Enjoy a very private setting with expansive views of Swift's Bay, Thatcher’s Pass, Ferry Traffic and the Cascades from our special home.

The all cedar great room has a vaulted ceiling with comforting furniture, fireplace, large screen HDTV, Bose surround sound and uninterrupted views that leads to its own large deck looking southeast. The gourmet kitchen has Viking, Bosch, and Subzero appliances. The imported granite counter tops and sitting area lends itself to gourmet or casual cooking. You are very likely to see Eagles, Deer, Otters, Mink and Seals from all arears of the house.

From the great room enter a stunning sun room with fireplace, sitting and dining areas. Outside you will find a new built-in barbecue, separate outside sitting area, a spacious hot tub (could be unavailable in late fall and/ or winter if we have a significant freeze.). Enjoy 240 feet of private beach while gathering around an evening fire by the fire pit surrounded by natural log benches.

The large master bedroom has a separate deck looking Northwest to the ferry terminal and Spencer’s Landing Marina.

Downstairs is a guest bedroom and a separate office area with a Murphy bed. (Wireless High Speed internet throughout).

Relax in our knotty pine loft with separate TV for DVD Movie watching while overlooking the eastern San Juan’s.

We will do everything possible to make your experience extra special.

We had a lovely first visit to the San Juan Islands and chose Lopez Island because of this beautiful home. The views were amazing. As many wrote, the kitchen was well-stocked, including Reynolds Wrap and plenty of herbs. Along with the views, which really are beautiful, this home offers several cozy places to curl up by the gas fireplace and read. We spent lots of time in the great room. Gayle is an excellent communicator. We came during the 'off-season' and there was still plenty to enjoy — hiking, farm visits, and art venues. We plan to return to Lopez and this beautiful home.

Great beach house!

We loved our stay at the Lopez Beach House- we used it as home base for a week with extended family and it was perfect! We enjoyed finding shells on the beach, cooking s’mores in the fire pit, and sat in the sun room in cooler days. The bedrooms were comfy and we made good use of the kitchen for family meals and dined alfresco. Thankyou!!

Spectacular!

Perfect home to share for a week with old friends of 45 years We enjoyed each day and evening, cooking, relaxing, biking, hiking, kayaking! It doesn’t get any better! Even playing pool again too. THANK YOU for the best stay ever, we hope to return!!

Lopez Perfection!

The house and setting in the bay were pure perfection! Saw bald eagles, seals, crazy river otters, and of course, ferries! Best view was from the “infinity tub”!

Lopez Island Getaway

Breathtaking views, spacious home and wondeful accommodations. Great information and helpful tips from Gayle. Amazing island with kind people that wave whereever you go. Spectacular hiking trails with incredible scenery. We have never had a vacation like this one. We will definitely be back!

Incredible Family Stay

Absolutely loved our time on the spot, it was the perfect location for a 'chose your own adventure' stay with the family. We got to bike around the island, hang out by the beach, enjoy the hot tub, and play board games and cook inside. The sunrises were incredible, lots of the natural world putting on a show for us! It was a real dream, everything was comfortable with enough space for all of us, and we hope to stay again soon!

Lopez Island Delight

Fantastic place to stay for a week as a family (adult couple, toddler, infant, grandma)! Beautiful views, great ferry and animal watching, and excellent tidepooling out the back door while the front balcony offered lovely sunset views. Grass on both side of the backyard to kick a soccer ball around with the toddler, who also loved roasting hot dogs and marshmallows at the fire pit. Adults enjoyed the hot tub after kids’ bedtime. Location was great - lots of privacy, and you don’t need to leave the house if you don’t want to but we found it an excellent jumping off point for half day trips (we like to do lots of walking and hiking). Easy 5-10 minute drive to town for meals out. Owner was great at communication. Appreciated the laundry (and drying rack!) given we had two kids with us. Would definitely book again.

This is a great property!

This Lopez property is excellent. Off the back deck: beachfront with views to the east of the shipping channel towards Blakely across Swifts Bay. From the front: views west over Shoals Bay to the ferry dock and beautiful sunsets. The host was friendly, helpful and easy to work with. The house is well victualled for guests.

Perfect week on beautiful Lopez Island

There is no better place to stay for a week! Our group (4 adults, 2 young kids) stayed for a week in March and had, truly, a perfect week. The home was absolutely amazing. Beautiful views out the front and back, beachside fire pit, hot tub, great location, very private, and spectacular wildlife to view every day from the house. The house was plenty large for our group and very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully stocked/appointed. The owner was communicative and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular waterfront relaxation

This truly has to be the best waterfront location on Lopez, or most anywhere in the San Juan Islands! During our six-night stay, we reveled in early morning coffee on the deck with gorgeous sunrises and blue herons in Swifts Bay, ferry rides to Friday Harbor for shopping and dining, and quiet nights sipping wine and stargazing from the sparkling clean and well-maintained hot tub. We were a group of older adults, but this home is perfect for families, too, and the host has thoughtfully provided a new pool table, as well as games and puzzles for little ones. Plenty of room, and excellent, ample parking. We had a fabulous time and look forward to coming back!

Beautiful home with incredible views

We loved our stay here. It was so peaceful and just what our family needed to reset and unwind. We saw bald eagles, otters, seals, herons, and deer. Our kids loved the pool table! The owners were very responsive. We would love to come back!
