Welcome to The River's Bend #12. My Husband and I have lived in Taylor County, FL our entire lives. We grew up fishing and scalloping along the Taylor County coastline and can't imagine living anywhere else. We own Steinhatchee Bait and Tackle and I am a Realtor and Property Manager. We love helping folks visit and make some unforgettable memories. Whether you need to know the best food places, the local hideaway fishing spots, or where the scallops are being found while you are here, we can help. Give us a call or stop by the bait shop. We always encourage everyone that has never been here before to book a charter on day 1, not the last day. On Day 1 you can get a view of the area and the captain will show you around. After that you can take your boat or rent one and have a great time. The worst thing to do is come with the family and try to find everything yourself for 3 days and the family gets frustrated. Sitting directly on the gorgeous Steinhatchee River, this home is so relaxing. You have the best views of the sunrise and you can drink your coffee on the deck and enjoy nature and peace and quiet before the rest of the town wakes up. You have a private boat ramp (yes, concrete boat ramp so you don't have to fight the crowds) with a boat dock with first come first serve slips, a pool, clubhouse, paved streets, walking paths, gazebo on the river with a grill and much more. Steinhatchee is just 3 miles wide but oh the views. Don't miss the sunset in the parking lot of Roy's Restaurant. You'll get to meet the sunset gang.
