Stop dreaming it, start living it...special summer discounts now active! Despite what you may think, airfare prices a still low, especially for this summer. We offer a 10% discount for 7 night or longer stays, so it's time to escape to Maui! Book ahead, whale season this winter is going fast!

This fully air conditioned, oceanfront 1BR/1BA condo is located on the 7th floor of the Lanai building at the Mahana at Kaanapali. We've just added (5/2026) a new queen sofabed and a power recliner, see the pictures! Relax and enjoy breathtaking ocean views from entire condo, including the king-size bed in the separate bedroom. You will love the central AC, two TVs, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and access to an oceanfront pool, spa, and free parking—with no resort or parking fees.

This entire complex is hotel-zoned, ensuring it will ALWAYS be available for short-term rentals.

Relax to the soothing sounds of the ocean, sleep soundly on crisp cotton sheets and new pillows, and wake up to stunning views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails on the lanai, watching dolphins, turtles, and whales (seasonal). The queen-sized sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping space, so this unit will accommodate up to 4 adults.

We personally manage the condo and offer seamless communication and assistance with local support staff if needed. There are NO hidden fees or extra charges—because you are booking directly with the owners.

The property boasts a pool, spa, and beach just steps away, plus amenities like tennis, pickleball, and shuffleboard. Enjoy BBQs with multiple grill stations downstairs, and a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking, including a Keurig single cup or carafe coffee maker, French press and coffee bean grinder, waffle iron, mixer, and a full spice rack. You’ll find plenty of supplies for your stay, including soaps, laundry products, coffee pods, and more. Dine on your own private lanai, with breathtaking sunset views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. You won't find a better table at any restaurant!

Additional amenities include a new 55” Smart TV and DVD player in living room, and new 43" Smart TV in bedroom, washer/dryer, and for your beach time enjoy the chairs, towels, umbrella, and coolers we provide. You'll find our guest binder with updated recommendations for local dining and activities. Book activities at the Maui Concierge Services desk in the lobby for added convenience.

Our guests consistently give us 10/10 ratings, appreciating our personal touch and attention to detail. By booking directly with us, you’ll know exactly what to expect, unlike booking through a management company. Our condo is frequently updated, ensuring it’s always better than expected—recent guests even bought the same recliner after loving it during their stay!

This condo is perfect for up to 4 adults. Please note, it is not child-friendly (no porta crib available) and the pool is not designed for young children. There is NO SMOKING in this condo, including on the lanai.

This condo is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and welcoming, with tasteful furnishings in excellent condition. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which offered a wide variety of cookware and prep tools, and I was delighted to find cooking spices stocked and ready to use. Jim and Crystal have clearly put a great deal of thought into ensuring guests have everything they need for a most pleasant stay. And the view is absolutely unforgettable.

I can't say enough about this unit and the hosts. The location is perfect, right on the beach and a short walk to the food trucks, Duke's and the cinnamon roll/pizza place. The lanai is spectacular, as is the view from the lanai and rooms; I could have spent the whole week sitting out there reading, and watching the turtles feed in the water below. The room was immaculate, and very comfortable, especially the bed. And the hosts were first rate, promptly responding to all of our questions. It's definitely somewhere I'd want to stay again.

The easiest and shortest way to summarize Crystal and Jim's condo at the Mahana is PERFECT! From start to finish working with Crystal and Jim couldn't have been better, communication was great, response time and information was spot on! The condo itself has everything you'll need and want from A (apple slicer) to Z (zip lock bags). It's very comfortable, actually felt like our home for the week, loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves from the open bedroom slider and on an extremely comfortable bed. I really could go on and on because their place is perfect for any couple, I can't wait to work with them again and stay at their "Home"!Mahalo for everything,Crystal and Jim

This place is amazing! The host has thought of everything to make for a perfect stay, including information and details leading up to our arrival.The condo is true ocean-front: the views are exactly what you dream of. We watched two sea turtles separately lay eggs on the beach from the deck, and we were able to observe many whales breaching from the deck as well.We will definitely stay in this unit on future Maui trips!

