The tasteful furnishings in our family apartment reflect the love and care we have put into it and clearly distinguish these accommodations from typical vacation rentals that only offer the bare necessities. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area close to San Domenico, just a 10-minute stroll from the center of town (with the bus in front of the house you can reach the pedestrian zone in three minutes without walking uphill...).
The house is built on a slope: The apartment is actually on the 3rd floor but it is half a floor below the main entrance (about 15 steps down the stairs without elevator).

All of the rooms feature antique furnishings. Both of the generously sized bedrooms have hardwood parquet floors with a fishbone design, while the yellow marble flooring in the living room creates a unique, colorful accent.
The two baths, both with windows, have been completely renovated and feature luxurious amenities. Thank to the brand new water heater (installed 2019 December) the warm water supply is now much better than the years before. Water pressure and temperature are ideal.

The kitchen provides virtually every convenience you could think of, including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, refrigerator, oven and of course a gas stove.

The spacious living room offers a magnificent view of the cathedral hill that simply cannot be found anywhere else. On the balcony you'll find a bistro table and two chairs inviting you to enjoy sunset with an aperitiv or a good wine glas.

All balconies offer sun awnings to protect you against heat and sunlight at summer.

Parking is available in the neighborhood. Please consider that we don't have a privat parking slot, so that you cannot book a place for your car.

IMPORTANT: A brand new portable air conditioner "PINGUINO DE LONGHI" is available to cool down the master bedroom or the living room. Both sleeping rooms are equipped with modern fans.

The apartment gave us a truly immersive experience in Siena. It takes you back in time while offering all modern amenities. Our host, Alessandra, was very responsive, informative and flexible. Everything about this apartment is stellar. The view from the balconies is spectacular day and night. Be prepared to walk in Siena…lots…up and down hills.

This property was great for my wife, me and two of our friends. The location was a short walk into the old part of Siena. The view from the balcony was beautiful - so much so that we occasionally opted to get take-away, brought it back to the apartment and sat on the balcony sipping wine, eating great pizza while we watched the old city turn golden as the sun set behind us.I can't say enough about how helpful Alessandra was before and during our stay. She was always very quick to respond and was very accommodating.

We had a fabulous stay in Siena. The apartment was perfect for what we needed, we could cook should we want to. Close to the old town either by short walk or bus stop 3 minute walk away- worked well for us. The actual view from balcony is so much better than in picture. Loved our stay, thank you for having us

We enjoyed this lovely and spacious apartment. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. Our host was gracious and responsive.The weather was mid 80s while we were in Siena, and the portable air conditioner in the living room provided limited cooling. At night we opened the windows and enjoyed the cool temperatures.The shower in the smaller bathroom was difficult to manage due to the folding door and small size, so we used the shower in the main bathroom. That shower was in a large bathtub, a little tricky climbing in.

This is an amazing getaway location. The apartment feels like a museum with how beautifully appointed it is. The views of Siena from the apartment were spectacular. It was a magical place. The apartment sits at the base of the Siena historic district. The view of Siena at night was romantic and breathtaking. It is not only centrally located to Siena itself, but made for a perfectly centralized base for touring Tuscany. The food in Siena is so amazing you can eat there for a week and have superb meals each night. Additionally, Alessandra was so helpful and delightful. I would highly recommend this location.

Our host was a Rock Star. The picture from the patio looking across to the Church was so much better in person. At night the Cathedral was light up, we had a lemonchello and watched the full moon rise. Everything was in walking distance and we fully enjoyed our neighborhood. We can't say enough about the apartment, the location, etc. The furnishings, chandeliers and views were so underatted in the description. Allesandra went above and beyond for what we've experienced with other VRBO hosts! Hands down, this is a 5 star property,.

Lovely accommodation, view and location

This apartment is everything it’s advertised to be and more! The furnishings are grand with an old-world charm. The flat is very spacious and there are great views from the multiple balconies. Just a quick 10 minute walk puts you into the heart of Sienna. A small market is just a 7 minute walk.Lots of street parking - but a LOT of competition for those spaces.

Week in Tuscany

The apartment was very spacious and filled with beautiful antiques. The four of us had plenty of room to spread out. The views and locations were magnificent- close enough to town but quiet. Exploring Siena was easy with a short taxi ride to city center and then long walks through historic streets. We enjoyed the patios every morning and evening and took advantage of the kitchen With cooking breakfast and apertivos. We found everything we needed as well as an extensive instruction about apt and recommendations for dining, sights and activities. We highly recommend this as your choice for Siena lodging.

Stop in Tuscany

Location of this place is outstanding, a nice easy walk into the center of the historical area and to a small nearby food market. The apartment is nicely furnished with primarily antiques, spacious and welcoming, though a bit musty smelling. Bathrooms were updated and very clean. We continuously had problems with the Wi-Fi service, and though the owner was promptly responsive in regard to checking in and out there was zero response to our Wi-Fi questions. A heads up that parking is more challenging than presented - we were there during the off season so I can’t imagine what it would be like in season. To not have a car would be preferable.

Apartment with a view in Sienna.

This is a lovely property with wonderful views. It is far outside of the city center where we wanted to spend our time. Parking/driving is very tricky so we used cabs. The cabs were very easy to get. Owners left lots of good information for us at the apartment.

A Beautiful Siena Getaway

The apartment was huge and beautifully furnished with antiques and paintings of museum quality. Alessandra was super helpful in getting us settled and quick to respond to any queries. The location was great as a short walk to the historic center of Siena, also to a cafe with yummy coffee and pastries [up the steps from the public parking] and to a small grocery store with everything you may need. The only issue we experienced during our stay was parking our rental as street spots were rare as were ones in the large public lot minutes away [in particular over the weekend]. Aside from that the place was perfect and Siena is such a pretty city with the most beautiful Duomo I have ever visited [apart from St. Peter's Basilica in Rome]. Highly recommend !

Beautiful Apartment!

Looking at the outside of this apartment building, you would never know what hidden gem is awaiting on the inside. This apartment was not only huge, but gorgeous! From the marble floors and antiques to the incredible view of Siena, we were in awe. There was a lot of love and care put into this home. The kitchen was well stocked and functional. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. It is about a 15 minute walk to the medieval town but it's a scenic one. My only complaints are that the bed was VERY hard & uncomfortable and the antique living room chairs/couches were not ones we could really relax on. When we visit Siena again, I hope to stay in this beautiful apartment again.

Excellent accommodations

Perfect, walkable location to get to restaurants and the city center. The home is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with our host was excellent. We highly recommend this property and would stay again if visiting Sienna in the future.

The photos from the balcony are 100 % true! Fabulous setting to end your day with a bottle of wine. Super outfitted kitchen, great to cook in if you are a foodie. Big spacious rooms. We stayed long enough to learn the pathways into the city centre walking. Great stay , loved it.

We are Italian citizen, but in our family we always loved travelling and having international experiences. They say home is where the heart is and our heart is in Siena, although we’ve never had the opportunity to live there. We enjoy travelling during the off-season and in regions that remain “unspoiled” by mass tourism. We love Portugal, for example, but not necessarily the tourist areas of Algarve in the summer. Our main priority as a host is to ensure that our guests always feel right at home and view our apartment as their own. After all, this is more than just a vacation rental; this is our family’s apartment, situated in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. This apartment is part of our life story.
