Spacious basement with brand new kitchen

This country delight is perfect for your family or working home-base. Only about 10 minutes away from Cheyenne, but you may not want to leave! Lots of space to spread out and plenty of spots to come together. Brand new stylish kitchen, huge gas fireplace, and outdoor fire pit (with permission - weather permitting).
This is our family home that we are offering up temporarily. We love living here and know you’ll enjoy it too!

Beautifully updated farm house, with classic charm but modern amenities. 3 bedrooms. A washer and dryer is available for guest use.

The home is located on 10 acres. There is a large parking area with plenty of room for your vehicle(s)

I don't live on site, but we are available between 7am and 10pm. Call anytime for urgent needs.

This is our family home. We’re happy to share it with you, but ask that you treat it with respect and care.

Pets are welcome! We charge a $15/pet per night for a max of $150 per stay. This is charged the day before your arrival. We do ask that you keep all pets off the furniture and keep them crated when you leave the home.

The main floor is being offered separately; please be respectful of any guests and observe quiet hours between 10pm-7am.

Long term guests staying more than 2 weeks will need to arrange an additional refundable cleaning deposit or schedule regular cleanings during stay (for an additional cleaning fee)

The following is a list of what you can expect to find in the unit.
Consider it a “starter kit” if you will…. Hopefully it will give you the time you need to procure any additional items you may need. If something on this list is not in the unit, please let us know and we will do our best to get it to you ASAP.

A 6% fee will be charged upon cancellation.
No parties allowed (exceptions made on a case by case basis)
No smoking or vaping of any kind in the listing. Outside smoking must be done away from the house and be respectful of other potential guests.

This rental is spacious, clean and located in the basement of a large house with another rental unit above. During the two days and nights we spent there, we could hear the people upstairs moving around and talking. It was a very noisy place to relax in. The kitchen and bathroom (there's only one) were very nice. However, the usual shampoo, body wash, etc. weren't provided...a near-empty handsoap dispenser on the bathroom counter was it. The rental has plenty of room but is lacking furniture...kitchen table and chairs, coffee and/or end tables in the living room. The parking area was ample, but quite a distance to the concrete steps leading down to the basement. This is not a place that we and our friends would stay again. On the bright side, the rodeo was fantastic and we loved visiting Wyoming.

It was much larger than we expected and was perfect for the one night we stayed. I wish we had been there longer to enjoy it more. The first thing our daughter noticed was the amount of stars you could see.

Family Road Trip

It was spacious and easily accommodated our family of five with 3 teenagers. There were a lot of flies at the entrance when we first got there. We could hear a lot of the goings on upstairs. Beautiful and up to date property. Well stocked kitchen. Greatly appreciated the laundry in the unit.

Comfortable and homey

Our stay was lovely. Even though it was downstairs there was a lot of light shinning in from the windows. Very spacious. When my husband was with our son, I felt comfortable by myself. We took towels, kitchen items and some food with us. The kitchen actually had enough pots, skillets, and utensils that a visitor would need. Also, plastic containers for left overs were there. Beautiful area.

Too noisy

The basement apartment looks just like in the pictures and was very nice. The house above and property are really pretty. However, we booked a two night stay and left after the first night (and did not get a refund). It was very cold and does not have a thermostat, and worse was the upstairs renters, we could hear everything they said and them stomping around the whole night, keeping us up until past 1am. Whoever is above is only a few feet from your head and you can tell. It must not be insulated between the floors. Ultimately the most important thing in a stay is a warm quiet place to sleep and that was not the case here.

Comfy country house.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was bigger than expected. A nice treat. The first night we got cold. (Remote for gas fireplace was not working.) second night too hot, no thermostat. Might be helpful to give a better description. It’s a ways to walk from car to the door and quite a few stairs. Overall a nice place. We would stay there again.

Country views out in the boondocks!

Nice basement apt, clean. Snacks were nice! Would have been nice with a few basics usually found, wine glasses/opener, napkins, Kleenex, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, etc. we had it all though so were good. Would be helpful with some end tables by bedside for phones etc and in living room. Enjoyed our quick overnight stay!

House hunting in cheyenne

We used this apartment as our home base for house hunting in cheyenne. We stayed for the last 7 days of our excursion with a teen, a 8 yo, mom, dad, and grandma. The unit is large and very clean especially for a vacation rental. Lots of open space outside, nice front yard with green grass. Front community seating area with lounge chairs. Back field has great vieews of the sunsets, front drive and yard has great views of the sunrise.

Cute basement unit didn’t feel like a basement at all. Cute unit . We had a one night stay. There was plenty of room for our family of five. They had games and things for the kids to play with. Check in and check out procedures were clear. Easy to contact the host when needed.

We enjoyed our stay. The owners were very nice and answered questions quickly. It’s a bit out of town- which is exactly what we were looking for. Even though it was a bit out of town- it was a short quick drive into town.

Out of town, great location. Wonderful stay.

Great stay in basement apartment. The caretakers were immediately responsive to all needs. It is recently remodeled, very clean and cozy. I stayed for a month, was mostly alone but did have my young family visit a few times. The kids LOVED the Legos that were provided. One bed has a slide, so fun. The layout is a little strange, you walk into one bedroom as you enter the door. It wasn't a problem for us but if you are dependent upon full privacy for every bedroom, it may be a down side. Being a basement, you can hear the upstairs renters but it wasn't a problem. The heat seems to be controlled from upstairs, so that was a bit of an issue as I was there in February. But there is a very nice gas fireplace. Washer and dryer are in the apartment. The kitchen is open and well equipped, they had good quality knives, which was awesome. My pet peeve about vacation homes is so often they provide terrible knives. Not here! The parking area is paved and large. It did snow while I was there and the parking area and driveway were plowed. It's a 15 minute drive to the Capital/downtown. I would stay again.

Basement apartment

Very clean property. Lots of space. It is out of town a few miles, but still accessible by Uber. My only complaint would be that there was no temperature controls. Overall a great place to stay.
