Charming stone house, Laubie is located near the village of Saint-Jean-de-Duras, in the northern part of the Lot-et-Garonne. It is about ten kilometers from Duras and its château, as well as the famous medieval village of Eymet in the Dordogne, between Bergerac (24), Marmande (47) and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande (33).

Laubie is a large stone house, designed, built, and fitted out by Sebastiao, who will welcome you with his warm Portuguese accent. He lives in the adjoining dovecote visible in the photos. Very discreet, he will not disturb you, as he works as a carpenter in the family business. It was he and his brother who crafted, in the purest tradition, the splendid timber frame as well as the wooden structure separating the vast living area from the sleeping quarters.

This country house can accommodate three couples and one child. It is ideal for relaxing while discovering the many nearby tourist attractions. From the terrace or the large, light-filled living room with its floor-to-ceiling windows, you will enjoy an exceptional panoramic view that invites quiet contemplation. The bedrooms overlook the vineyards of the Domaine viticole de Laplace, located just 1 km away.

The above-ground swimming pool, installed near the terrace, blends harmoniously into the setting without obstructing the view. The spacious garden, which can be enclosed upon request, is bordered by young olive trees — a nod to Sebastiao’s Portuguese roots.
