Clean and comfortable, could do with a bigger kitchen to accommodate a washing machine, oven and dishwasher. We couldn't use the kitchen as much as we would have liked because of the small fridge, no oven and no dishwasher.The 2nd bedroom, kitchen and living room all share 1 AC unit, which made it difficult to get the temp right.Check in was not communicated properly, we arrived at the property and had to message the owner, who then gave us the local contact name and number. The local family running the rental were great, they tried to help as much as possible.

The owners of the property where very friendly and live on site, so helpful if you have any issues. Small things to consider. It would not put us off booking again: Could not find a tv channel in English and also no hair dryer available. ( not listed on property but helpful to know if planning your holiday) Towels provided for room but no pool towels. No WIFI.

Excellent in all aspects!

We had a fabulous holiday at Mihael and Anya's apartment. It was clean and had everything that you needed with a lovely balcony too. The swimming pool is quite small but perfect for a quick dip. The gardens around the apartments are well cared for and beautiful. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The apartment is a little way away from central Dubrovnik but the bus service is excellent. It runs every 20 minutes until around 2am. We did not need a car as you can walk to the supermarket and the bus service is very efficient. You very quickly get the hang of them. Buy your tickets at the bus kiosks for 12 kuna or 5 kuna on the bus. There is a pizza restaurant very close which is superb and you can also easily walk (35 mins) or bus down to the Marina where the is another restaurant Bistro Izvor which is amazing. Anya and Milo were great hosts. They live in the bottom floor apartment so are always around for any advice. They are really friendly and we often shared a home made sherry with them. My daughter had her 18th birthday while we were there and they gave her a present and made her a cake which we enjoyed with them. They have an adorable dog called Charlie who is just gorgeous. Dubrovnik is a fabulous place there is lots of things to do and the beaches are stunning, really clear water and very warm. We spent 16 nights there and were never bored. I could not recommend this apartment or Dubrovnik high enough.

Ferienwohnung Mokosica

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Wohnung hat alles was man benötigt. Der Ausblick vom Balkon auf das Meer ist wunderbar, auf dem großzügigen Balkon kann man gut Mahlzeiten zu sich nehmen und gut in den Tag starten. Der Pool lädt zur kleinen Abkühlung an heißen Tagen ein. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Anbindung zur Altstadt ist sehr konfrontabel, welche gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen ist. Wir bedanken uns rechtherzlich das wir unseren ersten Urlaub am Mittelmeer in dieser Ferienwohnung verbringen konnten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Sauberkeit 1A :) gerne wieder.

Es sind Tatsächlich einige Regeln aufgestellt in der Unterkunft, allerdings kann sie nur so ordentlich und sauber betrieben werden. Die Vermieter sind sehr fleißig und ständig am werkeln um die Unterkunft so sauber und hochwertig zu erhalten. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder im Teenager Alter und haben es dort sehr genossen. Man hat uns mit Tipps versorgt wo wir am besten essen können, wo die schönsten Badeplätze sind und was man in Dalmatien alles gesehen haben muss. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. In der Wohnung waren zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, ein Wohnzimmer und eine Küche. Die Küche war zwar sehr klein, aber für uns ausreichend. Die Wohnung ist mit Klima ausgestattet und man kann von beiden Zimmern auf den großen Balkon gehen. Nach Dubrovnik sind wir eine halbe Stunde mit dem Bus unterwegs gewesen. In Mokosica selber gibt es ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und eine Post in der man Geld wechseln kann, alles wunderbar zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Alles in allem eine top Anlage mit viel Liebe zur Reinlichkeit und zum Detail. Wer allerdings halli galli dreckssauparty machen will ist hier falsch! Ein ruhiger Ort zum runterkommen vom alltäglichen Stress, ist hier die Devise. Einzig allein laut ist die schnell befahrene Straße… da sollte man Evtl. Mehr Blitzer aufstellen oder so…aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist hier kaum was zu hören.

