There is a spacious driveway out front for two cars, but plenty of free street parking that is typically open. There is also a brand new trolley station just a few blocks away that can take you to several points of interest in San Diego.

If you have a car, there is close freeway access and most points of interest are an average of 5-10 minutes away. But if you would rather not drive, there is a brand new trolley station just two blocks away that will take you to the all major metropolitan areas in town including Downtown, Little Italy, Old Town, Convention Center, Seaport Village, and even UTC in La Jolla.

GENERAL
Standard check-in time is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM. We thank you for not smoking and not bringing any pets onto the premises.

Please ensure that the total number of guests you specify in your booking is accurate, including all infants and babies of all ages, and let us know if that changes. We will only accommodate those guests specified and no more above and beyond that number, especially due to municipal codes regarding occupancy.

NOISE & GATHERINGS
Due to the residential nature of our neighborhood and out of respect for our neighbors in the same building, we have a strict policy against social gatherings or any other loud/disruptive activities, especially after 9pm. This also means no visitors (anyone not already accounted for in the booking and already staying here) at anytime.

Our property manager lives nearby and he’s had to ask guests to leave in the past for throwing parties.

POOL & SAFETY
This property has a pool and all children under the age of 18 must be monitored by an adult at all times while on premises. Use of the pool is at your own risk and you will take full responsibility for the safety and protection of you and everyone in your group at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty. Property gates must remain closed at all times. No food, beverage, or glass allowed in or near the pool. Diving and running is prohibited.

By agreeing to these house rules, you understand that the area surrounding pool may not be fenced or secure and that neither we, your host (Mascalese LLC) nor the owner of this property (Owner) shall be liable to you (the Tenant), Tenant's guests or invitees, or any other person for any injury, loss, or damage to any person or property on or about the premises. Tenant shall hold Owner and Mascalese LLC harmless and indemnify and defend Owner and Mascalese LLC from and against all injury, loss, or damage occasioned by the use, misuse, or abuse of the pool and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of Tenant or Tenant’s guests or invitees.

OCCUPANCY
Please note the maximum occupancy and number of bedrooms specified in this listing. The maximum number of guests shall not exceed this number at all times.

STAYS LONGER THAN 30 NIGHTS
Airbnb does not have a mechanism for recurring charges, but as a benefit to both us and the guest, we do require a recurring cleaning of the unit to be scheduled once every 2-3 weeks at an additional cost equal to the original cleaning fee each time, and this would include cleaning of towels and linens.

FURNISHINGS
Moving existing furniture out of the apartment or new furniture into it without consent of the host is strictly prohibited. Moving large furniture within the apartment from one room to another is also prohibited as our housekeeper may not be able to physically move it back once you depart.

PARKING
Parking details are specified in the Amenities section of this listing. If there is no reserved parking, please observe all posted parking restrictions when utilizing public parking.

TRASH & RECYCLING
Use blue bins for recycling, green bins for food waste, and black bins for everything else.

INFANTS & BABIES
The space is listed as child-friendly because we've gotten a lot of requests from families with infants who want to stay with us. We'd be happy to host those groups, but unfortunately, we do not have cribs or pack and plays or any bedding of that nature available for use, so please bear that in mind if it is a requirement for you.

OTHER
We strive to ensure that all of our guests have the best experience staying with us but we understand that accidents may happen. If, during your stay, anything accidentally breaks (e.g., a wine glass, photo frame, vase, etc.), please let us know right away so we can be sure to properly deep clean it after your departure. This is primarily for the safety of the next guest who will arrive after you and we generally won't charge you any amount of the security deposit for small items or decor, so please don't hesitate to let us know. We really appreciate it!

CITY REGULATIONS
The City noise limits pursuant to Municipal Code sections 59.5.0401 and 59.5.0501, and remedies available to the City to address and enforce violations, including the issuance of individual administrative citations in an amount up to $1,000 to each guest and to the host. Upon a failure to vacate by the expiration of the occupancy term, guests may be deemed trespassers and may be subject to removal by relevant authorities Pursuant to Chapter 5, Article 1, Division 10 of the Municipal Code, if the police are called to address public peace, health, safety, or general welfare issues, guests may be responsible for the cost of the police response.
