The property was in an awesome location and as advertized. Host was great to work with. the house was comfortable and clean. It was well equiped and there were many little things that made it complete. Plenty of coffee and a snack basket along with easy instructions as to where everything was. I would stay here again!

Beautiful property right down the street from downtown Wayzata. We enjoyed sitting out on the front deck in the mornings and evenings. Walked to the lake each day and around Wayzata. Great location!

Cozy and close to the action

Great place that is close to all the action in Wayzata. This home was in great condition and very well appointed. Communication was easy with quick responsiveness. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wayzata is a lovely spot and this house is ideally situated. No need for a car rental or Uber/Lyft. We got our steps in and saved some money doing so. Plenty of grocery and restaurant options. The local gift shopping is quite pricey, only a couple of affordable shops. For example, 500 for a simple shift dress is a bit out of any of our price ranges.The beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well stocked. A variety of snacks were left for us which was a nice touch.

Wedding weekend.

We hosted a wedding at a nearby establishment. It was close enough for our family of 7 to walk to the events of the weekend. A place to get away and take a break when needed! The snacks were a hit! I was unprepared for the train but it didn’t interrupt sleep.

The house was clean and picked up. Incredible location and a super polite host.Unfortunately, the home layout was odd. The main floors only have one bathroom and the second is in an unfinished basement that requires you to walk down in the dark. I had to kill 4 spiders before starting the shower. Also, there is no dishwasher.The location really is the best so if that is your first priority, this could be the perfect house for you!

Nice but inaccurate

This place was super cute and comfortable and in a great location. However I must share that the listing has incorrect bed details. There are 2 rooms on the upper floor (each has a queen bed - we measured). There is 1 room on the main floor with 2 double beds and an office with a pull out full bed. There are no king beds as described. Also the beds are “sleep number” style but all the batteries in the remotes are dead so no adjustments were possible.

I was not alerted to the fact batteries were failing. We have some in a drawer and we would have dropped some off if we would have been contacted.

This is a charming older home with a lot of character, and we enjoyed many aspects of our stay. However, there are a few things prospective renters should know to determine whether it's the right fit for their group.When we arrived about an hour after check-in, the garage door was open and someone was working on a project in the driveway. This turned out to be DeeDee, the house manager. She was friendly and helpful, but it was a bit unexpected to arrive at a vacation rental and find work still being done on the property.Before DeeDee left, I specifically asked whether the propane tank for the grill was full because we planned to barbecue that evening. A few hours later, when I tried to use the grill, it would not start. After checking, I found the propane tank was empty. Fortunately, I was able to locate a replacement tank in the garage and get everything working, but it was an inconvenience that could have easily been avoided.The biggest consideration for future guests is that this is truly an older home, and some of its original features may not be ideal for everyone. The antique doorknobs caused multiple accidental lock-ins during our stay, which became frustrating and could be especially challenging for families with young children. The basement stairs are also very steep, and the lights were not working during our visit, creating a potential safety concern.We also found the television setup difficult to navigate, which made it harder to relax and unwind in the e

We enjoyed our stay it had plenty of room. We really liked the kitchen, living room and dining room. We also liked the fire pit and the seating around was nice too! The decks were roomy.

Nice Location

Pleasant and proprietor was very good. Note that there are two bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the other full bath is in the basement.

Perfect location

We attended a wedding at the hotel across the street, the location was perfect, since it was such a short walk. We had a large age range so the convenience was very important. The house was beautiful and clean, many unexpected extras that show the care given to the home as well as the guests. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family!!!
