Welcome to Eagle Haven! We are located on Eagle lake, which is one of the 28 lakes on the the Eagle River Chain O' Lakes. Centrally located on the upper chain offering access to a number of restaurants and marina services. Explore the different lakes all connected by the Eagle River.
This home boasts magnificent lake views along with sunsets that you will never forget!

Our home offers all of the amenities and comfort that you desire in your Northwoods home. It boasts 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and accommodations for up to 16 guests.
Other highlights include a screen porch, deck, grill, fully equipped kitchen, linens, bedding, and disposable products for your stay.

Our swimming area is great for kids of all ages as there is a hard sandy bottom and a gradual slope out to the end of the docks. You can easily dock your boats there as well.

The following are available for use: -12’ aluminum row boat - canoe - two 10’ kayaks for adventuring/fishing

For winter fun, we are also located just off of the snowmobile trail system, offering hundreds of miles of groomed trails from your front door.

This rental experience was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The home is amazing! It’s everything the description says it is and more. It was extremely clean, roomy, cozy and inviting. Definitely plenty of gathering space for a large group and well equipped kitchen. There were not really 5 bedrooms though, just beds put everywhere downstairs. Also, would have appreciated a warning of the long, steep walk to the lake, also that we shared it with another house on the property.

Great place!

We really enjoyed watching the sunset on the beach with a campfire. Be sure to reserve boats before you get there. We had a great week at this cabin!

This is a very nice place in a great location on the Eagle River chain. Very nice kitchen and great room. Large dock in very good condition with a sandy bottom swim area that the kids enjoyed. We rented a pontoon boat and had fun exploring the entire chain. Owner was very responsive and helpful in sending us a hair drier that we left at the house. My only suggestion would be to replace some of the mattresses and replace the worn-out chairs in the screened-in porch. The screened in porch is a nice feature as well. Great family vacation spot!

Eagle Lake Stay

The house was beautiful and very clean, kitchen was well stocked, plenty of linens. Paper products were provided and dishwasher soap etc. Lake area and pier were very well kept. Property Host was welcoming and accommodating. Our family of 8 Adults and 6 children under 9 years had a great time.

Great family oriented property. We loved the water area between the 2 docks for the kiddos to play and learn to kayak in. The house offered different areas so we could be doing alot of different things at once, whether it was napping, reading, puzzling, card playing or whatever. We saw many deer in the area and a few came almost right up to the children which completely thrilled them! We also really liked the fire pit near the house so we could enjoy a fire on a cool day without having to go down to the water. The lake is beautiful and connected to many other lakes with fun establishments to stop and enjoy, even a floating ice cream pontoon! As for fishing, even our 4 year old caught fish off the dock! The sunsets and the stars were also really incredible. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!

Our family (7 adults /2 children) loved staying at this Eagle Lake home. A beautifully appointed & comfortable cabin, we enjoyed all the seating areas to accommodate many people. Kitchen was well equipped. The screened porch was a plus. Great lakefront. Lots of stairs to the lake & docks so a bit difffcult for older folks. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets & even saw the Northern Lights one night.

Great house, great owner

Amazing property and dealing with Guy was great. He went out of his way to help us, sent an email with lots of great information and then answered our questions for more personalized recommendations for our trip and to ensure the house was perfect - which it was. Beautiful property, great place to keep a boat and Guy made us feel like we knew our way around. We would give 10 stars and highly recommend.

We just spent an amazing week on Eagle Lake! Our family thoroughly enjoyed your place! We have been visiting the Eagle River area and staying on the chain since 1993 and your place far surpassed any place we have stayed at in the past! It was so comfortable and roomy for our family! The beautiful northwoods charm was felt throughout your home. You have really made it easy for guests with all the details….such as an abundance of towels, coffee filters, laundry soap, soap by the sinks, coffee filters, and a blender so us adults could enjoy a Brandy Alexander ice cream drink after a long day of fun on the water!! The kitchen was so well stocked!! These details are just to name a few! The wildlife in your yard was fascinating, with one of the deer coming right up to us. The location for us was perfect and we plan to come back! It was so nice to meet both of you and chat a bit!Cindy & Randy (608’ers!)

