The place was nice; however, traffic noise from the state highway really put a damper on feeling secluded and at one with nature. They're also in the beginning phases of building another cabin right next to this one; we encountered lots of chain saw noise one evening. Please note that you can't hear any of this from the inside of the cabin, just while sitting on the back deck. The linens -- i.e., towels and some blankets -- had to be washed by us because they smelled badly of mildew. The dryer does not work. The kitchen is stocked with cheap utensils, pots and pans, etc. If you plan on grilling burgers, bring your own spatula or use the cheap plastic ones provided. Bring your own salt and pepper and spices as well as well as paper towels. The cabin sleeps six but seats no more than 4 or 5 so bring your folding chairs as well.
Other than the above, the place is still nice. Hot tub is nice, bedrooms are nice, layout of the cabin is nice. The back deck would be nice if less noisy. I think this place would be more attractive to people who want to party or women who want to "wine," like I am now. Lol. It's close to restaurants and bars and the lake. I've stayed in better VRBOs down there that were more suited to my tastes. Just depends on what you're after.
