This is a wonderful place just south of Thermopolis Wyoming with great hwy access. It sits on one quarter mile of Bighorn river frontage. This home was built in 2015, it has a wonderful patio overlooking the river.

Nice location for what we needed but it wasn't very clean. Lots of bugs and shattered patio door covered by cardboard. Everytime we went outside and shut the opposite door pieces of glass came out on the concrete. No towels for showering and very little household/kitchen needs. The beds were decent and there was coffee.

Beautiful river view with variety of birds and a muskrat. Did not catch fish but saw them jump. Fishing access is a little more difficult for older people. House was nice, but could use some maintenance like broken glass french door, missing light bulbs, dishwasher out of service, breaker tripped a couple of times for the living room light. Nice covered parking. Alton (host) helpful and friendly, lives next door, but you would never know it. Easy to find and get in and out of. Nice big bathroom. Enjoyed our stay.

The best thing about this house is that it is right on the river and you can float directly there from Wedding of the Waters. It is small and clean though the bedroom fan was broken and the patio door glass window was broken and boarded up with cardboard. Also there were no towels to use in bathroom and I don't remember seeing that anywhere so that people know to bring their own. It is a comfortable house and the owner was very nice but I was surprised to find out the owners house is right next door. The pictures on line are all taken from one direction so that you don't know there that.

As advertised! Literally feet from the river and a very relaxing place to sit out at night and enjoy the views. It’s is also literally feet from the highway but the noise wasn’t terrible and I was there right before the 4th of July. Home was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful scenery

We just loved staying on the river here! My boys caught fish right from the back yard. We even grilled them up for lunch. House was very spacious and just as pictured.

Steps from the river. At the edge of a cute town, short drive to Hot Springs State Park. We enjoyed our stay.

Cozy, Comfortable, & Clean!

This was our second stay at this adorable cozy and clean cabin on the river. Has carport to protect your vehicle’s paint job. Central A/C, large TV with lots of channels; very convenient location. Will stay again!

JR and Alton are excellent hosts who go above and beyond for you. The cabin was perfect for our stay. I highly recommend. Beautiful river right out the back door.

Awesome fishing

Super cute place. The owner is a really nice guy. Husband and kids had a great 2 days of fishing. Daughter caught a 22" brown trout.

Great Patio

This place could be five stars if it were a bit cleaner (and a bit updated). But I’m not there for decor but cleanliness is pretty important to me. Kitchen sink and counter had tiny ants (I found spray), couch was too dirty to sit on. Glass end tables all dusty, windows dirty and lots of bugs (mostly dead). Patio was completely awesome and relaxing. Just a bit of elbow grease and this place would be great.

Upon arrival we found out the listing didn’t have a hot tub or a queen bed as stated. We decided for the price we wanted to stay elsewhere so that we could have the amenities we wanted. He did give us a partial refund and changed the hot tub amenity on VRBO.

Perfect Location for Fly Fishing Guides

The location was perfect for three fly fishing guides who had clients booked for the weekend. Mid-way between Wedding of the Waters for put-in and the State Park for take-out, we found ourselves in the middle of a blizzard the second day on the water. We were able to pull up to the bank of the rental and cut the trip short per client's request. JR went above and beyond and is such a nice guy. Will be staying here again for sure.

Loved the river right out the back door! Nice patio to sit on. House is cozy and homey. Bed was comfy but is a double, not a queen like listing states. Bedding was clean and cozy. There is not a hot tub or spa tub as the listing states. Owner didn’t realize it was on the listing. Friendly and easy experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place and great location

House was immaculately clean when I arrived. The house is well appointed with all the essentials and the location is unbeatable. Walk out the back doors and you are right on the Big Horn River. A great place to sit and watch the river flow by with ducks, geese, and other wildlife ducking in and out. The location is less than 5 minutes to anywhere in town. I will definitely use again if I return to Thermopolis again.

Holiday Getaway

Fishing trip

Stayed in Thermopolis for 3 nights we loved the cabin, nice to have coffee and watch the mist rise off the river on a chilly clear amazing Wyoming morning.
