We took our 8 and 13 yr old grandsons on a mountain adventure. This cabin was a great home base. It was a little far from some of the things we did, but it was easy to get to, comfortable, and clean. Clean is a biggie for me. The boys enjoyed exploring around the little creek. We enjoyed knowing other houses were close by, but it still felt private. A great trip!

we loved the house! the location was perfect for exploring western NC! The creek, the forest, and the wildlife surrounding the house are magical. The house was clean and well stocked, the only thing we were missing was coat hangers.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you loved the house and that the location worked perfectly for exploring western NC. It’s always a joy to hear guests enjoy the creek, forest, and wildlife — that setting is what makes this place special. We’re happy the home felt clean and well stocked. About the coat hangers — you’re right, we didn’t have enough, and we’ve already ordered more so future guests won’t run into that. Thank you for pointing it out. We truly appreciate you staying with us and hope you’ll come back for another magical visit!

Very well-appointed and especially family-friendly. The only suggestions would be to provide some hangers (did we miss them?) and coasters for drinks.
