Modern, Beautiful canal front home!

Enjoy this home on a dead end street. Very peaceful. Park your boat on canal just outside the sliding glass door.

Brand new furnace and central air conditioning.

Private beach access along with a private boat launch 50 yards out the front door.

New seawall installed in fall of 2020. New sidewalk, sod, composite deck overlooking the canal done in 2021.

Unwind after a fun day in the sun with the beautiful outdoor fire pit on a new cement slab.

Fish from the large seawall. Great fishing!

Great communication with Brad and the upstairs loft space was perfect for the kids! Decor inside is updated and very cute. We will be back again.

Great property

We enjoyed this place so much that we’re coming back in a few months. We were fishing and there’s plenty of parking for our boats and trucks, along with a private boat ramp. So convenient!

A Hidden Gem

Im not sure why there are not interior pictures ... the place is perfect ... Our family had a great time , plenty of comfortable spaces ... yard is great , plenty of dogfish and catfish... neighbors are the bomb ....i will rent this home again without needing to see what else is available... Thanks for the perfect vacation spot !

Saginaw Bay fishing

Very clean and comfortable. Brad was very helpful in sharing places to fish. One minor problem. The only table inside had only three chairs. No table in the kitchen. Made logistics for meals a bit difficult …especially when using the outside patio was impossible due to inclement weather. But overall this was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed on the Bay!

Reasonable cost but could have been much cleaner.

2 week reservation w/ family for my daughter’s wedding. Ample parking. If you have arachnophobia this definitely is not for you. Entrance into house meant going through spider webs covering the door. This persisted every time you walked through doorway until bug spray eradicated the offenders around door. On arrival fridge was filthy, door was filled in its entirety w/ old crusty salsa containers, open condiments, chocolate syrup containers etc. Freezer contents had freezer burn, broken shelf. Reserved for 2 weeks shouldn’t fridge be empty & clean? More spiders. In our bedroom every few days had to squash ‘all the visitors’. Nuisance walking through sliding doors or using yard furniture. Last day I counted a dozen spiders in the kitchen. I live in the country & I am used to bugs/spiders. I suggest getting a service to take care of them. We had friends staying a block away at another larger VRBO. We spent time at their rental, not a spider or web anywhere! It isn’t the area. Plus their fridge was empty & clean when they arrived! Sand Point lost power w/ 4 days left in reservation. Host had a gas generator which kept refrigerator going & gave us light for a couple of days. Thankful for that. Having dock for my pontoon right on the property was fantastic. Some dock boards are trip hazards & need repair. Some light switches w/o plates. Told by host hot tub cannot be used even though in pics. So much potential. Looking for a place in the future, won’t be here.

Hi, sorry for your experience but I felt I had to respond. This was our 1st bad review in 4 years of hosting. I apologize for your experience staying with us. To address a few things. This is a lake house. Yes, spiders are bad certain times of the year living right on the water. We do have a service that sprays and we do also. We have a wonderful cleaner and you had text me almost daily with questions and never mentioned any spiders and I am assuming there were none when you arrived. In regards to the fridge, I do apologize and let you know the reason we didn't empty it like normal as we had an emergency. You said it was OK and had plenty of room. In regards to the hot tub, I did let you know it's not part of the rental (liability reasons) and it is also not listed on the website as part of the rental. I will take your advice about the spiders that you said were an issue, and will let the company that services our property know. Thanks for renting with us.

Labor day weekend

My stay at Brad's listing was very welcoming. Place was clean and Brad was very accommodating. Will definitely be back to rent next summer.

Better than expected

With very little pictures I was a little unsure renting this home but don't be. Location was amazing for us having a boat. Inside is very well updated and cozy. The owner is very quick to respond and went over and above. I have stayed in 4 houses on sand point over the last couple years and I would go back to this one as my first choice!