Great rental

We enjoyed our stay at the lake. Loved having a dock available for the week to keep our boat and the availability to the Lilly pad and water skis. Great location and beautiful sunsets. Steps down to water would be hard for the older generation. Screened porch was awesome and kitchen well stocked. Second fridge/freezer in lower level was huge too. Relaxed in mornings and nights with tons of wildlife as little friends right outside the door. Bunk beds were a tad squeaky when someone moves. Overall was a fantastic week and will hope to be back.

Week at the Lake

House was great. Could have a little better equipped kitchen supplies. No hot pads no can opener no whisk no cheese grader. Also quite a lot of steps to the water which had no l path lighting at night. Great lower level which worked out perfectly for our teenage grandsons. All in all a very nice property.

Where's the snow

Upon arrival my wife found mouse shit on all of the beds except two, which the host took care of promptly, thank you!! however our host never came back to the cabin to give us the remote to control the fireplace down stairs!! In the amenities section of the rental it stated that there was a hot tub, which there was not😭. Loved the location the advertised property was misleading and the host should have followed through with what he said he was doing. On another note the host worked with us on changing our stay dates which we greatly appreciated!

Abnormally warm climate conditions resulted in mouse problems that were never previously experienced. The Pest control contractor, which maintains the property, said this year mice were a problem with many of his customers. Property manager gave tenant a generous dinner gift certificate and the cleaning staff fixed everything ASAP. Tenant must have misread listing “steam shower” as hot tub and the downstairs fireplace that had missing remote is not listed due to not working because of unavailable parts. Wood-burning fireplace in living room works perfect.

This is our fourth lakeside rental in the Eagle River area. Hopefully it will be our last because we have found our perfect rental. The floor plan and sleeping arrangements although a little unique downstairs fit our needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings were perfect. The decorating is what you hope for when renting a northern Wisconsin lake house. The kitchen appliances and dishes were more plentiful and better than one has the right to expect. The other necessities were high quality. There were twelve bath towels in the upstairs bathroom not to mention hand towels and wash clothes or the similar supply for the downstairs bathroom. The hosts, Guy and Christy, were pleasant and helpful. We stayed only one week but felt like we made two new friends. The dock was great for both our pontoon and our fishing boat. To emphasize how much we enjoyed our stay we have already made our reservation for next June. I just don’t know how it could get any better. Did I mention the screened in porch and the covered unloading area? There is more I could say but I think you get the idea. If you stumble upon this place you can stop looking.

Nice property but the water (well) went out for a day. Booked the property for an annual snowmobile trip but there was no snow. I was unable to get a refund so half the group stayed at the property for the week. The added insurance I purchased from Global was a joke. They DO NOT cover the lack of snow. The only reason people go to the North Woods in the winter is to snowmobile or ice fish.This was a waste of money for the group and VRBO needs to look int another insurance company to partner with.

Property manager fixed water problem (well) day of contact. Owner contacted Vrbo account mgr. suggesting that Vrbo upgrade their insurance coverage for lack of snow conditions. Any reservation should inquire as to the insurance coverage and consider trip insurance.

Family summer vacay in the north woods

The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked and house nicely decorated. The lake access would not work for those with mobility issues but it was fine for our family. There were 2 kayaks and one canoe for use. There was a sand area for young ones to play in. The bedroom arrangement was unusual. Upstairs 2 bedrooms and 2 baths were small but totally fine. Lower level was weird because there was a large room like a second living room with a king bed and no privacy whatsoever. Those who used the other lower level bedrooms (a bunk bed in the hallway and a large family bedroom) had to walk right through that room. No one wanted to take that big room as their bedroom for that reason. Suggest drapes or room divider for privacy. Very modern lower level bathroom. The WiFi was iffy and even after someone came to make improvements it still was not very good for my two adult daughters who had to work from “home.” The north woods area is beautiful with lots of deer and eagles. I can’t say this was a 5 bedroom house in my opinion as stated in description. work from “home.” Theupstairs

