuenta que la ubicación es privilegiada.

Stay in Llanes

Llanes is a beautiful little place to spend a holiday. It is perfectly located between several nice beaches, a good starting point to do some hiking in the nearby natural park/mountains and not too far from Santander or Bilbao. Our host has been very friendly and helpful which makes our stay unforgettable.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Great, central location. Quiet, spotlessly clean apartment which felt safe for our 3 year old son. Ariane replied quickly to any questions we had and made our stay stress-free. Highly recommended!

Stunning views and central in this lively town

We enjoyed our stay here, the views over the harbour, town and far mountains were fantastic. Its a comfortable apartment with lots of space and the two bathrooms were a bonus. There are lots of bars and restaurants locally and just over the bridge there are even more! We enjoy walking and straight from the apartment you can walk along the coast in either direction for as long as you want, or your legs last out!

Elegir este apartamento fue muy buena elección, no solo por la localización (en pleno puerto de Llanes) sino por lo cómodo y bien equipado que estaba. Además, tanto Ariane, la dueña, como Isabel, quien nos entregó las llaves, fueron muy amables y atentas. Sin duda recomiendo el apartamento para las vacaciones en Asturias.

One part of my family come from Llanes. A tradicional family, that lend the name to streets and buildings.
Since I was a kid I visit this region und love it. I`m fascinate from the nature, beaches, festiveness and the regional cuisine.

この宿泊施設の特徴

My mom told me that this part of the town where the apartment is, was former the fisherman district where they put the anchovies in tins to conserve them.
The flat is central and near supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bars and points of interest. In the city center near the church is the historic city wall. Outside the city there is a nice climbing parc and trails at the coast and in the mountains (Picos de Europa). Canoeing in the rivers near Llanes is a great adventure. This region is famous because of the nature.
The beaches are very close. 5 minutes the first beach and many others only a few minutes further.