Wunderbar

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter war unkompliziert, das Anwesen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch ohne Auto kamen wir gut zurecht: Restaurant, Bar und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar, in Dubrovnik ist man mit dem Bus in einer halben Stunde. Die Vermieter waren stets sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schöner Urlaub in Dalmatien

Wir verbrachten 2 angenehme Wochen in Mokosica. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und nach einer kurzen Einweisung wurden wir mit wertvollen Tips für einen erholsamen Urlaub versorgt. Die Wohnung ist ausreichend groß, sauber und mit einem schönen großzügigen Balkon, von dem man einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer und die umliegende Berge hat, versehen. Das Auto stand sicher und vor zu starker Sonnenstrahlung geschützt, unter einem abgeschlossenen Carport. Auch die Außenanlage incl. Pool sind sauber und gepflegt. Wie auch andere Reisende hier schon vermerkt haben ist es ideal, das die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus ist. Mit der Linie 1A kommt man ohne Umzusteigen zum Hafen oder zur Altstadt von Dubrovnik. Für Ausflüge nach Kotor bzw. zu den Kravica Wasserfällen nutzten wir das Auto, beides lohnenswerte Ziele die von hier gut zu erreichen sind. Der Tip mit der Insel Lopud kam von unseren Gastgebern, für den wir sehr dankbar waren. Vom Hafen aus kommt man günstig mit dem Schiff auf die Insel, die einen herrlichen Sandstrand hat. Fußläufig zu erreichen ist eine Pizzeria, auch ein Tip unserer Gastgeber, in der man lecker speisen kann. Etwas weiter weg, ca. 5 min. mit dem Auto, gibt es noch das .... (Name zu nennen wurde mir von Fewo Direkt wegen fragwürdigem Inhalt untersagt), das wir empfehlen können. Gute Steaks in einer reizvollen Umgebung. Nochmals vielen Dank für einen erholsamen Urlaub.

Our summer stay

We were disappointed with the welcome. It was not made clear to us how to get keys once we arrived late at night though we managed. The elderly owners are kind in their own way. They showed us their garden but are also very strict and it made us feel very unwelcome with two young children Beware, they have a dog which is not listed in the ad and it bit my daughters hand. No apology or concern was offered by the owner. They woke us up very early to fix a repair while we were on holiday and are unable to offer checkout a minute past 10. With 2 young kids it's not a place I would stay again as we left feeling upset. At the cost they charge you get very little so be prepared to pay a small fortune for very little!

Erholsamer Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Fereinhaus

Da wir bereits Bewertungen anderer Gäste gelesen hatte, waren wir natürlich sehr gespannt, ob alles wirklich so positiv ist. Und wir sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Im Objekt gibt es mehrere Wohnungen unsere war sehr groß, mit allem, was man braucht, sauber, gepflegt, mit Liebe eingerichtet, einfach super. Auch die Außenanlagen, der Garten und der Pool waren super gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Die kurze "Einweisung" am ersten Tag war toll und trug dazu bei, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an pudelwohl gefühlt haben. Die Fewo bietet einen super Startpunkt für die Erkundung der Stadt Dubrovnik bzw. der ganzen Region. Das war ein Urlaub der einen ganz, ganz großen Wohlfühlfaktor hatte. PS.: Danke Anja und Milo für die schönen Zeit bei euch, den Grillabend und diesen herrlichen Urlaub. Auch wenn wir nirgends zweimal hinkommen wollten - wir werden uns Wiedersehen. A quiet well located apartment only 10 minutes drive from Dubrovnik. On the occasion that we where there we were the only guests and so had the pool area, which is situated in a well kept garden, to ourselves. The apartment was very clean with a large balcony and open views. The hosts were helpful and friendly. If you have the opportunity to try Mihael's homemade wine accept as it's delicious.

The apartment is clean and the lovely garden and pool are well cared for, a 20 min bus ride from old

Our hosts at Mokosica, Anna and Mihael, welcomed us warmly the evening we arrived, sharing with us their homemade wine on the veranda under fruiting grape vines. Our hosts clearly enjoy meeting their guests and made a number of very helpful local sightseeing recommendations to us. The property is conveniently located directly across the street from the bus stop and less than a half hour to the old town of Dubrovnik. We preferred being somewhat remote to the intensity of the city, and there are several good walkable restaurants near to the apartment. The property is on a well-traveled street, so traffic noise may be an issue for some, but did not disturb us. The apartment is clean and the lovely garden and pool are well cared for. There is a lovely view to the marina from the upstairs balcony.

A quiet place to stay

Great welcome from Milos and Anya..and Charlie the 🐕. Everything was as described on the site. Lovely pool, lots of very good local restaurants and bars in easy walking or just a short bus ride away. The local wine is really good and compliments the local food. Everything we had was fresh and locally grown. The apartment was perfect for us, 2 couples. We were diving with the Blue Planet school, 20mins drive, or visiting the city, 30 mins on the bus that stopped outside the property and runs every 20mins We will be back

Nice holiday home near Dubrovnik

We stayed in this holiday appartment for 9 days and had a very good time. Helpful houseowners, quiet, clean and safe surroundings. Not far from Dubrovnik by car or bus.