Great cabin for our group of 13. Location was great. We rented a boat and jet ski during our stay and had a great time on the water and exploring the chain. I will say the cabin is really a 3 bedroom. There are only 3 bedrooms with doors that shut. There is a king bed in the living room downstairs and a bunk bed in the hallway off the living room. There was a curtain that separated the king bed/living room and bunk bed. It ended up working for us, but the listing could describe this greater detail. The kayaks are also shared between two rental homes. This was not described in the listing. There are two docks as well. A lot of stairs to the dock, but it was fine for us. The deck and stairs down to the water had multiple locations with holes and rotting wood with nails exposed. We had small children with us and didn’t feel comfortable letting them walk around the deck. We realized the second night that the a/c stopped working and the unit had frozen over. We turned off the unit and let it sit overnight and turned it back on the next morning and everything was working fine. Any concern brought to the owner and property managers attention was immediately dealt with and they even sent out a HVAC tech the next day to take a look. Very quick responses over all. The hot water had a hard time keeping up with showers. A tankless water heater may be a good investment. If a house is going to sleep that many people, it should be able to handle several showers.

Nice family get away

We have rented a handful of VRBOs & want to provide an honest review for future renters, as we often rely on reviews. In July 2024, 17 of us stayed here with 2 boats & a few other water toys. The home is on Eagle Lake, part of the Eagle River chain, allowing access to various lakes & restaurants via boat. The dock area, with a sandy bottom and shallow water, was great for floating and swimming, with shade at waters edge. Guy & Brian, the property managers, were very responsive & helpful. There's a smaller home on the same property, but we never felt like we were intruding. The walk to the water could be challenging for those with mobility issues. The home was advertised to sleep 15-17 but we found it better for 12-14, with air mattresses needed for additional guests. The bed layouts have changed since the listing photos, & the lower-level "king bedroom" lacks privacy as it is essentially a converted living. The 3-seasons room had a futon & space for an air mattress, but the air conditioning struggled to keep it cool & there was a musty smell overall. The kitchen was well stocked, though the oven didn't work upon arrival & it needed cleaning. Brian quickly addressed the issue & Guy let us use his oven next door. There were ample supplies & towels to start the week, & the provided laundry soap was helpful. Overall, this home was in a perfect location for our water-loving, boat-owning family. With a good deep clean & a few adjustments, it could be an executive rental.

This listing shows our 3200 sq ft house can sleep up to 17 people and lists a mix of king, queen, full and twin sized beds comprised of regular beds, bunk beds, one futon and a sleeper sofa. We do understand that 15 full size adults might not fit everyone comfortably. Larger groups are normally comprised of a mix of smaller children and adults. We would advise all potential guests to review the VRBO schematic that details that information and also feel free to contact us prior to booking if there are any concerns. As to the ‘musty smell overall’ mentioned: we and the property manager and cleaning staff are in and out of the house quite often throughout the year and are not aware of any such issue. In addition to doing the laundry the cleaning staff vacuum, scrub bathrooms and kitchens and mop floors thoroughly during changeover. In addition all carpeting is professionally cleaned every year in June. We have had a nice amount of rain this year and had some rain during this visit but it did not affect any air quality in the house. The house has a newer air conditioning system that also dehumidifies the house.

Amazing family friendly cabin with beautiful views!

We had a blast at this beautiful place! There was plenty of room for our group of 12 and it was nice and quiet since it was near a dead end road. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the sandy beach and the docks were perfect for our 3 boats. There were 2 fire pits and the deer came right up to the cabin. The shower downstairs with the steam option, heated floors & heated towel rack was the best part - we felt like we were at the spa! Haha The owners were super kind and accommodating and we can't say enough good things about the place. Highly, highly recommend!!
