Oceanfront Townhome Villa with Access to Community Pool in Surf City, NC

Welcome to POINT BREAK, a 5BR/4.5BA three-story, townhome villa that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The property is part of the OCEAN WATCH VILLAS community where the sand, surf and beachside pool are just steps away. Enjoy an enviable location in the heart of Surf City, close to the pier, local restaurants, beach shops, and live music venues. Two oceanfront covered porches offer gorgeous views. You’ll also love the modern kitchen and well-appointed bedroom suites.

The upper-level GREAT ROOM features two seating areas and a 52” flat-screen television equipped with Roku where you can watch a family movie or catch up on your favorite series. Step onto the covered porch and sip your morning coffee while watching the beautiful sunrise and the surfers catch a wave. The fully equipped, modern kitchen includes granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Enjoy casual dining at the kitchen island with seating for four. The dining table seats eight and is the perfect place to enjoy your favorite cuisine or celebrate a special event. A recently renovated powder bath is convenient to the great room space.

BEDROOM SUITES This property sleeps up to 10 guests in five bedrooms. Four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and include a flat-screen TV equipped with Roku.

The SOUND SUITE is located on the third floor. It is furnished with a king-size bed and Stearns and Foster mattress. The suite includes a private balcony where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets as well as views of the Intercoastal Waterway and Surf City Bridge. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a jetted tub and a walk-in shower.

The OCEAN SUITE is located on the second floor. It is furnished with a king-size bed and a Stearns and Foster mattress; it includes an ocean-front covered porch with chaise chairs. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower.

The ISLAND SUITE is located on the second floor. It features a king-size bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a double vanity and a tub/shower combination.

The PALMA SUITE is located on the second floor. It is furnished with a king-size bed and Simmons Beautyrest mattress. The suite includes a private balcony with sunset views as well as the Intercoastal Waterway and the Surf City Bridge. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower.

The SURF SHACK is a first-floor room with a queen-size Murphy bed and smart television. This room has a door that opens onto the carport and is close to the outdoor shower. It is a casual sleeping space and does not include an ensuite bathroom.

EXTRA AMENITIES include a community pool, an outdoor shower with hot & cold water, complimentary Wi-Fi, an in-unit elevator, a washer/dryer, e-Space, a library exchange, a wine exchange, and beach chairs. Linens and beach towels are also provided for your convenience; all beds are made up prior to check-in. The carport provides tandem parking for three vehicles. Please refer to the floor plans provided for more information on room and ensuite configuration.

Point Break and the owners are second to none. The property is beautiful and centrally located. The amenities provided by the owners are top notch. This is our second time staying at this property. I don’t think we will stay any other place.

Wonderful property

We enjoyed our stay in this property immensely - the location can't be beat, the unit itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the owners could not have been nicer. Love this place!

This is our second year in a row at this same house and it is perfect. Very clean, plenty of space, easy check-in and one of the best locations in Surf City - you can walk to almost anything! Owners are super nice and helpful. They even sent me a reminder on when trash day was. Would recommend to anyone!

The Best

This VRBO rental is the best we’ve ever stayed at, and we’ve been using VRBO for 10 years. We’ve been here twice! Owners are fantastic and easily contacted. Their attention to detail is excellent! Lovely place, great location

Our family all enjoyed this Surf City beach house. We love being on the beach and also having access to a beach front pool. This house has it all plus a location that makes beach life even more fun by being able to walk to everything and rarely needing to get in the car. The Reese family is very accommodating and thoughtful with all the special amenities featured in their fabulous Point Break beach getaway!

Magical Week

Beautiful place and excellent communication

This is our second year in a row coming to this property. The house is amazing, the location is perfect, and the owners couldn’t be more accommodating. Even though a tropical storm rained on our time we had a great time. The owners kept us informed and helped us with anything we needed. I’m sure we will return again.

