For a real vacation from the ordinary, reserve a stay at Cedar Top, a beautiful cabin in the Douglas Lake Resort of Sevierville, Tennessee. While Cedar Top is not on the waterfront, you will be minutes from the boat ramp and dock where you can launch onto beautiful Douglas Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in Tennessee.

The cabin is set in the woods where you can explore hiking trails, swim at the community pool (in season) and relax on the covered deck in the great outdoors. There is nothing like enjoying your morning coffee out on the deck with the birds singing and nature coming alive for a new day. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are within easy driving distance, too.

You can spend your days fishing, boating, jet skiing, canoeing, and swimming. Then return to Cedar Top to enjoy a fire in your gas fireplace, play games or watch a little TV on the 42” screen with Direct TV.

You will love the room’s knotty pine interior and the lofty ceilings. Upstairs there is a loft with table tennis along with toys for the smaller kids and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. You will also find a 37” TV with both Direct TV and a DVD player in case you want to watch a movie together one evening.

Hiking and playing on the water create big appetites so you will want to cook hearty meals in the fully equipped Cedar Top kitchen. You will find everything you need tucked away in the drawers and cabinets along with plenty of room to store your food. You can dine indoors or out on the covered deck. There is also a gas grill where you can cook steaks, burgers or fish you are planning on catching.

The two Cedar Top bedrooms are on the main floor. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, and the second bedroom offers a queen-size bed. Each bedroom has a connected bathroom. There is also a stacked washer and dryer so you can keep everyone in clean clothes.

Once you visit Cedar Top cabin, you will want to return repeatedly to experience the pleasures of cabin life in the Douglas Lake Resort.
