Beach Day! Tigertail Beach is only a short 2 miles away. Tigertail Beach is a clean and well-kept park with changing rooms and a first-rate snack bar that serves beer, wines, and sandwiches in a flower-lined patio shaded by beach umbrellas. There's also a great playground and concession stand where you can rent kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and other beach gear.
Marco Island's beach and surrounding sand bars offer some of the best shelling in the world. A stroll along Marco Island beaches will reward the shell seeker with a wide variety of shells including whelks, olive shells, scallops and hundreds of other varieties.
 
Other things to do nearby: Explore the Everglades National Park and Everglades City (30 minutes away), which boasts airboat tours, biking and canoeing tours, and alligator viewing at Alligator Alley. In Naples (25 minutes away), you will find a breathtaking botanical garden, a zoo, and exclusive shopping.