This house truly exceeded our expectations. It was the most well stocked home of any one we’ve ever rented. It was also very clean, and we loved having 4 king sized beds. The beds were very comfortable and were already made up when we got there.The communication from the owner was also excellent. Of course, the location is also great because you can walk to so many places that are close by. We have stayed in another home in the same complex a couple of years ago and this one was much nicer. I would highly recommend renting this home!

Amazing home, view, and location

The house was amazing and the view was breathtaking. The owners have thought of everything to ensure you have what you need and were very responsive. We didn’t have a single issue during our stay. Loved that we could walk most places, the beach was at the back door, and the kids loved playing in the pool. We all had our own space in the house as well. It was perfectly laid out. We will definitely be back again.

Family vacation

This was our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first time staying. Our family already booked for next summer! Kristy and Garrett are the most amazing hosts! The house is so beautiful and extremely clean and in the best location in Surf City! The only thing you need is a toothbrush. Kristy and Garrett have thought of everything you could possibly need. From the warm welcome of walking in the house you just know it’s going to be a wonderful vacation. I can say we are already counting down the days until we are there again!!

Amazing property

Just got home from our stay at Point Break. Had the most relaxing family vacation ever. This property has everything. The hosts are so accommodating and the attention to detail is amazing. Check in was so easy. No running to pick up keys somewhere after you’ve been on the road for hours. Our family of 9 had plenty of space. Loved waking up and sitting on the deck(s) looking out over the ocean every morning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Family vacation

There really are no words to describe renting from Garrett and Kristy! Their place was everything that was described and more. We have been vacationing in Surf City for over 20 years and this by far and hands down the best place we have ever stayed in. Everything that we needed was there. First thing you notice when walking in besides how wonderfully decorated it is, and how extremely clean it is and how well they maintain the property. The communication was smooth and easy! Thank you Garrett and Kristy for helping our family have such a great vacation. We will be returning!!

Absolutely stunning property and location!

This property is great location next to the pier on the family side of the beach. Great beach access and pool below two balconies. The stunning décor and wide spread layout gives each guest their privacy and own bathroom. The bonus room downstairs was great for young teens that like to have their own "den". Outdoor shower is key for keeping sand out of property and the welcome basket was not expected but such a great surprise of all local goodies. Great food locations next door and donut/coffee shops/bars within a block or two. Wish there was a beer fridge or ice maker- but bring an extra cooler to store all of the beach BYOBs! :)

Impeccable location and property.

Property has fabulous accommodations. Well maintained, clean, comfortable, and attentive providing a level of detail in guest bag, wine selection and snacks that exceeded expectations. View and location on beach can’t be beat. Convenient for food, amenities and easy access to everything. Beds were extremely comfortable, linens and towels were plenteous. Beach bikes, chairs and outdoor shower made the stay even more enjoyable. Remodeled furnishings and upgraded appliances are all like new. Definitely plan to stay here again.

Family beach getaway

Place was beautiful inside and out and we had a wonderful family vacation. The house also was very well stocked with supplies and fun stuff like games and things for the beach. Loved having the beach and pool right there. Definitely would stay here again!

The property is exactly how it is presented in pictures and the description. It was perfect for my family of five. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Best Beach Vacation Ever!

This beach house is amazing! Kristy and Garrett are wonderful hosts and did fantastic job renovating it. Beautifully decorated with so many lovely touches. They provide everything! All you need is a bathing suit and groceries if you want to cook in their gourmet kitchen! Most of us were from out of state, so it was nice to have beach towels and beach chairs provided. We loved having the community pool and beach right in front of us. Keep in mind that the beach is public. But the pool and beach were never too crowded (late June.) The location is ideal. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. You can walk the fishing pier for $1. View Beautiful sunrises from the beach and sunsets over the Surf City Bridge. You will love "Point Break!"

The beat beach house

This property exceeded our expectations! We loved the location the furnishings and how the house is set up. Being able to walk so many places was so fun and easy. We so appreciated the quality cookware and the extra supplies like toilet paper and paper towels. It was so nice not to have to run out just because we used up a roll of paper towels. We had plenty of hot water and everyone thought the beds were very comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with and responded to messages quickly. We highly recommend this property and will be back!
