Not sure how it could have been better....

Myself and 3 buddies stayed here for a 4 day fishing trip. This place is excellent! There was plenty of room to park our 2 boats with trucks with room left over. The beds are comfortable and so is the furniture. One of our favorite things was that it is walking distance to Bumpers, a great restaurant. We plan to come back to Lake St Claire and we will stay here again for sure.

Amazing stay!

We had such a great stay!! The house was very well stocked and we had everything and more that we could have needed. The view of the water is amazing! We grilled out, had fires in the fire pit, relaxed and fished right off the dock. Great location with a couple of walkable places to eat. Great communication from the host and we would definitely stay here again!! I literally can’t think of one negative thing to say!

Excellent home on St Clair

While searching for a home near the water on St Clair for a fishing trip, I found this newly listed house in the water. This home is perfect! Very fisherman friendly, house is beautiful and very comfortable! The view off the back is outstanding! Owner was quick to answer questions and offer anything we needed, if you are bringing a small group to St Clair for fishing I highly recommend this home!

Fishing trip

House was in good location for fishing - very close to Anchor Bay and not too bad from st Clair shores. House itself was fine and matched pics and listing. Disappointed with boat ramp on property (not recommended to use upon checkin) and boat docks (use at own risk after checkin). We went there to fish and picked this spot due to both; thus, the disappointment as neither was included in listing. If you are a fisherman, just know that the ramp is useless and the docks aren’t good (undersized cleats, not enough tie offs, no bumpers/fenders, etc) so come prepared. Good trip overall - caught a ton of fish!

Hi Lewis, We thank you for staying at our house and super glade the fishing was great for you. Regarding the ramp, we intentionally do not mention it in the ad and state that a ramp is 4 miles away. Recent high waters have compromise it. Sorry for this inconvenience. Regarding the cleats we had some but replaced boards and forgot to put them back. They have served our purpose, but you are absolutely correct that they need to be bigger. We will replace immediately. Thank you for the feedback. And we hope it doesn’t deter you from staying again. Thank you, Troy
