The rooms were clean. Host was responsive. One dining chair failed a repair. New dining set is being delivered our last day. Not an issue for us. Did not find the bathroom/shower cleaner until we were about to leave, though. Was in the kitchen where I wouldn’t have stored it. Bought our own dish liquid as the one supplied was weak. Some doors stuck or were sticky. Lawn probably could be mowed. Did not realized this was smoking rental. Faint, but very noticeable for non-smokers.

This house is definitely not a smoking house. There is no sign whatsoever that someone has smoked in there and as far as the lawn, the lawn is not even long and it’s on a weekly schedule just because the shower cleaner isn’t where you would put it doesn’t make it wrong. Glad you enjoyed your stay

This host was exceptional in meeting our needs after a horrendous first night at another VRBO location. We urgently needed a new location as the first location had significant security issues. This host came through with a short notice reservation that exceeded our expectations. Easy check in to a clean and secure property in a quiet residential location. Holiday decor was welcoming as was the coffee nook and fully equipped kitchen. Clear and constant communication was simple with this host. Highly recommend this location when Detroit area is your destination.

Caution: The location was convenient for my needs (Aldi, Meijer, Kroger close by), quiet neighborhood, pet friendly (fenced in back yard), and hosts are communicative. I was there for 11 days to rehab my daughter after ACL surgery. Upon moving in, there were ants in the bathroom/shower and some of the bedroom dresser drawers, I had to replace 5 light bulbs that were burned out, one of the cabinets had a "honey-like" sticky substance on the shelf liner noted when putting groceries away, the stove top had to be cleaned, the grill was out of propane, and the lawn hadn't been mowed in quite some time. Additionally, there was grit on the sheets in one of the bedrooms leading to the sheets needing to be washed before use, but there was no detergent in the unit. That being said, the owners did promptly bring propane when notified, and the lawn did get mowed while I was there. I had part of my damage deposit withheld because the host and I disagreed on damage to a table that I thought was present upon move in. I'd suggest taking photos of any damage upon check in.

Greg had a fantastic stay he told my husband when he was there mowing the lawn. He also told me he was going to to retaliate and leave a bad review because he ruined the kitchen This home is beautiful just read the other reviews.

Very nicely staged. Everything in the photos is just as pictured. Overall we had a nice stay. Great location in a good neighborhood. We were only there for two nights in town to visit family. But the devil is in the details. I had to do some cleaning to feel comfortable staying. I cleaned some mold from the fridge and mopped the kitchen floor. The floor had a general stickiness to it throughout the house. I would hire new cleaning people ASAP. They need to be vacuuming the vent covers, including the one in the shower. Actually, I would replace most of the vent covers as they look rusty. The doors and trim need to be repainted. They weren’t very well done in the first place and dirt is just clinging to them. I would recommend two coats of a semigloss so they can be wiped down easily. There are some other details that made me feel like I was staying with a relative who is not very good at DIY home repair and it made the overall feeling less than clean. (Lots of places with dirt on walls, cobwebs in corners, brown gunk on shower wall, not all lights work, light bulbs missing, caulk needs redone in several places. ) It was overall a decent enough house, just a lot of little details that made me not want to hang out there. Very cute decor, though!
