Luxury End Unit Townhome - Easy Access to Slopes - Views/Huge Deck

Our 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath condo (Unit 10) is located in the Sitzmark Building at Purgatory Resort and offers convenience in all seasons. This is a slope side retreat right at the base of one of Purgatory’s favorite runs, Lower Hades (just walk up to Lower Hades from the townhome). Ski down to the high-speed six pack in the morning, and ski right back to your door in the afternoon. In spring, summer and fall, mountain biking and hiking trails are just the other side of the front door. This location cannot be beat, and it’s close to skier base area, all of the restaurants and shops, and the primary amenities of the main skier village at Purgatory. This is a 3-level condo.

The communication with the host was exceptional! The home was clean and had lots of extras like throw blankets for the living room, puzzles and games, and a large pillow selection for the bedrooms. The only thing that I will say that kept me from giving the property 5 stars was that a lot of the dishes, cups, and pots and pans were in the cabinets to use but still dirty. I had planned to use the crockpot for dinner one. Ight but it was so gross, I just put it back on the shelf and got a large pot to cook stovetop. There were several glasses, several pots and pans, and a couple of utensils that were pretty gross. Also, there were plenty of containers to store leftovers, but nothing had a lid/top. Other than those few kitchen issues, everything else was perfect!

The ‘most perfect’ ski in/ski out location!!

Absolutely perfect for our group of 9! Beautiful view of the mountain and surrounding scenery! Easy ski in/ski out took the stress out of packing everything for the day!! We’ll definitely hope to be back next year!!

Great Condo

We really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and well maintained. Easy to go to Durango, Silverton and Ouray. Grandkids loved the outdoor balcony and the views were spectacular.

Great location and spacious

The house was very clean and the location was our favorite out of all the properties we have stayed in. We could ski right up to the back patio. The split floor plan made it nice for kids to have their own area.

Great place

This condo was conveniently located close to the slopes, and was roomy and comfortable for our group of 7. The only things that were a little challenging were all the stairs for my parents who are in their 70's, and the driveway was a bit steep and treacherous in icy conditions. Even with 4WD my son's truck slid toward one of the buildings making for a scary few minutes getting out of there. The management company was very responsive with any questions we had, and we were otherwise very comfortable.

Nice place

This is a nice place to stay... one thing I did not like was the 3 flights of stairs you have to climb to the main level and bedrooms are on the first and second level. So Everything is split up. By looking at the pictures you would never know that. Thank goodness I'm young and healthy. Otherwise no complaints.

The property was clean, kitchen is very well equipped. I have no complaints about this property, everything in the residence operated properly, condition is great, the location is great. I would only caution for the winter that this property is on a short but steep incline and despite having 4WD vehicle it was very icy, use extreme caution when driving.

A great stay!

The condo is an end unit so the wrap around deck was an awesome perk. The views are truly magnificent! The kitchen was so very well stocked, the heaters kept our toes warm, and there were plenty of places to relax on the different levels of the home. We do recommend stopping in town for groceries before driving up as the options are extremely limited once on the mountain. We knew this before coming up so we did a pickup order and continued on our way! The house is 3 floors. The first has a bed/bath/closet. It is a very narrow entry and hallway making luggage/winter sports equipment a tricky navigation. The second floor has two bedrooms, spacious laundry room, and bathroom. The top floor hosts the kitchen, pantry, primary bedroom/bathroom, living, dining, mudroom, 1/2 bath, and deck. We did have a few issues: the first floor heater didn't work making the bathroom/bedroom pretty chilly in February. We couldn't drive up to the designated parking spots because of ice as the incline to the home is very steep. Many of the dishes weren't squeaky clean so we washed before use. Otherwise the house was spotless! Lastly, anytime you ran the dryer on the 2nd floor the living room would vibrate upstairs. Overall it was the perfect place to come home to after skiing all day and warm up next to the fire in the comfy furniture! We would stay again!

Perfect Condo for a Mountain Getaway!

When we arrived we instantly fell in love with the view! One of the many perks of this condo is that it is an end unit, so we were able to enjoy the large wrap around patio. We relaxed on the lounge chairs while looking at the beautiful trees and mountains. We even got to see some of the mountain bikers racing down the mountain! The outdoor space was definitely one of our favorite things. Also, you can’t beat the location. It’s on the Purgatory Resort, so It’s walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and tons of fun outdoor activities that kept our kids busy: roller coaster, sled, go carts, and mining. Although we went in the summer, we would definitely come back in the winter for some skiing. It’s ski in ski out, which would be super convenient with the kids. It’s also a short scenic drive to Durango which has so much to do. Some of the fun things we did were horseback riding, white water rafting, and lots of hiking trails. Durango is such a cool town worth exploring while you’re here!The condo itself is very spacious and clean. There’s ample dining space inside with the barstools plus a dining table with seating for 8. We preferred to eat outside at the patio table while enjoying the views! All the beds were very comfortable and it was nice that each bedroom had it’s own TV. Another thing that we appreciated was the large laundry room. There’s a large counter that was perfect for folding everything. It really came in handy. We are a small family of four, but you could fit three families here with the 4 bedrooms and 3 1⁄2 bathrooms. The management was very helpful throughout the whole process and we would definitely book this condo again!
