The Pool House

Nestled within a half-mile stroll from the heart of Ferndale, this lovely one-bedroom home offers a tranquil escape close to the Pacific. The Pool House is a welcome retreat - a sunlit interior presents an inviting living area with a queen murphy bed and flatscreen TV. A pool house boasts a private indoor swimming pool to enjoy all year long! The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to create your favorite meals. When it’s time to rest, the king bed in the bedroom has you covered. When you want to hit the ocean, Centerville Beach County Park is only 5 miles away! Added perks of this family-friendly vacation rental include free WiFi, a gas grill, and partial air-conditioning.

For pool heat, please note that the pool can get warm in a matter of a few hours and can be added at anytime for 80USD/night.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is parking for two cars in the driveway. Please only park on the white gravel on left side of garage door. Enter through the white picket gate with Vacasa sign and go to the back for entry.
Streaming with own accounts available.
A queen Murphy bed in the living area adds an extra sleeping option.
Please note that the homeowner lives in the detached main house.


Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Lovely place

Clean and comfortable, quiet and surprisingly roomy. Thoughtfully furnished. Pool was a plus for our granddaughter, but the place would have been very nice without.

Amazing find!

House has a very clean and spacious layout with a modern and well stocked kitchen. Has an overall comfy feel, and easy access to downtown Ferndale and the Redwoods. The heated indoor pool was an amazing extra. Would love to spend next trip to the North Coast here.

No the pool was feezing! Which was one of the main points why I rented the property. i understand it's November and most likely they shut it down for winter, but it would have been nice if we could have known that before hand and I though we could swim because it is indoors after all. The property was awesome, though lots of wildlife, clean family friendly and close to town. We just love Ferndale! I had lots of trouble with the key lock, opening it, and then also that it would not close upon checkout. I did find a lot of ants in the kitchen area which is probably normal for the area. Also, they wanted me to start a load of laundry before I left, and did not specify what needed to go into the laundry. And there was no laundry soap, so I just put the sheets and towels in there and did not start it. Over all it was a nice weekend in Ferndale, though pricey at the restaurants downtown as well as the gift shops.I knew it would be, so I budgeted for that. Regardless of the time of day every meal for 2 adults and 1 child was around 100 plus tip. Everyone in town was amazing and super, nice and I really enjoyed my stay there and wonderful memories were made!

Beautiful and spacious

The outside is misleading because once you enter the property you are easily impressed. The property is spacious with lots of windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The pool is an unexpected treat. We really enjoyed the pool and walking to town.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay very much! The property was a little difficult to locate, as it was through a gate at the back of the property. We ended up arriving in the dark at night and found ourselves down the wrong driveway, but once we saw the Vacasa sign, the location became evident.

Family Experience

Fantastic family experience! High class and quality overall cleanliness in totality. From the smallest details the property owners ensure a wonderful rental experience. The pool and home area of the rental are exquisite. We are Humboldt County locals and will definitely be staying here again for a luxurious home away from home vacation.

Clean, comfortable and very nice

This house is feels bigger then you would expect. Everything is new and up to date. The owners have done a great job decorating and with the layout. Convenient location close to town and shopping. We had them heat the pool, so worth it! The kids swam for hours. Nice little getaway for anytime of year.

Quiet Country Stay

This house was spacious, modern, had lots of natural light, in a quiet neighborhood, close to downtown Ferndale and about town 20 minute drive to Eureka. They had pamphlets on things to do, board games, COMFY beds and furniture. The full kitchen allowed us to cook dinner together, making it feel like a home away from home. We didn't get a chance to try the heated indoor pool, but we'll try it on our next stay since we'll definitely be booking this place again.

Ferndale Pool House

This was our second stay at the Pool House for my husband and I. The house is very comfortable for the two of us, and room to have our son and daughter in law over for dinner. We have not used the pool but intend to on our next visit. Down town Ferndale is a short easy 5 minute walk for coffee shops, restaurants and shopping (including a grocery store). The kitchen has everything you will need to stay in and cook, with a beautiful stove and a grill outside to use. We’re planning to return soon. A cozy home away from home!

Loss of Power

A nice house and set up but the pool house lost power to the lights and pool the second day we were there. More than certain it was a breaker issue but it was not able to be fixed well we were there. Disappointing as we stayed at this location for the pool. 🙁

Lovely house

The house is small but you wouldn't know it. The layout is clever. It feels much larger than it is. The first time we used the pool, it didn't feel warm enough. We closed the outside door and that made a world of difference the next day. We paid the money to have the pool heated and didn't find it worth the money. We used the pool only a couple of times so it wound up being a lot of money per use.
