This beautiful and light filled space boasts 12 foot ceilings and exposed brick throughout. Enjoy the well appointed kitchen to cook a quick meal, or walk out your front door and enjoy a plethora of local restaurants at your fingertips! The bedroom boasts a comfortable king sized bed with a small office nook with a desk! Enjoy views of downtown Depot Town and the train from your livingroom window!

Please know that the livingroom wall is adjacent to a resident next door. Please be respectful with the volume of the TV, music, and your voice!

Historic depot town is a joy to explore! Check out Sidetrack, Maiz, or Aubrees for Dinner, Hyperion for coffee, and a handful of boutique shops to explore. There is a local farmers market on Saturdays during the summer!

Feel free to walk, uber, or bike around! There are plenty of transport options (including a bus)!

PLEASE NOTE: There is a train that passes nearby the space as well as a restaurant on the first floor of the building. This apartment is two floors above Mash Bar. Mash bar is open Wednesday-Saturday from 6pm-1am. There is usually live music playing and the sound should be a consideration for those who consider themselves to be light sleepers!

The place was awesome. Very communicative host. Easy check in, clean place, easily accessible. I saw comments about the train noise, wasn’t nearly as loud as I expected. I will be starting here again.

A beautiful place right downtown

My friend and I loved our stay for our girls night getaway! This space has an absolutely gorgeous interior at a perfect location with walking distance to parks, bars and restaurants. There is even a nice restaurant on the first floor!

Weekend in Ypsilanti

Everything about our stay was perfect. The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. The location was great. Check-in was smooth and the host was always responsive any communications. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Wonderful cozy apartment

The apartment/loft was well appointed, cozy, and a pleasure. It met all of our needs and was centrally located to shopping and several niche museums. We highly recommend a stay here.

Quick business stay

This is a really cool space! Although my stay was very short (less than 12 hrs.), I felt very "at home." I'll be coming back in town for business again, and will definitely book again.

Great Stay in Depot Town

Really enjoyed our stay in Depot Town. Check in was easy and our host was proactive in communications. Walkable to bars and restaurants in depot town and downtown. The loft was very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again.

Incredible Property!

Just an incredible loft in Depot Town in Ypsi! All the amenities you could want for a couple to hang out and enjoy a relaxing evening away! The location is great with Thompson Restaurant below and a bunch of other bars and restaurants a block from the place. 5 stars across the board!

Cozy welcoming flat

We loved our visit to this little neighborhood and it was a perfect place to relax after doing some day trips to Detroit and Ann Arbor. Everything was cozy and comfy and very clean. We did not cook, but the kitchen is well stocked and if you need to do some laundry, it has a washer and dryer! We felt very safe and loved watching the Amtrak train fly by. We would highly recommend this place.

Charming & Comfortable!

We are so happy with this choice!

This was the ideal space for our visit of 5 days. Immaculate, comfortable bed and furnishings. Train noise was almost imperceptable and sparse. Great restaurant and bar downstairs. I love the windows, artwork, view of trees.

Pleasant stay!

Our stay was pleasant and the communication was great. The only thing I would recommend is notifying the renter about specific parking options and limitations a few days more in advance. Other than that, we had a great experience in a lovely loft!

Another decent stay...

Again, the location, building and loft were all nice. The bar 2 floors below had loud, live music playing until midnight on both Friday and Saturday nights. We were also stuck going to the laundromat in pajamas with a trash bag full of wet clothes when the clothes dryer didn't work. Other than that, we were pretty pleased.

Wonderful Apartment

The check-in process was easy and so quick! Upon arrival, we found our parking spot and we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the apartment was. It was very clean and spacious; the decorations were very pretty. I appreciated all the amenities, such as kitchen supplies and towels for both the bathroom and kitchen. The bed was super comfortable and so big! Overall, the apartment was soooo nice. We really loved our stay and would love to stay again.

Excellent!

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location! We loved being in depot town within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the food co-op! Even though it’s located in town it felt peaceful and quiet, with an occasional train passing by. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, and we really appreciated all the care and thought that went into planning the space - it felt clean but not cold, somewhat upscale but still homey, and very open and inviting with its high ceiling and exposed brick. We also loved having a washer and dryer in the apartment, and the consideration of the host having unscented laundry soap available there. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Nice, but...

The unit itself was very nice and clean. No complaints about the actual loft. I have mobility issues and was disappointed that the elevator didn't work for the first day. My biggest complaint was that the host communication was lacking. Before I actually arrived, they had good communication. Once I checked in, they never replied to any of my messages. I would get generic messages from them, with things like check-in/check-out steps... But, not one addressing my concerns.

Great location, but not good for a long stay

We had no issues with train or restaurant noise, very mild and easy to live with. Location and decor was very nice, dedicated parking a plus. We quickly learned that the dryer was not working and it took multiple attempts to come to a workable solution with the host. Our trip was 8 days 7 nights and involved weather and outdoor activities. Working laundry for this trip was crucial and disappointing when not available. We were only provided with one hand towel and 2 bath towels for an entire week. Host was slow to respond and responded very late at night. Neighbors TV would be on and loud on shared wall to the bedroom at 1 am in the morning. Other near neighbors left mounds of stinky shoes in shared hallway and dog poop in bags on door mat. This is a wonderful town full of vibrant people and worth a visit. Unfortunately this was not a vacation spot, but a college kids building situation. Interesting note, Host removed his listing right after we stayed here and so we are unsure anyone will ever see our review. We love VRBO and use it often. This our first disappointing trip after many years. We need to be back again next year and will be seeking different, more reliable accommodations.