Our hosts were amazing. Kept us informed throughout our stay! The condo was beautiful! The kitchen had everything you would ever need while cooking for yourselves. The view from the living room and bedroom was breath taking! Sunsets were inspiring! We have had the opportunity to stay in many condos in Kaanapali in the past, this was by far the best! My husband and I enjoyed watching the turtles in the water below, the whales breach, dolphins and a Hawaiian Monk Seal! The Mahana is a beautiful property and is a simple walk down the boardwalk to Dukes! We will be back!

The host was very welcoming, The property was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was fully stock with everything you need. They provide chairs to go to the beach along with pickleball paddles.

The unit was extremely clean and well equipped. The host was incredibly proactive and responsive. Truly a jaw dropping view from every angle in the unit. Great location with walking distance to a solid grocery store and some cool low key restaurants along with the higher end beachfront restaurants like dukes. Highly recommend and looking forward to staying here sometime again in the future!

Great honeymoon spot

My husband and I stayed for our one year anniversary/honeymoon and had a great time! The condo is clean and well maintained. It’s in a great location and we were able to easily walk to the grocery and other local restaurants. Loved seeing the turtles swim by everyday! Crystal was super responsive as well to any question/concern. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Accommodations and view were absolutely perfect! The condo had everything you could want and more. Just bring your clothes and enjoy!!

Aloha Katie, wow thanks! That's our goal, make your vacation so simple, just bring your clothes! And with the washer/dryer right there in the unit, you don't need many outfits. We visit 2 or 3 times a year, checking everything, replacing if needed, and making sure everything is as promised. We'd love to host you again, we have many "returnees"! Well furnished with everything you could need for your stay. Amazing views! We saw sea turtles swimming from the lanai. Crystal checked in on us on our stay to make sure everything was going well. Windows and lanai face west so you get great sunsets. I highly recommend this property.

We're beyond excited to be the new owners of Mahana at Kaanapali 717! We're from Northern California, have enjoyed many travels thanks to my husband's Naval career, but we've always been drawn to the ocean. For Valentine’s Day 2007 we visited Maui for the 1st time, it was magical! Beaches, snorkeling, the scent of plumeria, the sound of the ocean... it was breathtaking, romantic, and unforgettable. Then it was back home to the mainland where life went on, we continued raising our 3 sons, but we visited Hawaii as often as we could.

Eventually we settled back in Northern California when Jim retired from the Navy. We were blessed to purchase an oceanfront condo on Kauai in 2012. We visited often, renovating and refurbishing each trip. We had great success on vrbo, helping others enjoy Kauai. We then bought an oceanfront studio on Maui in 2015. Fast forward to 2022, we were able to sell both units and purchase our dream condo, Mahana 717.

We average three or four 10-star reviews per month. They're posted directly to our listing by our previous guests. We can't change a word of them, just add our reply. We love being vacation rental owners, love helping our guests enjoy Maui, and always strive to provide the very best customer service.

Imagine the time approaching sunset, the sun is just kissing the horizon, the sky turns pink, then purple and orange, and you're enjoying a mai tai on your oceanfront lanai at Mahana 717...what could be better? Or in the morning, all you're hearing are the birds and the gently lapping waves, and you're sipping coffee on your lanai with two islands in full view. On your right, Molokai is turning ever greener, to your left the island of Lanai is becoming more golden, and it's so peaceful and quiet... We invite you to come enjoy our condo at the Mahana, with spectacular views of the blue Pacific, just steps away from sandy Kaanapali beach. The resort consists of twin towers (717 is on the 7th floor in the south tower, called the Lanai tower) on 5 acres, with beautiful grounds and oceanfront heated pool and spa. You're close to championship golf courses, great restaurants, a food truck park, snorkeling and shopping, situated conveniently between Lahaina and Kapalua.

During the winter months humpback whales migrate to the warmer waters around Hawaii, and they use the ʻAuʻau channel in front of Kaanapali and West Maui as their nursery. ( ʻAuʻau translates "to take a bath," referring to its calm bath-like conditions). They birth their calves there, and instruct them for life out in the open ocean. They can put on a spectacular show, breeching and flipping their tales and flukes, all in view from the 7th floor vantage point of this condo. When you walk in the front door of 717, you're drawn straight ahead to the floor to ceiling windows, and the 180° ocean views from every corner of the condo.
