This beautiful home is perfectly located for your stay in the Valley of the Sun. PHX Retreat is just minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, downtown Phoenix, and Arcadia neighborhoods. PHX Retreat is also located in close proximity to multiple highways, so you will have a quick drive to Scottsdale, Tempe, Spring Training Venues, GCU, and any other destinations you are looking to explore. The quiet residential neighborhood is the perfect escape after a day of exploring.

This home is located in a historic neighborhood with many homes dating from the 1930`s, This home was built in 2015 and tucked away in the back of the property. You`ll find a peaceful shaded common space offering lounge chairs, a dining table, casual seating and a grill.

The unique key code will give unassisted entry to the unit via a smart lock. Ample street parking is available.

Checkin and checkout is contactless, however host lives locally and can be contacted any time if needed.

This neighborhood has several restaurants and bars within walking distance however a short drive will take you to some of the most highly rated restaurants and best nightlife in Phoenix.

There are two detached homes located on this property (both are vacation rentals). This home is located in the back of the property with walk up access from the driveway. There is ample street parking available, but the driveway is reserved for the front house. The courtyard is a shared common space between both homes.

As a condition of your stay, we require the acknowledgment of a rental agreement within 24 hours of your confirmed booking. You will receive a link to your rental agreement within 5 minutes of your confirmed reservation. If you would like to review this rental agreement prior to completing your reservation, please send us a message and we will gladly send you a copy to review.

This property cannot be used for purposes identified in the City of Phoenix Ordinance Section 10-195(c). The City of Phoenix short-term registration number for this property is STR-2025-000776.

To protect the property, security cameras are located around the exterior facing the following locations: The driveway/ entry way, courtyard, front yard/patio and back alley. These cameras are active at all times.
Quiet Hours 10:00PM-8:00AM. Absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING INSIDE. Feel free to smoke or vape outdoors, but please be courteous to others. $500 minimum cleaning charge for smoking indoors.

Great 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It was in a good location near downtown and the airport. It had a wonderful outdoor space. There were 4 of us and we enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house in a good location

The house was perfect! We loved the decor and everything was in great condition. When we travel we do our own cooking rather than eating out, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The laundry room was also stocked so we could travel back home with clean laundry, rather than a suitcase full of dirty clothes. The unit is newer, situated in a cute little historic neighborhood. It was located near everything we had planned to do while visiting. The property managers were responsive and extremely nice. They went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely book this rental next time we visit!

A True City Oasis

When we go to Phoenix, we usually stay in a bland, bougie resort type hotel. For this trip with our adult offspring for a downtown family wedding, we wanted something different. This immaculate 2 bedroom, 2 bath house was a perfect choice! Beautifully renovated, with old Hollywood artwork this house was a treat to the eyes. Although one block from a busy road and close to a major highway, we never heard traffic noise and the lovely courtyard was a true oasis. It was wonderful to just relax on the comfy patio furniture. The hosts-wow-couldn’t be more attentive, without being intrusive. They gave us restaurant recommendations (Casa Corazon was the best Mexican we’ve ever had!) and made sure our stay went smoothly. We’ll definitely return!

Spacious, attractive, clean 2-bedroom guest house

We very much enjoyed our stay at this guest house and really have only good things to say. It was very clean, spacious, pretty and quiet. The hosts were extremely communicative and responsive to the few questions we had. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Best Vacation Rental Experience Ever

The hosts were so kind, communicative, and courteous. We chose this place due to how nice the photos looked, but was pleasantly surprised to see that the home was even more beautiful and spacious! Will not be looking anywhere else for rentals next time we’re in the Phoenix area

Phoenix Convention

Traveled to Phoenix for the first time ever for a work conference and trade show. Hotels were hard to come by and expensive. This house was PERFECT! Conveniently located, quiet neighborhood, it ticked all the boxes. Would stay again in a heartbeat whether traveling for work or pleasure. Fabulous Home

This property is very clean and well maintained inside and out! Neighborhood is quiet and feels safe, street parking was not an issue. Stylish interior, comfortable beds. Outdoor space is lovely for relaxing. Hosts are easy to reach, attentive, and truly care that you enjoy your stay. I recommend this property and would gladly stay here again!

Awesome 2 bed 2 bath

This great house was just as described! It was clean. The owners were wonderful and very quick to respond. The washer and dryer worked well. The kitchen had most everything you would need to cook, including some oil and lots of spices and seasonings. Plus all the pots and pans were not all non-stick (a plus in my book!). The couch was actually comfortable! This is unlike many VBROs that I have stayed in. It sounds trivial but at the end of a long day it is SO nice to have a comfortable place to sit and relax. I highly recommend this property. The drawbacks? To reach this house you need to walk up the driveway of the front house to reach this one. With a car parked in the driveway if you are wheeling suitcases or carrying groceries it can be a little squeeze getting by. Also I would not recommend this to someone with mobility issues because to get to the house after the driveway you need to go across a patio (which is amazing) but it alternates between pavers and big gravel. It is challenging to wheel suitcases through (but you can divert to the paved patio for most of it) but a wheelchair or walker would be very tricky.

Wonderful Place

Our stay at John’s Phoenix Retreat was comfortable and overall great. The communication and thoughtful touches, like cold water in the fridge upon our arrival were very much appreciated. The home looked clean and was nicely appointed with all the things that inspire relaxation and a feeling of home away from home. The next time we’re in town again, we will definitely check the availability of John’s place first.

Home away from home

It was truly home away from home. Everything was exactly as stated, the host was definitely awesome they was very concerned with how our stay was going, which I really appreciated. They offered to allow us to check-in to the property early due to our early arrival to the state. The neighborhood was very quiet and the unit was nicely decorated and maintained, which made us feel very comfortable. I will most definitely stay again.

Fantastic property and decor! John left nothing out. He even emailed us before our arrival, asking if there were any specific snacks/beverages we would like waiting for us. Dreamy comfortable beds, beautifully appointed amenities. This is the standard to which other properties should be measured. Nothing but 5 stars!