Shared pool, traffic noise, clean but old

There is five other apartments which share the little pool. Good to know if you are planning to use the pool much. Road is in front of the house but the beautiful garden covers the view to the road but traffic noise it can't block. Apartment was clean. Kitchen is very tiny and the other bedroom and bathroom too. Location is ok.

Schönes Appartment in Top Lage

Wir haben das erste mal über fewo einen Urlaub gebucht und waren dementsprechend gespannt ob alles so klappt wie bei einem Pauschalurlaub. Da wir eine kleine tochter haben, standen wir mit den Besitzern bereis im vorfeld in regem Kontakt um einige organisatorische Dinge wie hochstuhl, babybett, transfer oder mietwagenverleih abzusprechen. Es wurde sehr schnell und freundlich geantwortet und man half uns bei sehr vielen Dingen weiter, was uns viel Zeit und Arbeit ersparte. Auch während unseres Aufenthaltes wurden uns viele Ausflugs- und Geheimtipps weiter gegeben über die wir sehr dankbar waren. Die Anlage wird von den Eigentümern sehr liebevoll gepflegt und ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Pool war für uns als kleine Familie perfekt zum entspannen. Natürlich gibt es wie in einem Hotel auch, Regeln an die man sich halten muss, aber dafür kann man auch in einer wunderschön grünen Anlage Urlaub machen. Auch unsere kleine Tochter fasste die Eigentümer sehr schnell in ihr Herz. Man behandelte uns wirklich sehr freundschaftlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends konnte man bei netten Gesprächen den Tag ausklingen lassen. Das Appartment verfügte über zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, einem großen und einem kleinen Badezimmer sowie einer kleinen Kochniesche. Die Küche reichte unseren Anforderungen völlig aus. Da wir tagsüber stets unterwegs waren und essen gingen, mussten wir nicht viel kochen. Falls einem etwas fehlte oder man fragen hatte, wurde einem stets sehr freundlich geholfen. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es fussläufig einen guten Italiener, der auch liefert und eine tolle kleine strandbar am Wasser, die auch burger und einheimische Speisen für kleines Geld anbietet. Ausserdem gibt es kleine Geschäfte um Lebensmittel einkaufen zu können. Der Bus nach Dubrovnik -Altstadt hält direkt vor der Ferienanlage und fährt ohne umsteigen direkt in die Innenstadt. Ein Auto ist trotzdem von Vorteil um z.b die vielen kleinen wunderschönen Buchten entdecken zu können. Unser Fazit: Im Gegensatz zu einer großen Hotelanlage, ist man hier viel persönlicher und ruhiger untergebracht. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, bei dem es uns an nichts fehlte und wir werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit.

Hübsche kleine Anlage

Es hat uns gut gefallen in der Anlage. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und geben gerne Tipps für Einkäufe, Gastronomie etc. Die Wohnung war (abgesehen von der Küche) gross genug und komfortabel. Ein super Balkon sticht besonders hervor. Ein schöner, sauberer Pool rundete das Ganze ab. Einzig die etwas laute Strasse vor dem Grundstück hat uns etwas gestört. Der Bus in die Innenstadt fährt quasi vor der Tür, so dass man komfortabel direkt bis zum Pile Tor in Dubrovnik gebracht wird. Eine gute Pizzeria ist in 3 Minuten Laufweg erreichbar, die man wirklich empfehlen kann. Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt hier in der gut gepflegten Anlage (wirklich schöner Garten :-) ), vielen Dank.

Modern, comfortable and as expected

The hosts were friendly and helpful and generally informative. However on the sporting facilities it mentioned mountain biking and cycling and when asked they were not able to give us any information on either of these pursuits. A regular bus service meant we were able to go into the old city whenever we wanted. The weather was great and we were able to sit out in the evening and enjoy the pool during the day.

