Saratoga Lake Summer Paradise

My sister and I have enjoyed our parents summer camp for over 30 years. Now that they are in their 80's traveling north has been all but eliminated. We have room for 8 people to sleep in beds ranging from Queen size, two up and one down, to 3 single beds, one up and two on the gorgeous screen porch overlooking the water. We have maintained the house as our parents have and improve the kitchen with new Granite Countertops last fall. All new SS Kitchen Appliances installed May 2022. This fall we added a new MINI Split HVAC system for each bedroom and the entire first floor. Central Air yes Central Heat yes but let's hope you only need to turn the AC on. We hope you enjoy your visit as much as we do. We have 3 Kayaks under the porch and an Aluminum Canoe under the camp also. Some old but effective fishing gear is hanging on the screen porch too for all to enjoy. Life jackets are hanging in shed and other water floats are there too for all to enjoy. Please feel free to use any of it and return all where you found it.

Want convenience? 25 minutes from Albany Airport. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Saratoga and Broadway Ave. Even closer to SPAC and the RACE TRACK. We are minutes off I87 and less than 30 to go visit Lake George or the water parks north of us. There are 10 golf courses with 20 minutes and plenty of hiking to do near by. We have three Kayaks on site and a large Canoe with life jackets for all, although the Canoe may need a sprucing up but that is what the lake is for. There are two Marina's on the water that have Jet Skis/Power Boats available for day or weekly rentals. This is a great location to attend a concert or show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, SPAC, or listen to some incredible live music all week in downtown Saratoga. You can also sit on the porch and enjoy live music on weekends from Doc Brown's, south end of lake, which is a 2 minute drive from our place.

Saratoga Lake is extremely warm early in the season and a great fishing lake right off the dock. You can Kayak to Snake Hill and back within an hour and still enjoy the gorgeous sunrises every morning. We look forward to your interest in relaxing at Saratoga Lake or watching the Horse Races in August or DMB in July. There is alot to do within an hour drive and even hiking Willard Mountain is an option.
