The house was super clean and the views were amazing. The pictures really do not do the inside of the house justice – it was much more comfortable and inviting than I was even expecting. If you are coming a different geography, just realize that this area is very steep hills so although the house is on a lot of land that does not mean a yard to play in.

Bring on the Zen!

We stayed at the cabin with our in-laws and absolutely loved it. The views were breath taking, the cabin was spacious but cozy and checking in and out were stress free! The host was very responsive as well. My in-laws raved about the stay :) I would not hesitate to book this home again!

Heaven on a Hill!

This is undoubtedly the BEST place to stay around Thermopolis! Stayed a week last summer, and another last week, and already looking at my calendar for next year. Incredible private location minutes from town, and the views are simply breathtaking! Host is fabulous too!

Views were undeniably great. Location good.Beautiful log cabin with upgraded finishes. Mattresses of poor quality, thin, and extremely hard like sleeping on floor.Cheap, flat pillows. Overall bad sleep.Horrible chemical stench originating from inside laundry cabinet with door closed. Husband sprayed Lysol every day; stench still lingered. Most likely a health hazard. Understand furnishing and cleaning and maintaining an STR is expensive and time-consuming; however, it helps to spend some more money on mattresses and bedding for a comfortable guest experience, along with cleaning out Host areas to prevent guests from becoming sick from chemicals. I am a 14 year VRBO host who did not want to report this, but thought future potential guests should be alerted in advance.

Jean, I’m sorry your stay was unsatisfactory. In three years of hosting, this is the first negative review I’ve had. I take pride in providing my guests a good, clean and comfortable place to stay. I personally do all the cleaning and am in and out of the laundry cabinet on a regular basis, and am a sensitive person to smell and have never had an issue with smells in there. But you could’ve let me known immediately and I would have gladly come cleaned it and done everything I can to fix the problem. The beds and pillows are about three years old and were brand new when I started hosting. I don’t personally sleep on them so don’t know their comfort, this is the first time I’ve received any comments on their comfort. Thank you for the constructive criticism, and I will do everything I can to make my home more perfect and comfortable for guests in the future.

Great Stop Over Outside Thermopolis

Super adorable log cabin on top of the mesa and yes, great views. Easy communication with the host. Comfortable beds, clean and uncluttered living spaces which I especially like. Really nice wrap around porch with comfortable seating to take in those views. I honestly thought it might be super noisy with the highway right below but it wasn't. Plus you are able to walk right out the back gate into public lands. Saw lots of antelope the days we were there. Just a note - we had a truck so the fairly steep, gravel drive was easy to navigate. My sedan may have had some difficulties. Thank you for the great stay!
