This house has a modern vibe with 100 year old historic charm that people love. Enjoy it’s wide staircase, original hardwood floors, high ceilings, and incredible woodwork! Get ready in any of the three newly renovated and oversized family bathrooms! The luxury kitchen downstairs comes with concrete countertops, farm sink, butler’s kitchen, and copper drink station. Giant dining table seats 10 with elbow room! The third floor is a studio apartment abs another great place to hang out and watch movies, do laundry with the additional washer and dryer set, or prepare meals in the full kitchen! Enjoy coffee in the huge downstairs sunroom, or get work done in the upstairs sunroom! Kick back on the front porch or dine in style on the back deck! Walk two blocks to the Midtown Market for ANYTHING you forgot to pack or for a fresh smoothy. Walk 5 minutes or less to do arts and crafts, sushi, ice cream, chicken and waffles, Greek food, the public library, the Nelson Adkins museum, the post office, or enjoy some of KC’s hottest eateries, shopping, and nightlife that the Country Club Plaza or Westport has to offer! We loved this place. It’s so charming and was perfect for a family gathering. It has the perfect mix of updates blended with the beautiful original character of the house. It’s well stocked with essentials, we cooked all but one meal the entire week. The host is welcoming and easy to work with. We will be back.

The very charming and tastefully done older home. 3 beautiful floors and a basement- partially finished. We had Christmas at this home. It was decorated beautifully, with a decorated Christmas Tree. We had 5 kids and 6 adults. Everyone had their own space and the boys all bunked together in the attic. Coffee time was awesome too. Everyone around the table at once. It was just perfect!

Outstanding home! We were celebrating a Thanksgiving family reunion. The home had everything we could need to cook, entertain, relax and rest. We loved the new basement entertaining area and appreciated all the linens and kitchen essentials. Communication with Levi and Erin was exceptional. This home was in a convenient, safe location for experiencing the KC holiday festivities. We are looking forward to staying again soon.

Plenty of room for our family of 13. Loved the big table in dinning room to gather. Voted best thing about the house - the ice machine!! Would recommend the VRBO.

This is a beautifully restored home with lots of room and welcome features. It worked very well for our large group of 9. The place was spotless, generously appointed and comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and generous in how the home may be used. The neighborhood is well-positioned near Westport and the fine art museum (both a 10 minute walk) and The Plaza (a little father; 5 minute drive). The neighborhood felt like it is in transition to a more upscale area, but was safe. The website, photos and description were all accurate save for a little confusion over the number of bedrooms and sleeping spaces. It is a great set up for large groups. We had a wonderful time, made all the more so by this great house. Highly recommended and we all said we would want to stay there again the next time we are in KC.

Great Hosts, Great House!

Rented this house for a bachelor party. The hosts were super communicative and very hospitable. The house feels like a home. The area is really cool and its a short walk (12 minutes) to the Westport neighborhood which has bars, nightlife, etc. Plenty of parking in the huge driveway. The house is old and historic but has been recently updated in all the right places (e.g. the AC works incredibly well, the bathrooms and bedrooms are completely re-done, new counters and appliances in the kitchen. Highly recommend this place for a large group!

Historical fun in KCMO

This property was a gorgeous home. The inside was impeccable. Beautiful paint trim. A gorgeous old home. It could not have been any cleaner. The one question that I had, the owner stepped up immediately and got me exactly what I needed. The home was big and beautiful. Loved everything about it. Thank you for a great stay with our extended family.

Great stay for bachelorette weekend!!

This was an amazing place to stay!! The hosts were great communicators and the home served our every need for our large group of 12! Great accommodations and even had drinks and bathroom supplies provided in excess!! Very comfortable and clean rooms/beds. Great location too! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Girls trip

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The only downfall was the house listed a king, queen, and twin on the 3rd level and the the queen was a bean bag chair that turned queen but felt more like a giant dog bed, not comfortable; would have liked an actual queen bed for our size group. Loved how it was a quick 8min to downtown.

Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 6 children. A great house that brought back memories of when I was a kid. Plenty of room for each of three families to spread out and also great space for family meals and games. The house is close to everything to see in downtown KC. This VRBO has every amenity that you could ever need. Check-in was a breeze and we loved the easy process. If you are looking for a great experience in KC, this is the place for you and your family!!

Highly recommend. The VRBO itself is stunning. We were greeted with welcoming music playing and great vibes. The building is so spacious and we had plenty of room. I can’t recommend it enough. We all had a great time in a great atmosphere!

Adult weekend getaway

Wonderful home for our adult weekend getaway. We gathered with 5 adult couples all coming together to celebrate a few of our 40th birthdays. The pictures on the listing were accurate, but the house still blew me away when we arrived. My husband said “oh my gosh this place is huge!” All 5 couples had a comfortable and beautiful room/bed. Bathrooms were plentiful and stocked with necessities and extras. The dining table fit 10 adults around comfortably. We loved having the wet bar space for making drinks and storing our drink items. We had space to cook, room to spread out and relax, but also space to all sit around together as a group. The home accommodated all our needs/wants and then some. Anyone curious about the location (let’s be honest, it can sometimes be a little sketchy downtown and around the area), we were pleasantly pleased. We felt safe and secure. Neighbors were fine, the street was quiet (Friday and Saturday stay.) We had 5 cars all parked safely down the back of the house and driveway. Nobody had to park on the street. We came and went a few different times via Uber and always felt comfortable standing outside waiting for our rides or being dropped back off later in the evening hours after dark. Communication with the host was quick and efficient and extremely helpful. I had questions and they were always answered promptly through the VRBO messaging feature. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
