Wonderful property and wonderful hosts. Extremely kind family who try to help in every way - Even bringing us fresh plums and prunes from their trees. Property is beautiful and the pool and outdoor seating area is lovely. Situated a stoves throw from Eymet. Each room has an en suite shower which was a lovely surprise. We will be back.

Perfect holiday home!

We absolutely loved our week here. Perfect location for visiting places combined with an absolutely gorgeous house. A lot of thought has been given to include everything you will need at the property.

Our 3rd 4 week visit

Brilliant as always. Wonderful hosts, super pool, peace and tranquility. Martine and Alban even found some friends to help translate for us as our French is rubbish. Lots of love to grannie too.

Lovely Stay

Wonderful stay in Lauzun

We were 4 adults and one child of 5 - this property had everything we needed and was surrounded by beautiful countryside. The pool is clean and child friendly with great views. The owners are very accommodating and discreet and were on hand if we needed to ask for anything.

RELAXING STAY

The property is situated in a quiet location but near to the local village and has everything you are likely to need. We had a relaxing stay and look forward to returning. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and are at the end of the phone if needed. Thank you Alban and Martine.

We would endorse all the previous lovely comments. The location is superb, with many bastide villages to visit. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and discreet. The property is exactly as described and that provided the perfect holiday for our family. If you see a very timid black and white cat, give him our love.

Beautiful property in great countryside location. On arrival was required to provide 500 euros in cash as a security (returned at end of stay provided nothing broken or damaged) This needs to be made clear on booking. Nice property albeit the pillows and bedding could do with replacing! Nice people, there if needed other than that left alone. Would recommend

Second month long stay

The holiday was just as good as last year, but what disappointing weather. During our four week stay, most days were overcast and we needed heating on most evenings. What on earth is happening when it is sweltering in Spain but freezing and raining in France? Nevertheless, thank you again to our lovely hosts for such a wonderful stay, for the cherry picking and the peace and quiet.

Best Accommodation Yet

We have been coming to France, self catering, for 25 years. This is the best accommodation yet. The hosts were wonderful (on call if needed but out of sight if not). We had some communication problems between our non existent French and their non existent English, but Google translate came to the rescue. There were just two of us, so we did not use most of the property. However, the pool was the cleanest ever, with an outside shower and loo. We were invited to pick cherries from the garden, which were wonderful. The only problem was the address of the property. Vrbo gave it as renovated stone farmhouse with a road number. The road did not feature on our new satnav and no-one in Lauzun knew where we should go. Even the neighbour next door had never heard of the address. An hour after arriving in Lauzun and doing numerous circuits of the town, we went down a private track, and there were the owners waiting for us. Please Vrbo amend your site to give the correct address, which is Grosse Teste, as is clearly marked on the track leading from the main road. What a wonderful 4 weeks in France.

Excellent property, and great people to deal with

The house is in a great location, being near the town but not in it. The countryside is beautiful, and you can access so many great places to visit from here, from small Bastides, to the fantastic Bordeaux. The rooms are big, and each has its own shower which I did not realise from the description. The kitchen has all the equipment and crockery you will ever need, and is very clean. The lounge has a good range of satellite, and the WI FI connection is easy to use and works well. The pool area and outside seating etc is perfect, and takes full benefit from the sun, but offers shade when you want it. We small plenty of friendly wildlife from Deer to Hares as we sat out of an evening. Mme Mesquita does not speak English, so unless you speak French then Google translate is fine. The booking process was not a problem, and she has the assistance of an English speaking friend if needed. Upon arrival, we were met by her charming mother, and with a spot of smiling and waving of hands, seemed to understand each other easily enough. As hosts, they were perfect. Not obtrusive, but could be contacted should you need them, and the pool is maintained throughout without any fuss. I thoroughly recommend the house as a super holiday choice, and would be happy to answer any questions.

Prima vakantiehuis! Aanrader

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Het huis is prima. 4 slaapkamers met elk een douche, in totaal 2 toiletten en bij het zwembad ook nog eens een douche en toilet.. Het huis is schoon. Ruim voldoende bestek en servies. 6 ligstoelen en nog wat andere stoelen en 2 parasols bij het zwembad. Ruime tafel met 8 stoelen op overdekt terras. Volop rust. En dan de eigenaren, dat zijn schatten!! Heel gastvrij, bijzonder aardig en zorgzaam. Wij vinden dit vakantiehuis een echte aanrader!

Fantastisch!!

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in een super fijn huis. Het zwembad is fantastisch. Goed afgeschermd voor kleine kinderen door een hek en alarm. Er is ontzettend veel ruimte om het huis, wat veel privacy geeft. De bakker is ongeveer 1,5 kilometer verderop en is goed te lopen. Je loopt wel langs de weg. Martine en Alban zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. En "oma", die in een huis op het gigantische terrein woont, is heel erg lief. De kinderen gingen haar graag gedag zeggen. Jammer dat we een beetje een taalbarriere hadden, maar Google was een grote hulp. Wij komen graag nog eens terug bij Martine, Alban en "oma"

Accueil très chaleureux

Très belle maison avec une vue magnifique et au calme. Propriétaires très chaleureux et accueillants, tout est fait pour que l’on se sente à l’aise. Juste dommage que la piscine ne soit pas bâchée (eau à 24 degrés).

gîte superbe tant par son emplacement, campagne et beaucoup d'espace vert que par la qualité du gîte : grand, propre, excellent contact avec les propriétaires et la mamie Marie Thérèse qui savent accueillir le coeur sur la main ce qui fait chaud au coeur! Vous pouvez y aller sans vous poser de question, il y a tout ce dont on a besoin , que du bonheur!!!

Really nice, calm and private

Very friendly and helpfull owners. We were able to enter the house befor the check-in, received a nice walk-around and were handed over the keys. You can't have more privacy that there. All alone with a great large swimming pool. We had a amazing time there and i am sure we will go there again.

Belle maison au calme

Belle villa dans un endroit très calme (fin d'un impasse). Même aux jours très chaud (40°) et sans airco, la maison reste fraîche. Dans le jardin il y a aussi beaucoup de l'ombre (tout le jour). Les propriétaires sont très agréables et toujours prêts à rendre service.

De woning is netje gerestaureerd en beschikt over alles wat nodig is voor een ontspannen vakantie. Eigenaresses staan tot de beschikking indien gewenst. Op korte afstand van diverse dorpjes.

Au calme

Location en tout point conforme aux photos et description de l’annonce, très bien située pour visiter et parfaitement adaptée aux enfants avec un jardin gigantesque en toute sécurité. Un havre de paix en pleine campagne

Notre séjour fût parfait! La maison est très bien équipée et agencée. L’insonorisation est aussi parfaite, car, même en sejournant dans la chambre qui donne sur la terrasse, on n’entend rien. La grande piscine est l’immense jardin ont fait le bonheur de toute la famille. Merci Beaucoup à M et MMe Mesquita pour leur amabilité, leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse.
