The house was just as described and had loads of room for our family. We particularly appreciated the outdoor space for eating, as well as the large dining table and coffee table, which were perfect for meals and playing games. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.The location was perfect for us — just a 5-minute walk down to the beach, with several more beaches within a 15-minute walk or 3-minute cycle. The beaches were fantastic for paddle boarding, and we loved being able to paddle from one bay to another.Our teenage boys also loved having the mini gym on the beach nearby, and it was great to have the community pétanque court, foosball and ping-pong table right there too. We'll have to learn more about Breton boules before our next visit!We also really enjoyed cycling around the peninsula, with so many little towns and beaches within easy reach. And, of course, we loved stopping for crêpes by the beach.One small point for other UK renters: the VRBO listing didn't include the deposit, cleaning or linen charges. This was simply an admin issue, as the listing had originally been created by our lovely hosts on Abritel, the French sister site to VRBO, and some details hadn't transferred across. Our hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful in resolving this, and communication with them throughout was excellent.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the house, our hosts, or Saint-Jacques. It made for a perfect holiday and we'd happily return.
