Spacious and beautiful but there’s something’s I wish I knew before I booked.
The house was the perfect size for our family’s vacation. Kitchen was fully stocked and the bunk bed room had tons of games for the kids. It was close enough to town that it didn’t take long to get anywhere but far enough that we didn’t have to deal with the busyness of the holiday week. We were so excited to use the outdoor kitchen. However, the grills were not well maintained full of bugs and grease like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Since it was so hot and the mosquitos were monsters we didn’t even try to look for anything to clean them. But honestly that should be something the cleaners make sure to have ready for the next guest. Also the extra room with the king size bed looked amazing in pictures however this is just an add on to the house with zero insulation. So on a record breaking heat wave week like the 4th that room was impossible to cool down. Thankfully the house had some box fans but they barely helped. We ended up sleeping on the couch most of the stay. Other than that the house was great. We were able to sit in the front yard and watch the firework show perfectly.
