*The Bear Cabins in Broken Bow* presents Cubby Bear Cabin!!

Cubby Bear is located on a secluded acre lot on the peak of one of the highest mountain tops in the Beavers Bend and Broken Bow Lake area, surrounded by 80' pine trees and breathtaking views. Our cabin will comfortably sleep 2-6, with 3 bathrooms to fit our guest needs. We have a 2 story deck, private hot tub and an absolutely beautiful private circle driveway perfect for morning walks!

We are within walking distance to Okie Girls Coffee & Ice cream Shop, Shuck Me, Mountain fork Brewery, and a wine tasting room! Only minutes away from the golf course, lake, and less than 5 minutes from the beginning of the forest service roads/trails. Enjoy ATV riding, biking and hiking in the hundreds of acres of wilderness and National Forest .

If you are looking for that classic cabin feel that gives you the warm and fuzzies...LOOK no further, Cubby Bear has it all! It is located in the BEST location central to all activities, but sits back off the road giving you lots of space!

-KING BEDROOM #1: Has a KING bed, deck access and a private en suite. The bathroom has a soaker tub with jets, a stand up shower, toilet and sink. Smart ROKU TV

-KING BEDROOM #2: Has a KING bed- is off the main downstairs hallway and right next door to the hall bath + a ROKU Smart TV

-BEDROOM THREE: is upstairs off the loft, two twin beds Sleeping 2. The loft also has it's own bathroom for the upstairs guest- sink, toilet and a tub shower combo!

Other things to note:
- Pest Control is scheduled quarterly. Due to the house being in a heavily-treed area, you will encounter critters. This is common even with pest control treatments. If there is an abundance of critters, please inform your host.
- Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are outside our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage. (this can be done while booking through Airbnb or direct- if booking that way)
- ABSOLUTELY NO smoking *in* the home.
- Check-In/Out: Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. We charge $75 for two hours late/early for all requests of early check-in & late check-out, based on availability. Please note we may not be able to accommodate early check-ins/ late checkouts. Please message us for more details.

The property is managed by The Bear Cabins in BB, LLC. Your host is available by text, message, or call during your stay! After booking you will be required to submit a pre-arrival form, show ID, and sign our rental agreement. This property is a contactless self check in. Code will be sent 3 days before check in.

We enjoyed our stay here for a long weekend. We had 6 people - 5 adults and an older teen. It was easy to get to and close to everything. The owners were responsive and quick to reply to any questions we had. My kids really liked the oversized connect 4 on the deck - it was a fun set up. The eating area is setup for 4 both inside and out, so we couldn't all sit at the same place. This wasn't a deal breaker, just something to be aware of if you're looking for everyone to sit at a table together for meals (we missed this in pictures). Overall, this is a nice cabin that's close to what the area offers. It was a good place for family time.

Great Thanksgiving!

This cabin was perfect for our family (2 college-aged kids). We immediately forgot all about the stress of life when we entered the cabin and it was already decorated for the holidays! The cabin was cozy and clean and had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal. The location is also amazing as we walked to get ice cream several times!

Anniversary/mini vacay

My husband and I took our 16yo twins and my dad to have a mini vacation/anniversary get away. The cabin was so nice, and it’s just down the road from a bunch of fun stuff. After searching for a long time, they were the only cabin we found to allow bigger dogs, and we were very thankful for that!! The kitchen had pretty much everything you’d need to stay for a while and they had streaming services for my husband to watch his football game! We do plan on trying to come back again, and would def stay here again!

Our family had our FIRST cabin experience at The Cubby Bear and it was perfect! The kids had the entire upstairs to themselves with games and their own tv.. They loved the hot tub and connect four outside. The cabin was so fresh and clean. I immediately felt cozy and peace as soon as we pulled in the driveway. The kitchen had everything I needed to make all our meals. Highly recommend.

Cubby Bear Cabin

This cabin was super cute for a quick stay. Description said "pet friendly" but did not say to keep off furniture and "crate when left alone" until AFTER we couldn't cancel. That needs to be added to house rules in listing on VRBO and rental agreement. We had to spend Christmas holiday without our fur babies. Other than coffee pot having issues it was a pretty good stay. Plenty of room for 6 people. Game room was a hit even for older kids.

Fall Break 2022

Our 3 night stay at the cabin was just what we needed. It was a perfect getaway from the hustle of everyday life. The cabin was amazing, fully furnished, clean, loved the floorplan and decor. The location was great. It sits far enough off the road to give you seclusion compared to the others that have a neighborhood vibe. I definitely plan on returning for another relaxing escape from reality. The property owner kept in touch and informed me on current conditions such as an active burn ban and activities going on. I was at ease knowing that if I had a question, she was a text away with eagerness to help.

Clean and Comfortable

Our stay at Cubby Bear Cabin in Hochatown, Oklahoma, was truly fantastic! The cabin was incredibly clean and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Each room was thoughtfully arranged, but the highlight was definitely the spacious upstairs area. It served as both a game room and sleeping area with two beds and its own bathroom, providing the kids with a perfect space of their own. They loved spending time up there playing foosball, enjoying the board games, and jacuzzi. The cabin had everything we could need, from well-appointed rooms to fun activities that kept everyone entertained. The location was also ideal, giving us easy access to all the local attractions. During our stay, we completed The Maze, went zip-lining, visited a petting zoo, hiked scenic trails, and even made time to shop in town. One day, we took a drive to Idabel to visit the museum, which was a great addition to our trip. The area also has a variety of fantastic dining options, and our favorite by far was Nammans BBQ. The only piece of constructive feedback would be regarding the downstairs showers. While the upstairs kids’ room had a standard tub, the two downstairs showers were smaller inserts that were a bit challenging to use comfortably. However, this was a minor issue in what was otherwise a wonderful experience.

Wonderful cabin with privacy

First and foremost, the owner of the cabin, Jaci, is wonderful with communications and is so sweet! When your cabin is booked, she will send you a thorough informational packet about the cabin and the surrounding area. This was very helpful. My husband and I stayed with our two kids (4 and 2) and our friends family with two kids (5 and 3). The kids loved the stairs and the bunk rooms. The cabin had all the amenities you would find in a hotel and more! The washer/dryer is a savior with kids and just with how dirty you and your clothes can get when you are hiking or doing any activity I broken bow! The kitchen has all necessary cooking pots and utensils. The only think you need to bring if your are cooking are the food and the spices. We had rain on the last leg of our trip, but we were still able to have fun with the kids. There are coloring books, board games, TVs, and a foosball table. The location is great! It was just away enough from the "busy" area of Broken Bow so we actually felt like we out in forest. We stayed at a previous place in Broken Bow that was also a wonderful cabin, but it was just a little too close to the neighboring cabins.

Wonderful, relaxing home away from home

Jaci is an incredible host - her communication and attention to detail are fantastic. The cabin is very comfortable and relaxing. We don’t usually sleep well away from home, but the beds here are SO comfortable that we had deep, restful nights of sleep. We loved our mornings sitting on the porch and drinking coffee and our evenings sitting around the fire pit as a family. It is also very conveniently located to area activities like golf, hiking and kayaking - which we really enjoyed. We also walked to the escape room and ice cream shop and enjoyed both of those things. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for accommodations in the area. Great cabin with nice decor, outdoor space and best location in Hochetown. Our only issue was lack of utensils and plates in kitchen. I am sure keeping everything in rental property is an endless problem. Any questions or concerns about cabin were immediately addressed. A ice maker would be a great addition!
