Wake up to glorious river views in private luxury, with no chore list!

Quiet 4 bedroom/3 bath home on the American River bluff above the San Juan Rapids. Breathtaking river views from the backyard, all 3 upstairs bedrooms, family rm, kitchen & both dining rooms. With private lawn, deck, bbq and expansive gardens. Laundry and well-equipped chef's kitchen, flatscreen TVs with Roku in living rm and all 4 bedrooms. 20 min to downtown Sac, Sac airport and 1.5 hrs to Lake Tahoe. Walking distance from Bannister Park’s river access and scenic bike trails.

PLEASE NOTE due to County regulations, we can have only two vehicles per booking, and there is no additional street parking available. We are also unable to host any type of event and are limited to 8 total guests of any age. While we have amazing river views from atop the bluffs, we do not have physical access to the river. River access is available quite nearby from several popular parks and raft/kayak launch points. Our natural setting means we are occasionally visited by local wildlife including bobcats, coyotes, and rattlesnakes. Please be mindful when enjoying our outdoor spaces.

Beautiful Tranquil High End Property

Our family immensely enjoyed our stay at this tranquil property, surrounded by trees, overlooking the river, yet only a few minutes from a fabulous grocery store. The house is well supplied with linens, coffee, dinnerware, and plenty of seating and tables for a family. Our hosts replied promptly to all messages. The stairs are beautiful, just a heads up that if you have infants or littles that there aren't baby gates so you would have to watch them around the stairs. Our toddlers really enjoyed the friendly kitten, who loved to be petted. This is a well loved property. Here are a couple photos I took with my Samsung phone.

Wonderful house for our family

We had a great stay in a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the river. We loved the sound of the rapids as we sat on the back porch. The house had plenty of room for 8 adults and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend with family.

A beautiful property. Very spacious, 4 bedrooms All tv's allowed apps to be downloaded. The hosts were essy to contact & were very helpful when one our group had a medical issue. Stay here. You will love it!

Spectacular View

Elizabeth and her husband are very gracious host, who ensure you have a wonderful stay. They checked in with us to make sure everything was fine and if we needed anything. She is very responsive. The view of the American River is spectacular. The house is in a quiet neighbor and it was a very relaxing stay. It is a large 4 bedroom with a lot of space. I would definitely stay there again.

Exquisite Views

A group of our friends and family stayed at this home for three nights. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The house was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The listing mentions a view and honestly, it was even more gorgeous than I expected. The backyard and upper deck have sweeping views of the Sacramento River. It's a very peaceful location. The host was easy to contact and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were in town for a marathon and, on our arrival, found a small gift basket with runner's supplies! It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. We would absolutely stay here again.

A beautiful place for a relaxing reunion with old friends

We were 5 70+ year olds, who have been friends since college. We were looking for a centrally located place to stay and this house fit the bill beautifully. It was a short trip to Fair Oaks Village, where we spent a pleasant morning and made some great bargain finds at French in the Village. We love to cook and the kitchen and two dining tables were very user friendly and offered great river views. The house was very peaceful and we were very comfortable in the large bedrooms and bathrooms.

Beautiful Private Retreat

We stayed in this beautiful, large, home for three nights! This home is tucked away in such a unique and private area. Everything was exactly as described but even better. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was wonderful! The house was extremely clean, the soaps and shampoos were great. The yard was gorgeous and the views were so pretty. There were five of us and we all would love to stay here again. Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your home with us.
