Welcome to your charming southern getaway in the heart of Avondale! Our recently restored historic house is just steps away from the eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and local hotspots that make Avondale so unique.
Step inside and you’ll immediately feel the warmth and character of this beautifully restored home. Enjoy a cup of coffee from our fully stocked coffee bar, complete with both coffee and Nespresso pods. Our kitchen has everything you need to whip up a home-cooked meal, and with grocery stores just a mile away, you won't have to venture far to stock up on supplies.
With 1 king and 2 queen beds, our home can comfortably accommodate families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing escape. And with free parking, fast wifi, and a pet-friendly policy, you can bring your whole crew along for the ride!

We had to book this house the night before we flew into Charleston as our previous home canceled on us last minute. What a pleasant surprise this house was. Lots of comfortable spaces for people to hang out and socialize. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. There is a super cute market at the front of the community. Dog friendly, younger crowd with kids in the area. Quiet at night, not noisey, no road traffic or anything that would keep you up at night. The location was perfect. Close to Park Circle, which had a bunch if little restaurants and places to hang out. It was also a straight shot into downtown Charleston, no bridges required. I could go on and on about thishouse and location. We would definitely stay here again.

Charleston Bachelorette Trip

We loved our stay at this house! It was just as advertised, fully stocked with all the basic essentials, and the decor was adorable! Easy check in and check out. We hosted a bridesmaids brunch in the backyard for my daughter and her bridesmaids- the newly added deck was so nice and the trees gave us much needed shade. The kitchen had everything we needed, even spices, trash bags, and serving pieces. Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking space.

Wedding weekend in Charleston

Stayed in the house for a family wedding weekend. the house was perfect for us and is in a great location to walk to great restaurants and bars. If we ever get back to Charleston, will definitely stay in the house again. Thank you for providing such a clean and comfortable house.

Beautiful home, amazing location

This home and location were perfect. Close to shopping, restaurants, and sports bars. Our group of 4 had plenty of space. The kitchen was well appointed too. We especially liked the personal touches from the owner - thanks so much for the wine. Highly recommend!!

Perfect and sweet

We needed a place in Charleston to visit our local family that gave us the flexibility of cooking and bringing our furry family members. It was a beautifully furnished, well located home with a fully stocked kitchen to cook in, ample seating and a lovely back yard. Excellent location near shopping and restaurants.

Family get together

We enjoyed our stay at 105 Hickory Street. The home was located within walking distance to a wine bar, brewery and restaurants. We were pleased with the condition of the home and information provided by the owner of places to visit in Charleston. Would recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit Charleston.

The Adorable Cottage

This property was well kept, clean and tidy. The front porch was a great place just to relax, read or visit with friends. Great restaurants within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All five adults were very happy with the property and would definitely encourage others to book there.

Wonderful stay in this quaint West Ashley house located close to everything. House was clean and well supplied as promised. Really enjoyed all the "extra touches". Overall, this house can't be beat for a Charleston family vaction. We'll be back next year!

Great place!

Loved the house and loved the location- so convenient to everything! Also loved all the little extras that the owner left for us. Just one note on this - the listing says this is a fenced back yard but it’s not fully enclosed as the fence is not connected to the house on one side. I brought my dogs and had planned to let my dogs run in the yard but wasn’t able to do that. However this was a minor inconvenience and I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay, Great location

We had such a great stay. The location was so convenient. We could walk to restaurants, coffee shops and breweries. Driving downtown was quick and easy (15 minutes). We even got in a beach day making it to Folly Beach in just 30 minutes. The property was clean and nicely renovated. We loved the wood floors and comfortable beds. The house comfortably sleeps 6 but with an air mattress and couch our kids were able to squeeze in rounding out a 9 person stay.

Perfect family home

Well supplied kitchen to make meals for my kids. Fabulous location to enjoy the Avondale area, near to folly road for beach access and downtown. Very walkable to shops, coffee, breakfast and wine bar. Home was super cozy, comfortable beds and pillows. Internet access was great and streaming TV options. The host even made the home available for early checkin and supplied bathrobes in the bedrooms. We plan to stay again when we visit next.

Great location

The house is walking distance to everything. It’s super clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Communicating with the owner was very prompt and she resolved everything. Had family popping in and out so I wasn’t sure how much space I’d need but this 3 bdrm did the trick. Thank you for a great stay!

I studied Hospitality & Tourism at the College of Charleston and it has been my dream to host you at my rental! My home is the clean, relaxing, Low Country experience you're looking for
I was born and raised in Charleston SC where I taught sailing for 8 years. Being raised in Charleston I was spoiled to be surrounded by great fishing, seafood and restaurants. I am now captain of a yacht experiencing other parts of the world. Being in the yachting industry, as well as a Hospitality major at the College of Charleston, has refined my host guest experience. I am confident my home with have everything you need whether you are in town for business or pleasure.

I have created a Welcome Binder that includes my Charleston Guidebook from a Local's Perspective. You will find this leather binder on the coffee table as you enter the home. This should provide answers to any questions you may have during your stay about the home as well as things to do around Charleston including; beach tips, seasonal activities, & restaurant favorites with printed menus to browse. Feel free to reach out to me via text or call if you need anything during your stay. Additional cleaning and/ or linen changes during your stay are available for an extra fee upon request.

Enjoy this recently restored southern historic house just steps from the heart of eclectic Avondale, filled with restaurants, a great local coffee shop and local brewery. Avondale is centrally located, steps from the West Ashley Greenway, only a short 8 minute drive to downtown Charleston, 20minutes to Folly Beach, and 15minutes from the Charleston International Airport

Front porch breeze, sippin' sweet tea lounging on rocking chairs? You have found your sanctuary in Charleston, SC. Open the front door to an open concept Charleston skinny/shotgun style space. The living room greats you first, as you continue to walk there is a reading nook or game space for kids, continuing on the dining space has a 6 person dining table and at the back of the house is the kitchen. Make yourself at home, as you're prepping game snacks in the kitchen you can still be apart of the action in the living room (and watch the game from the new smart TV). Along the other side of the home are the 3 bedrooms, all named after our local Charleston beaches; Isle of Palms, Sullivan's island, and Folly Beach. Between the Isle of Palms and Sullivan's island bedrooms is a Jack N Jill bathroom. Here you can appreciate the old charm of the home with the original vanity cabinet and trim work. The wooden floors are also original to the home, which gives the most character and beauty throughout. The primary bedroom is located in the back of the home and overlooks the back yard. Attached is the private bathroom with a double vanity, and water closet for added privacy. Lastly, from the kitchen, exit the back door and enjoy the back deck and fenced in back yard space. Only a 2 minute walk anywhere in the eclectic Avondale
