Fabulous Villa in a superb location
Just returned from two weeks in this Villa and was very impressed. The building itself is only 3 years old and is as a result immaculate. The pool with built in Jacuzzi, extensive outside seating area, outside BBQ and undercover area was excellent and the sauna and gym was a huge bonus.
Credit has to go to the owner, Ines who was outstanding and sorted a few issues quickly and efficiently following a dramatic electrical storm on our second day that knocked out the power and wifi. The villa is almost equidistant between Zadar and Split and is well placed to use as a base for exploring the beautiful Northern Coast of Croatia.
Couple of important points to note:
The villa is effectively in two parts, the main area on the ground floor next to the pool with three ensuite double bedrooms and a separate 2nd floor apartment with its own access with another double bedroom, kitchen, washing machine and dryer, gym, sauna and balcony with outstanding views. As we have an 18 year old son this was a godsend giving him privacy away from his little sister when he wanted it. This would also be great for families travelling with older teens and their partners as it gives total privacy with access to the rest of the shared area when wanted. This is very much a positive not a negative, but worth being aware of if you are a large young family.
The Villa is 15km/20 mins from the nearest decent supermarket by car, that said it’s a very well equipped store with everything you could need including a coffee shop and bakery in store. As a keen cook we ate out alternate nights and I catered the rest of the time and the Villa was great in supporting this with a well equipped kitchen and large internal and external dining areas. The main benefit of the location is the peacefulness of the area in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what we wanted to switch off, sunbath, read books and relax.
