Pet friendly, Great Location, close to beach and restaurants!

My family of 5 dog (poodle) had a amazing time at this rental property. This unit is exactly the way it describes online. My kids weee literally feet away from the community pool. Clean and all the necessary household items were provided to make this stay very enjoyable!

As Advertised

The condo was as advertised. It looked like the online photos. Close to the beach, 5 min. walk if you are stepping lively, 8-10 min. walk if you are leisurely strolling. If you are looking for a condo with a very good location, close to beach, plenty of room for mom, dad and the kids, comfortable beds and flat screen TVs that work, then you should strongly consider this place.

We hosted a few visitors, enjoyed the decorative, clean, cozy condo and the management was so helpful. Any question was answered in record time and courteous manner by Christina or Audrey. The condo is a short three block walk to the public beach access or you can drive with easy parking. Safe and quiet but close to the beach, walkways and several great restaurants.

Christina and Audrey are always so helpful and quick to answer every question. Unit #212 is spacious and accommodated our family in every way. Beach and restaurants are an easy 5 minute walk and public beach access and parking are by popular Pompano Joe’s, if you need to drive. We have already rebooked for next year.

Great short stay at Misty Cove

Condo was very clean on arrival, and the host’s photos depict the property accurately. Check-in was very easy (electronic keypad). The kitchen is well-appointed with pretty much everything you’d ever need. Beds are very comfortable. Air conditioning functioned well. My only caveat is that the living room sofa and chairs are low, so if you have people in your party with back/knee problems or other mobility issues, that could potentially be a problem for them. Also, there were storms in the area that knocked out the internet for most of our stay, so if you absolutely have to have internet service, I would suggest bringing some type of hotspot device for backup. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but saw many other guests enjoying it. The beach really is just a short walk away (5-8 minutes), but if you don't want to walk, there is a public parking lot right at the end of the street (2-minute drive). Host was responsive to inquires both before and during the stay. All-in-all, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Close to beach and anything else you need

Our stay was very nice. Unit extremely clean once we arrived. Checkin process smooth. Host was very attentive. Beach is a little bit of a walk .48 miles according to our watch pedometer. We purchased a wagon to carry all of our stuff to the beach daily. The neighborhood is off of the main road to the beach with construction, other rentals and people out all of the time walking, walking their dogs or heading to the beach. Very safe area even walking the dogs alone at night. Within walking distance of a few restaurants and Alvin’s for shopping. The unit is very close to the outlets, grocery stores and anything else that you would need. It is definitely conveniently located. Destin is a few miles up the road and easily accessible. Only complaint is that the living room furniture is extremely low. For someone like me with knee issues, it was difficult to get off of, but overall a nicely decorated unit. The balcony upstairs and patio downstairs were both furnished for drinking morning coffee or reading a book, and that was a nice touch. The best part for our family is that we were able to travel with our 2 Goldendoodles. Overall our family enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at our townhouse on Misty Cove. The townhouse was newly renovated at it was decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable, the space and layout was amazing we loved the patio and deck off of the master bedroom. I would have ranked this townhouse as a 5 star, however, I give it a 4-star because it did not have 3 things that is necessary for any trip. They did not have an iron, a hair dryer or plunger for the bathroom. All of these things with a cheap motel so it should be expected in a rental that cost this much and is a house. The purpose of renting a townhouse is for the space and the fact that it comes with everything you need. It came with a crock pot, mixer, blender and a lot of things that people typically will not use on vacation, but the failed to supply necessities. Yes a plunger is a necessity. It is a beach town so after swimming everyday people wash their hair so they need a hair dryer. Most people may not care about an iron, but I do it is a necessity for me because I hate wrinkled clothes. I hope this was an oversight because it was newly renovated. If it was not, management needs to add those amenities. I would not have to bring those things if I was in a simple motel, so why should I have to bring it to a townhouse.

It was a quiet place, but at the same time, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The beach was very crowded, but it was spring break, so not a big surprise there. I will likely go back and try to stay there during the summer or after labor day.
