We absolutely loved staying here! The hosts set the standard for excellent care. Having big kids and babies can make it hard to enjoy a stay but this house easily accommodated our big family and kept everyone entertained.

Thank you for our lovely vacation!!This is the best stay we have ever had in Colorado, maybe anywhere. The hosts were so welcome, rented area was huge with anything you would want at your own home. The breakfasts were so good with generous portions. You can not get a better value or better accommodations anywhere in the area. We will be back!

Our stay with Norm and Monique was great! It was truly more like a bed and breakfast, but really felt like we were staying with family. The warm greeting, the pleasant conversations, the fantastic accommodations, and the delicious breakfast were all so wonderfully thoughtful and meant a lot to our family. We would highly recommend staying with Norm and Monique.

We came for a visit to the AF Academy. Great hosts. Breakfast was amazing. Norm and Monique are great people and give great communication. We wouldn’t hesitate to come stay again if we are back in the area.

We could not have had a better experience than we did with Monique and Norm. They are BEYOND hospitable and accommodating. It was a beautiful place and we will definitely be back on return trips to the Springs!

By far the best VRBO we have ever stayed in! Super clean, amazing breakfast, beautiful location and very welcoming hosts. They treated us like we were family. Will definitely want to stay here again on our next trip to CO!

A beautiful home and location. The hosts were exceptional and very welcoming. Easy access to travel to surrounding areas. We were greeted every morning with a smile and a healthy breakfast. It was a great experience and highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough, how pleasant our stay was. My dog was very welcomed and plenty of walking running space in the back. Our continental breakfast every morning was the highlight of our day and Monique and Norm were amazing host. We can’t thank them enough.

I had a wonderful experience at this property. The hosts were incredibly kind and quick to respond. The property was very clean on check in and had plenty of room and beautiful views. I had planned a gathering during our duration here and I found that the hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would definitely consider booking this stay again!

Beatiful and welcoming

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property is beautifil and clean. The view of the mountains is what drew me to the listing and the hospitality is what will bring us back for future visits!

Couldn’t ask for nicer hosts. Breakfast was incredible everyday. Spacious and comfortable living accommodations. Nice and quiet neighborhood with amazing view. I would highly recommend this place.

We had an incredible experience staying with Norm and Monique, the place was extremely cozy, the outside is absolutely beautiful with all the garden beds and trees The Continental breakfast was out of this world and not mention the king size bed was extremely comfortable.

Monique and Norman were the absolute best. They were kind, friendly, accommodating and the property is absolutely beautiful. It was such a peaceful and serene stay. My friends and family visiting from out of town enjoyed their time as well. Our guests who stayed at the property said the homemade breakfast was phenomenal. One of the best rental experiences I’ve had. We highly recommend staying here, we will definitely book again when the need arises!

Peaceful & beautiful

Loved our stay at Norm & Monique’s place! A beautiful large walkout with lots of space and a backyard with a view of Pikes Peak. A comfy bed and nicely appointed bathroom & kitchen.. Kitchen has all you need and they brought us a delicious breakfast each morning with more than enough food to start the day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future.

The beauty & detail of this property did not go unnoticed! Wonderful space with everything we possibly could need. Our Hosts Norm & Monique were friendly, helpful & most accommodating! We were 30 minutes from our family, which made things easy for us! We look forward to returning!

Best experience

A short review seems minimal compared to the awesome experience my family had staying here. The hosts were more than accommodating. They brought coffee to my family every morning. This is more of a bed and breakfast rather than your typical rentals. The home is spacious and comfortable, the view is beyond spectacular. Don’t hesitate to book.

We absolutely loved the stay here. Norm and Monique could not have been more accommodating. Monique’s continental breakfast was beautifully presented and DELICIOUS!! It was much more than a “continental breakfast”. Great place for your dog too. They had a large food and water bowel awaiting your pet. They even had a bed for them. The VRBO was comfortable and roomy and had everything you would need and if it didn’t you could contact Norm and he would get it.The view and patio are to die for, just sit down, relax and take it all in! A place we hope to visit again!

Beautiful home - Like staying with family

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. The hosts are kind and gracious. The continental breakfast with fresh, warm muffins, deli meat, fruit, and cheese was more than enough each day. The basement suite is well appointed and had some high end touches we appreciated. We felt as if we were staying in the basement of family as we were welcomed as such but can also hear all of the every day life activities going on upstairs (kitchen, phone calls, meal conversations, drawers, dog, etc). It would be impossible not to hear eachother so there isn't a feeling of separation or privacy if you are looking for that. There are saloon type doors at the top of the basement stairs separating the two areas. The bed was very comfortable but sleep was a little tough with some noise from upstairs. Absolutely lovley humans and beautiful home. We were disappointed to miss out on the back patio space the last morning due to pest control being on site and warning us to stay in after dousing the patio area with spray. We saw ZERO evidence of any bugs during our stay; it was just a bummer to have that going on in the last hour before check out. Similar to inside, you will hear and see the owners outdoors tending to this beautiful property, riding the mower/ tractor, and going about daily life. The dog, Beau, is a friendly face as well. Overall, a wonderful place with a lovely host. Just be aware ahead of time what it means to have owners on site and adjust your expectations accordingly.

Norman and Monique were wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful home and property. All the special touches made us feel like we were staying at a five-star hotel. They served us a yummy breakfast every morning with lots of options, and even catered to food allergies. I would highly recommend you check out this place if you are looking for a peaceful retreat but still have plenty of options nearby for dining and entertainment.