We stayed at Villa Celenca for eleven nights in September. The owners welcomed us warmly and were attentive to every need we had. The house is lovingly cared for with lots of fruit growing in the gardens plus the owners make their own wine from their grapes and generously gave us a bottle which was indeed delicious. The apartment was outstandingly clean and comfortable. Air-conditioning was very welcome as the weather was around 27 to 29 degrees every day. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a fridge, hob, kettle, pans and utensils plus a mop, brush and dustpan. Guests should bring, or purchase when there, their own pool towels, toiletries, including hand soap, shower gels, shampoos plus kitchen necessities such as washing up liquid. The apartment is in a quiet location with five restaurants/bars in the vicinity. The nearest is ‘Rosa Bianca’ which provided excellent Italian food at a very reasonable price. ‘Bógó’ restaurant, overlooking the inlet, is about a ten minute walk away. This is a little more expensive but worth it. The menu is varied; we can recommend the fresh fish, tuna and the beef. There are two pizza restaurants in the village of Mokosica (above the apartment) which are basic but good for the money, plus a bar which serves a limited menu down by the sea edge just a little further to the right as you leave the house. There are a few small supermarkets around the area plus bakeries where you can buy freshly baked warm bread in the morning. The bus stops across the road. The journey into Dubrovnik centre takes between twenty to thirty minutes depending on how busy it is. All journeys cost 15 kunas if purchased on the bus, or 12 kunas if purchased from a ticket kiosk - these can be found at various places, the main ones being the bus station and Pile Gate stops. The apartment has a stunning view of the inlet where you can watch the ships and yachts come and go whilst sitting on on the large balcony. The pool area was superb for relaxing and enjoying a swim in beautiful surroundings. The owners are warm and welcoming and are available to help whenever needed but are careful not to intrude. They made our stay extremely enjoyable and we hope to visit again very soon.

Clean, good location may not be ideal for children

Very clean, great location, easy to get the bus. Great restaurant really cheap, good food nearby. We spent most of our days out and about, owners live in the building and are lovely, we had homemade cake and wine. There are lots of rules especially regarding use of the pool which families with children may struggle with especially if you have days in by the pool. No splashing/jumping in!!

Good value v clean and comfortable residence. Owners live on site and are there most of the time.

Apartment is appx 6km from old town Dubrovnik just off a main road so there is regular traffic noise. Bus stop outside for old town v convenient half hour journey. Our apartment no. 3 had a lovely terrace 2 good size bedrooms, a living room and 2 bathrooms and also a very tiny kitchen,just 2 rings so you are limited if you want to self cater. The owners were polite and helpful with suggestions for day trips. They work very hard every day maintaining their beautiful garden and the property and grow fruit veg and vines. They kindly gave us a bottle off their own wine and lovely cherries from the garden. There are house rules such as no jumping into the pool no eating in pool area and no use of pool after 7pm. These could make a stay here with children a little challenging. The pool is small but very welcome. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had a car which I recommend to make the most of sightseeing along the fabulous coastline of the area . A lovely casual bar Vapor on the waterfront 5 mins walk from the apartment is recommended and also restaurant Rosa Bianca 6 min walk away and Bogo 15 mins on the other direction.There isn't a whole lot else in the area as regards bars and restaurants

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung

Anna's House

Clean flat and all basics present. Slightly out of the way from Dubrovnik old town, bus trip approximately 20 minutes on very busy buses. Buses are very regular and reliable. Anna is a lovely charming lady and very helpful to guests. Limited to a small handful of restaurants / bars in local area. Overall a pleasant stay.

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in a building with 2-3 others, highly recommended for the price

This 2 bed apartment was just delightful, around 20 min bus ride from the old town which run 2-3 times an hour and right across from a bus stop,. Decent sized balcony with lovely views of the sea inlet and the New Bridge. The family were so helpful to us with tips on where to eat locally and there was a little path across the road which in 5 mins takes you to a little bar Shack, on the water, open all day and hidden from the main road which is excellent to hang out it through the day and in the evening (one night with live music when we were there) if you don't fancy the trip into town that night. Supermarket 300m away and a pizzeria 100m. It's next to main road but I didn't find traffic intruded on my book with a glass of wine. Very reasonably priced and you'd pay much more in town where it's much busier. Here you can stroll along the waters edge of an evening and enjoy the quiet and still close enough to town we didn't need to hire a car for first time in ages. Air conditioning and internet worked well. Perfect base to explore the area. Highly recommended and thanks to Zucalo family. We'll be back!

Great place to relax

Great place to relax by the pool within easy reach of the Old Town. Very clean modern apartments with great balcony. Nearby shop, 2 or 3 bars and a couple of restaurants. Regular, cheap bus service into the Old Town. Takes about 20 mins. Friendly, helpful hosts.
